((Absolutely fine.
(I LOVE THE PONDS HEHEHEHE) Ahem. *clears throat*So I'm assuming that the Doctor has dropped them off somewhere for now, or they're living their normal lives or whatever, yes?))
"Hmm. That's a new one," the Doctor answered, "I think. I might've forgotten. That happens a lot. Sometimes. Maybe." He shook his head like a wet dog, clearing it of his rambling, before moving around the console, flipping a few more switches and typing something into the typewriter that was attached. "Aaaand there," he said, finishing his work off with a final press of a button. The screen quickly pulled up a picture of Lucy, and began its analysis. "That should do it."
-
[ Yes, dropped off, I'm thinking. ]
Lucy watched the screen as it pulled up a picture of herself and seemed to begin an analysis. She furrowed her eyebrows in a slightly confused manner, before looking towards the Timelord and asking, "What exactly do you want the. . TARDIS to read?" The girls asked, looking back towards the screen,
"Does it have anything to do with the Scanny Thingy. The um..." She paused, snapping her fingers as she thought, "Sonic Screwdriver."
-
((Sounds good to me.))
The Doctor paused for a moment, figuring out how to put his thoughts into words. "I don't know how or why, but for some reason you've got traces of alien tech on you. Like. . . like a scent, or cat hair, how it sticks to you even after you've left. I'm trying to find out what it is and why you have it. And with the TARDIS databanks, it shouldn't be too difficult." He explained, spinning around to face Lucy and gesturing with his hands as he spoke. "Does that help at all? Or am I pointlessly rambling? Apparently I do that a lot, according to Amy. I can't blame her, though. She's probably right. Though she should've seen my last face, oh did I have a gob."
-
"It makes sense," Lucy replied, "Yet you were pointlessly rambling towards the end." The grin broke out on her face again as she said this. "Who is Amy?" The girl inquired, placing her hands on her hips as she focused on the screen, yet still waited to hear the Timelords reply, "And what is your name?"
[Sorry It's so short. I need to take a shower for my middle school meeting.]

Tracking. This is awesome. I feel like I am actually watching an episode of Doctor Who! I love Lucy (see what I did there?) and Dragons, you play an excellent Eleven. Never give up on this. *poofs away*)
-
[ xD Awesome. Thank you! Track all you want. ]
-
((Aww, thanks Jadence! :) Please, track away.
And no problem, Kitty (should I call you that?) - I had to rush off with that last post myself.))
The Doctor deflated somewhat, having another person admit to his rambling, but he quickly recovered to answer Lucy's questions. "Amy's my companion," he explained, "She and Rory wanted some 'alone time', so I dropped them off for a little bit." The time lord looked up from the console at Lucy, a small grin on his face. "And I'm the Doctor." He could almost hear the question before it was even asked. Doctor who?
-
[ Could you say Little Kitty? My older sister on here is Kitty.
I'm having a peanut butter and onion sandwich xD ]
"Doctor?"Lucy questioned, a look of confusion glazed in her eyes, "Doctor who?"
No last name or first name? Strange. She's never heard any type of Doctor without a first or last name. "You're a doctor?" It was obvious the girl named Lucy was confused, and over a simple name. Lucy placed her hands in her pockets, feeling that the paper was still I her pocket, along with the watch. Should she show the watch to him? He knew about the blue box, so would e know about the golden watch she has been curious about for too long?
-
((Okay. No prob. :)
I've never heard of that before. Is it any good?))
A wide grin broke out on the Doctor's face at the question. "Just the Doctor," he replied, his smile evident in his voice. "Of a lot of things," he continued. "Nothing specific, really." He opened his mouth to go on to list some of them, when a voice announced, "Analysis complete." The Doctor spun the screen around towards them, examining the results.
ANALYSIS RESULTS
NON-HUMAN TECHNOLOGY: TWO TRACESOrigin: Gallifrey.
Class: Biological Conversion.
Status: Successful.Origin: Gallifrey.
Class: Memory Storage.
Status: . . . Unknown. The Doctor stopped. He blinked once, twice, and read the results again to make sure he had done so correctly. Then he turned to the girl beside him.
"Lucy, I need to ask you a very important question right now. And I need you to answer me, alright? It's very important, incredibly important.
