  • Newlyweds, Mika and Kirozaki, are happy together. Mika has always loved books. Kirozaki was a librarian, very widely known. He could easily find a book you wanted, no matter the age, the title, or stupidity. Even if you were just messing with Kirozaki, he could find that fake book. Until one day, Mika visits Kirozaki, her sister coming along. He has been acting really strange, rude to the children, being grumpy, and the weirdest... Not knowing where a book was.

Mika & Sister (Mika on right):

    Kirozaki:

The post was edited 1 time, last by ~Millennium Assassin~ ().

  • IC: Mika looked around the immense library, books towering over them like pillars of knowledge.
"Kirozaki!" she called out, not whispering since the library was closed on weekends, and it was Saturday," Kirozaki! Are you alright?"

His head popped out from behind one of the shelves.
"Welcome Mika and Mina," he said, walking around the shelves to them. His eyes were as vibrant as ever, almost glowing.
"Sorry, I was sorting some books. What has got you so worried?" he asked kindly, holding a few strange books in his hands. One was dusty and leathery, on the binding it has a strange red encrusted symbol. On another, it was a dark and old crimson, with the same symbol. The other two were just classics.

"You've been acting strange," Mika admitted," We wanted to check on you." She recognized that symbol, he always read books with that symbol. She was careful not to ask about it, because he always seemed angered when she showed concern of it. She took off her scarf, it was steaming inside the library in winter, but in summer it was the place to hang out.

"No, I'm just fine," he responded, walking over to the same chair he always sits in when he reads.

OOC: Okay, I have a good idea. Kirozaki could be a demon or something and the girls have to sort of battle off other demons or something. You dig?

  • k oh and mina is the short haired on right?

Mina glanced at him eyes narrowed. She was a body guard and had 'other' side jobs that she never told her family or friends about.

  • IC: Mika still wasn't giving up.
"Are you sure? Because Clarence told me you weren't yourself," she snapped.

He looked at her from his book.
"I told you I'm completely fine," he growled, staring into the fire then his book.

OOC: Judging by your description, I think she's be on the left. But ya, that should be her.

  • IC: Kirozaki continued to read in the warmth of the fire.

Mika played with her wedding ring and nodded towards her sister. She went off into the library reluctantly. Sure he was sometimes concealed... But... She went into the fantasy section, finding a section of books she really liked. She tripped over something under the carpet covering the wooden floor. Mika, out of curiousness, lifted that end of the carpet with revealed a large trap door.

    OOC:

  • Mina walked to her step-brother. "I will hurt you if you hurt her." she said her normal motherly voice now sharp and cold as steel. "And trust me Brother i can hurt you." she says.

  • IC: Kirozaki looked at her.
"Why would I hurt her if we have taken part in the ritual of becoming one through love, fear, and all possible emotions?" he asked calmly.

Mika forced the trap door open, it lead to a ladder to which she climbed down. In the chamber-like secondary library, she saw shelves of books with the same symbol. She took one from the shelf, and couldn't read any of it. It for sure wasn't any language she knew, even though she could learn one in a heartbeat. She stuck it back into it's slot and walked farther down the secondary library. There wasn't much light coming from the few lamps placed here and there, so she grabbed an oil lantern and lit it. Mika walked down a narrow hallway to come upon a room full of strange markings drawn on the walls, presumably in blood. Fear stricken but brave Mika walked inside, and in the middle of the large room there was one immense drawing with chalk. She outlined it in her mind and examined it, it resembled nothing from her studies either. She was still taking some classes for art in another school, and this resembled nothing. Neither in any other subject. At the other end of the drawing she saw a book on a stand, maybe you had to say some sort of incantation or something.
But why would Kirozaki hide something like this? His family has had this library since it's creation... Did he even know? she thought in horror, going up to the book. In large print it said," Sprich der Beschwörung und Größe erwartet Sie (say the incantation and greatness awaits you)." She looked at the strange words, even though most of it was in German, the incantation was not any language that's for sure.

    OOC:

  • mina glared. "Trust me i Know what you are." she said. "And if what ever you are doing ends up putting my sister in danger i will kill you."

  • IC: Kirozaki chuckled warmly, though there was some bitterness behind it.
"I pray she doesn't get hurt, let alone from me," he responded.

Mika read the incantation carefully, thinking it had no significance. She was very tempted to say it out loud, but what would be the point? She began to walk back down the hallway with the lantern in her hand, then paused. Something about that book drew her back to it... She went back with a smirk on her face.

    OOC:

  • "Oh?" she raised a brow. "I thought i have seen alot but a hell-spawn praying?" she shook her head smirking kindly but her eyes like daggers

  • IC: "Am I not allowed to at least pretend to be a human?" he asked, standing up from his chair in slight anger," I'd love for my wife to be happy." Then he flinched as he saw that the trap door was open from a distance. His face darkened.

Mika looked around for a moment, then began to read it. As she read it the storm outside began to brew and produce even more snow. She continued to read, then finally finished. The circle lit up in a blaze of crimson light, she covered her eyes and hid behind the stand with the book on top. The books and shelves toppled over onto the circle, and the light seemed to absorb it.

OOC: Do you watch Pewds? Lol random question.

  • IC: The light glowed brighter, and seemed to pull everything in. Mika was pulled in after the stand. She screamed for Mina and Kirozaki. It pulled her arm in, then her torso... She struggled to pull herself out.
    "Damn it!" she blurted.

Kirozaki followed Mina, knowing Mika, she would let her curiousness get the better of her.

OOC: Hm... I'll take that as a yes X3

  • IC: She reached out but something grabbed her right arm while her left held on.
"Something's got me!" She told her, tugging her arm. Mika looked down to see a strange human-looking but on fire creature. She worriedly tug her arm away, and it ripped through the jacket as she reached for her sister. The creature sank into the depths of what seemed like Hell itself.

Kirozaki growled, he kicked it away as it went for her legs again.
"Damn Imps!" He shouted. That's when he noticed that book on the edge of the opening and the floor. He went to retrieve it but that same Imp snatched it and scurried down.
"No, no!" He hissed, that's when the hole closed.

Mika lay breathless on the closed floor, looking at Mina and her husband.
"Kirozaki... Mina... Kiro... Zaki...." She called out with little breath. It was so hot, she tried to peel off her jacket.

    OOC:

  • mina ran to her younger twin and knelt by her then she turned to kirozaki. "You f*cking b*sterd! what the hell happened!" she yelled darkly grabbing her gun she has for her 'other' jobs

  • IC: Kirozaki frowned.
"I did nothing! It's your sister who read that book. It's hidden for a damn reason!" He growled but not too loudly," My father was a demon yes, but also a goddamn human!"

Mika sat up wearily, regaining focus.
"Your a demon..?" She asked," Mina... Please don't point a gun at him."

    OOC:
