    She purred looking outside, "ooh, it looks like it's going to storm tonight." She mewed noting the dark cloud in the distance.

    "Me too! I absolutely love thunderstorms! They always give me butterfly's!" She squeaked standing on her hind legs to look outside.

    Chen-xiao blinked and closed the shutters, "do you want to wait out the storm with me or stay in you own hut?" She mewed thoughtfully. "Because if I don't lock up the rain will just be pouring in." Her whiskers twitched remembering how she had accidentally left them open while she was asleep.

    She nodded and latched up her door finally so it wouldn't flap around. Curling up into a small ball her ears perked as the rain and thunder slowly helped her goto sleep.

    Jian-xaio closed his eyes and continued to listen to the rain until he fell asleep.Then the thunder and rain slowly started to fade as he slept.

    Chen-xiao yawned as the storm eased. Looking around she blinked as dull lighting flittered through her closed windows. Slowly making her way over she opened them standing on her hind legs.

    Jian-xaio woke to see Chen-xaio standing on her hind legs and opening the windows.He yawned and stretched."Thank you for letting me stay while the storm passed"he meowed.

    "Your welcome" she smiled, "thank you for staying with me, it gets rather lonely sometimes" she dipped her head standing on all fours again.

    Jian-xaio nodded."It was my pleasure staying and keeping each other company"he meowed.He looked at the pale sky and opened his maw to smell the freshly fallen rain.

    She nodded and unlatched the door so he could go if he pleased. Chen-xiao washed her ears quietly as he woke.

    You people... I swear XD so its the day before the ball correct? eh thats what im going with.


    IC: Danmi-xaio stretched in the morning sun, poking her head out of one of the windows. She noticed everything was glistening with dew and raindrops and grinned. "After rain. My favorite time." She said to herself, quietly opening the door and racing to the farther edges of the territory, where she knew Chen-xaio's hut was. "Chen-xaio! Are you awake?" She called, standing in front of her friend's hut.


    Prince Kaito paced into the courtyard, having woken early and taken a walk. He sat down at the foot of one of the bamboo trees and took a sip of his tea. The ball was technically his coorination, so everything had to be perfect. At the end of today, he will be crowned Emperor. He looked around for his vizier. "Where is Hua!?" He called, mostly to himself.

    "Yes, Jaim-xiao's in here too! we waited out the storm together!" She mewed poking her head out of the door way.

    "Okay! When do you think your kimono will arrive?" Danmi-xaio called back. She hopped onto the porch of Chen-xaio's hut. "How long did the storm last?" She asked.

    "I don't know, we both fell asleep. And I'm hoping tomorrow or this eve." She squeaked, "I was showing Jian-xiao my mothers necklace" she mewed flicking an ear to let her into the small hut.

    Chen-xiao nodded an agreement and sat a fox length a away from Jian-xiao allowing Danmi-xiao to sit where she pleased.
