Captivating chocolate-brown eyes are indeed that, captivating. Beginning a dark brown, borderline black around his pupils, and also at the outer rims of his irises, the shade and colour change drastically travelling inward, reaching a shade of light brown. Very faint gold-like flecks brighten the constantly brooding brown shade of his eyes, but are only seen in certain lights.
Hair Colour
It's just as well that his locks don an almost matching, chocolate-brown shade, as if to make links with other aspects of his appearance. Light brown hair, with natural, very indistinct blonde highlights, decorates Jamie's crown, usually in its quiffed and slightly-messy glory. As his presence demands to be noticed, his hair demands to be ruffled.

History
Jamie was orphaned in childhood. Rough, yeah. It was shortly after his eighth birthday, that his parents' car collided with an irresponsible oil tanker, and their lives were taken. Jamie, of course, wasn't present when the accident took place, and being at such a young age, wasn't quite able to comprehend it either. It wasn't until he was thrown into an orphanage, that the death of his parents became real, that he was abruptly met with the brick wall of reality.

He was adopted into a wealthy family of just three, new adopted Father, Mother and older brother. One would have to wonder, however, why the State Seantor would decide to adopt, with a child of his own, a son even, and a fertile wife. It turns out that Jamie's Mother had been pregnant when she met the man Jamie would grow up calling 'Dad'. Pregnant for the man that would, one day, be State Senator.

Jamie's biological Father had been keeping tabs on his Mother since he'd left, knowledge of their unborn child bringing endless guilt. When he found out about the accident, he insisted his family adopt the child, feeling it was his 'second chance'. When Jamie turned sixteen, his Father told him, after which argument after argument followed. But there was nothing the boy could do.
It was the truth.
Personality
It becomes clear, almost instantly after initially meeting Jamie, that he is very much an introverted individual. He tends to keep to himself, and is often pegged as the mysterious type in cases where his persona is still undiscovered. The boy is of the sort, that catches ones eye not because he is all over the place, but purely the opposite, his near ominous and mysterious yet impressive and alluring air, being rather difficult to miss.

It's unbelievably difficult to get to know this guys, and even more difficult to get him to show any affection, whatsoever, toward you. Though if that's accomplished, he's just the person you need, with his ridiculously contagious laughter and his adorable smile he's so insecure about. The boy is constantly trying to cheer others up, as he finds it easier than trying to cheer himself up. Once comfortable around someone, he chuckles at the smallest of things, either with the intention of boosting a friend's spirits or to distract himself from his true feelings.

Jamie sports a nonchalant attitude toward most things in his life, choosing not to live in the past, but ignore it, and move onto the next chapter of his life. Always moving, and ignoring. always.
It all stems from the disbelief in his ability to compose himself under pressured situations, continuously thinking that instead of buckling and failing, he'd rather not even try.

Despite all the faults and flaws, the weaknesses of his being, Jamie is truly a caring soul, though it may be difficult for him to admit in the hopes of avoiding any awkwardness that may arise. He is a loving soul in an ever-hardened shell, a protective façade shielding him from the dangers and disappointments of the outside world. The boy is extremely loving, though only to those he hold dear to his heart.
