"I'm not hungry, thanks," I said in an unamused tone, ignoring his answer to avoid agreeing with him.
Stepping diagonal from him, I took my seat in a recliner, and glanced at the television, and then at him.
"How long are you determining that my car will be in the shop? "
My bun was uncomfortably loose, and without a mirror, I didn't bother to fix it. Instead, I let it spill out over my shoulders.
I leaned my head back, staring up at the ceiling, crossing one leg over the other. I then finally realized I was without shoes.
"Did I um... Was I not wearing shoes last night?"