Do you know what a fobwatch is?"
((I loved the idea of the fobwatch not opening, so I hope you don't mind if I play with that? I think it's brilliant. :) ))
-
[ It is good! xD I think. It tastes weird, but it's good. ]
Lucy read the results, a look of confusion written on her expression. The girl opened her mouth to ask a question -- "What's Gallifrry?" -- Until the Doctor spoke once more.
A fobwatch? The object sounded familiar, could it be the watch part? Lucy clasped her hands around the golden trinket which was placed in her right pocket. She pulled the closed watch out of her pocket and looked down at for a mere second, before looking up at the Doctor, "This?"
-
((Hmm. Is it worth a try?))
The Doctor quickly snatched it out of her hands, fumbling with it as he looked it over. It was a simple, golden pocket watch, with an intricate pattern of circles on the front. To most, it would seem just a decoration. To the Doctor, though. . . it was a language. A very familiar one: Circular Gallifreyan. He looked up at Lucy, studying her intently for a moment.
"Lucy," he said slowly, his mind racing with possibilities and explanations, "Where did you get this?"
((Out of curiosity, what is Lucy's (assuming she is a Time Lady) Time Lady name/title? Do you have one yet?))
-
[ I don't know... My friend tried it and threw up xD Her Time-Lady name is The Weacer.... Or Kalypso... xD. ]
"I don't remember." Lucy answered his question, before going on, "I woke up with it on my nightstand. I tried to open it, yet it wouldn't" The girl scracted the back of her head as she looked down towards her shoes.
The Doctor seemed to take an interest -- Was that the right word to use at the moment? -- in the Golden trinket with wierd patterns on it, as Lucy sees it.
But why?
-
((Hmm. . . maybe not. xD
Okay, cool. :) I like.))
Her answer surprised him. What did she mean, it wouldn't open? And how did she even see it - what about the perception filter? None of this made any sense. . .
The Doctor exhaled heavily, running a hand over his face as he thought. "Why?" he asked finally, taking Lucy's shoulders and looking her dead in the eye. "Why won't your fobwatch open? And why can you see it? You shouldn't unless something goes wrong the perception filter, or someone points it out or something but why can you? And how-how can it not open? That's not right either. . . Lucy, who are you?"
-
[Question... Am I getting the facts wrong? xD I haven't seen the fobwatch episode [Whatever the episode is called] In soooo long xD ]
-
((That was *checks episode list* Human Nature/The Family of Blood. And also Utopia (for the Master).
Actually, you are kind of a little bit. With the perception filter and the fobwatch not being able to open. But I didn't know you didn't mean that. xD I actually think the concept of the watch not opening is downright brilliant (MOFFAT ARE YOU LISTENING?) and was purposeful. If you want to stick to the facts, that's fine, but this is Doctor Who and the facts are never certain, and I think this is really clever and could be a lot of fun.))
-
[ If I were I make a mistake with the fobwatch, it is accidental! But really? IT'S A PARADOX! xD I don't know.. ]
-
((Whatever you want to do. But I really like this. Accidental ideas are sometimes the best. I've got a few ideas running through my head from before when I thought you were doing this on purpose, and I think they'd be a lot of fun to write out. But if you don't want to, that's fine.))
-
[ Alright! I think we should go with the accidental way. ]
Lucy furrowed her eyebrows, confused at what the Doctor was talking about. Why wouldn't she be able to see it? What is wrong with it not opening?
"I am Lucy Wagner." the girl explained, "I am Lucy Diane Wagner. I am her and no one else." Why did the Doctor ask who she was? Hadn't she been the same person of thirty minutes ago?
-
((YAY
I can tell you my idea(s) if you want, or if you just want to RP and see where we go.))((Oh, and by the way, I love Lucy's name. :) ))
The Doctor sighed through his nose, closing his eyes and gripping her shoulders a little tighter. How did you tell someone that everything they knew might be a lie? You couldn't just say it casually - it was earth-shattering. If he tried, he could remember how it felt during his last regeneration, when he became the human John Smith.
And, if he was lucky and the universe had pity, the girl before him had gone through a similar process.
Could he really not be alone anymore?
"Lucy. . ." he started, "I hate to say it, but I'm not sure that's entirely true."
