  • Patricia stepped on the cigarette bud, smearing it across the concrete. When Patricia heard Allison's question a smile broke out on her face. "Of course I've been camping before. I went to summer camp every year and I was a girl scout when I was ten years old." Patricia took the neatly folded up tent away from Allison. She lightly pinched Allison's cheek and smiled cutely. "You know, you're not so bad for a liquor." Patricia knew she shouldn't be so quick to judge Allison and assume that she's like all liquors. She needed to give her a chance.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 500px; letter-spacing: -1px; text-align: justify; color: white][align=center][color=black]Brayden listened intently as she nodded at what Scout had said only there was one part of her little explanation that caught the Bubblegum up as she lifted a brow slightly. "Forensic scholarship?" She had moved her gaze from the area behind Scout now to her eyes as a small smile appeared on her lips. "You're smart then! I mean...I knew that you were smart before but it wasn't really...what's the word...I didn't think you cared enough to think about scholarships." She shrugged, instantly feeling bad for assuming that Scout literally didn't care about anything else than the drag she was taking from the mini deathstick in her hand. It made Brayden respect her in some kind of odd way which she didn't think was possible. A Bubblegum respecting a Liquor? Unheard of.

After a moment, Brayden had realized that Scout had moved so the smoke was blowing away from the two girls. She was also observant and noticed that Scout actually wasn't bad looking...she was attractive and it made Brayden's heart pound a little quicker. She coughed into her elbow, trying to clear the silence that had settled between the two girls. She nodded towards the tent as she frowned slightly. "I'm really hoping you know how to set up a tent because I'm kind of lost..." She said motioning to the folded up cloth. She had went camping once but that was when she was little and she remembered falling into a stream and smelling of fish for the rest of the trip. Though she had a strong urge to travel and explore...she never thought about making a tent.[/fancypost]

  • Allison had never gone camping before. She didn't really know anything about it other then the movies and survival shows that her older brother used to watch before he moved on to college. Allison suddenly got red. Did she just... pinch my cheek?!
She swallows hard and steps back, "W-Whatever!"
She didn't really know how to respond to her. NO ONE'S ever done that. Or even come close. Allison did notice something about Patricia though. It was like something in her eyes sparkled.
Her smile. Her smile was dazzling.
Wait what was she even thinking?
    God.
    Bubblegums....
You know what? She was just going to have to raise the bar someway somehow. She'd think on that later on.
"A...Anyways, so you know how to put up a tent? and do all the.. um..." she thought for a second, "all the other camping-ish stuff?" Campingish wasn't even a word. Oh well, she'd get the idea. Now that she thought of it, her lack of knowledge of camping would probably include relying on the bubblegum's familiarity of the activity. Yay.

IC; Scout scoffed lightly,"Well of course I care, my dream job is to be a forensic scientist for the NCIS, that will be quite difficult if I was an idiot," she smiled slightly at the fact that the other girl was ow looking at her, and also the fact that she was smiling. A very cute smile. Brayden seemed to hold a little respect for Scout, which the girl found very intresting. Respect was not really a thing shared between the groups. They just plain hated each other.

Scout noticed that the other girl seemed to be noticing her, looking at her weirdly, but then she looked away and coughed,"Wait do I have something on my face?" Scout asked while scrubbing at her mouth with her sleeve, wiping off her dark lipstick in the process. Scout had stopped scrubbing at her face and had redone her lipstick when she noticed the silence but then the other girl asked her the question,"Well like you so cutely pointed out, i'm not the camping type. So no I have no clue what i'm doing."

  • Patricia giggled at Allison's reaction. Honestly it wasn't the kind of reaction she was expecting, she thought Allison would have struck her with the back of her hand or did something else to physically hurt her. "Aww, you're so cute when you blush. That shade of red really suits you." Patricia teased. "And campingish isn't a word darling. But yes, I do know a lot about counting so you can relay on me for anything you can't seem to do." Patricia actually looked forward to spending sometime with Allison, but she wasn't going to get too comfortable around her. Allison is still a liquor and liquors shouldn't be trusted.

  • Allison gave her a half-hearted glare, but nodded in understanding.
    God God God God God!
She was pissing her off in this unexplainable way. It was like, she was irritated over how she was treating her, yet it was like it didn't bother Allison too much.
    No wait..
    God, this was so confusing.
    SCREW IT!
"God, you bubblegums really know how to piss me off." she finally utters, "At least you, anyway."
It came harsher than it should have. There was no way this whole thing would go well. No way..
Allison sighs, not knowing anything she's feeling at the moment.
X urge is strong. She'll continue to fight it, for her own sake.
"But I guess you've insured my life for the next [insert number of days bc I'm not sure how long atm cx]." she says sarcastically, with her signature smirk. It was almost like a boyish grin, but it worked for Allison, "Camping is uh.. foreign, I guess you could say, to me." she adds. Lots of things other children got to do were foreign to her. She literally didn't know how to ride a bike until 15 when her foster brother and his friends were biking to a party and Allison sort of self-taught herself - successfully ditching possible humiliation. She was still proud of that one.

  • Patricia rolled her eyes. I won't dignify that with an ignorant response. That's what they want, to see you angry or hurt. Patricia nodded as she placed the tent in her leather bag and folded her arms over her chest. "Camping is foreign to me too, well not anymore. People rarely going camping in Japan unless they're waiting outside of a new video game or something." Patricia leaned against Allison and gazed up at her. She realized how short she was compared to Allison. "For a liquor you have pretty eyes. Like you don't have bags or dark rings under them."

  • (sorry guys, i have my taekwondo advanced blue belt tests yesterday and today so I'm going to try to post after them, wish me luck!)

  • "Hm?" she looks down at Patricia. Patricia was shorter than Allison thought she'd be. "Oh.. thanks." she says lazily. She can't stop looking down at her now, "You're so short!" she says amusingly, "It's hilarious!"
she smirks. Allison pretends to tower over her even more, although she was doing a pretty great job of it already unknowingly. Now that she thought of it, she looked kind of like doll.

//low, and also, are we just standing near campgrounds or can we start setting up now? lol,

  • Ooc sorry for being inactive, I got crazy busy

    Ic
Patricia rolled her eyes and lightly pushed Allison, but in a playful way. "That's not funny. I'm only this short because I'm Asian and stop trying to tower over me, your big head is blocking the sun." Patricia smiled a little and began to set up the tent. She still couldn't get over the fact that Allison didn't know how to pitch a tent, since it seemed like a majority of liquors could pitch a tent.

  • "Pshh."

She held up what looked to her like a metal stick connected to other metal sticks and also attached to the material she guessed was the tents outer covering. "Where the h.ll does this even go?" she says, "I at least wanna know how this complicated thing links together. Incase you die and the tent comes apart, it would be helpful." she adds in jokingly. As she examines the tent pieces she notices her finger bleeding from the nail. She winces from the tiny sting of pain it created, but decided it would be best to just ignore it like always. Alison had a terrible habit of biting her nails - some to the point of bleeding. She then took the hand with the bleeding nail off the tent piece and shoved it in her pocket.

ooc; tbh i missed this thread a lot. cx YAY WE'RE ALL BACK.
