    "He won't get bit," a voice chimed in, "I'll be keeping an eye out overhead. Don't worry." Echo had been silent up until this point in the conversation, volunteering to go simply by giving a nod to the guildmaster when he mentioned sending out a party to fight. She brushed a wingtip against the earring she wore.
    We'll beat them together, Lewis. You'll be watching my back, and I'll stay strong, Echo thought to herself. Few of the guild-members still remembered Lewis, and if they did they chose not to speak about him. She half wished they did though, having someone else that remembered him would ease the burden, couldn't they see that!? No, she couldn't get worked up. Not now. Not here. She'd keep her cool in this mess, and they'd be okay.

    Abigail nodded use flamethrower Arthur please just use it... she begged to her brother in her head, hoping her brother would use his common sense and use his best move. She remembered what Arthur said when he found out what they were that was outside, 'when all of this is over we'll go see mom and dad back home...ok Abigail? she smiled at remembering his words.

    ic: Levi took a single step away from Abigail, then decided it was safe to move. He looked at the group assembled by the Guildmaster—the two Fire-types, a Noibat, and Nate. Only Echo, the Leafeon noted, didn't have someone who'd be waiting safely within the walls of the guild for her return.
    He decided to avoid reflecting on that. The idea of those four returning seemed far away, even though they hadn't left yet. Besides, this wasn't helping his nerves. Instead, he moved his gaze elsewhere; it settled on Blaze.

    Echo took in the relative abilities of the three Pokemon who'd be accompanying her out. Nate seemed like he could handle himself and he usually didn't like assistance that wasn't asked for, so she decided to keep the brunt of her attention on the two fire-types. They both had someone depending on their safe return and Nate was a valuable member of the Guild, so Echo promised herself she'd make sure all of them made it back safe.
    "Let me go out first," she stated, looking at the window outside. "I can use Screech to lower their defenses without doing the same to any of you and after I'll stay overhead as scout and support." Her tone made for little room for arguing, and she didn't stay facing them to see if any would object. She instead turned her attention to the other guild-members who had chosen to stay behind. How many of them would still be here by the end of this madness, if it ever ended. She shook her head once to rid her mind of the thought. There was always a way to finish things.

    ic: Nate took a deep breath and let it out with all the speed of a Snorlax. Echo clearly meant business; if her tone wasn't enough to prove that, the words themselves did. And a certain Mareep wasn't one to argue. "All right," he said a good five seconds after she'd turned around. "I'll see how well they can handle ThunderShock." Which sounded cool, but in all honesty, Nate wasn't sure it would be enough. There were a lot of enemies waiting, and he knew nothing about them.

    "I'll scorch them with some of my flamethrower" Arthur held his head high and smiled. He knew little about the creatures but there were plenty of books written about them. He closed his eyes and thought just let Abigail be safe...I don't care if I die...just let her be safe he sighed. The feminine looking Ninetails lifted his head and looked up at Echo "good luck Echo" he smiled.

    Mentally she slapped a smile on her face, trying to seem like her perky and cheerful self. The chimchar couldn't help but notice a pair of eyes staring at her. Turning around She noticed it was the Leafon.Don't be a stranger now, say something! "That was really nice if what you did for that Vulplix." Blaze complimented.



    "Whatever you say." Blitz yawned, clearly not taking the situation seriously. "As long as there's heads for me to bash." He'd go out using Firespin, the to add some flare by using ember.

    Echo noted Nate's unease and reconsidered her plans. She keep her eyes on all three of them. Being that they were zombies, Echo doubted that even winged ones would still be able to fly. This gave her an advantage and a burden. Since the was safe in the air she wouldn't really have to worry about being attacked. She would, however, have to do whatever she could to keep the others safe. I'll fight any opponent that threatens others, just like you would have, Lewis, she thought, glancing at Wigglytuff to see if they were ready to send them out.
    ((If Blaze is going to get bitten how about it happens when some Zombie-mon that can still fly knock Echo out of the air. No biting, just bruises))

    ic: "It was?" Levi sounded surprised for a mere moment. "Uh, thanks," he said quickly. "I, um...I really hope it turns out all right." Stupid, but at least it stopped him from stuttering. He wanted to say something inspiring, something like "Of course it'll turn out all right, what's the worst that could happen?" but he didn't believe it himself.
    Nate followed Echo's gaze to the Guildmaster. His anxiety was mounting higher by the second. He was going to protect the guild. They did him a favor, and he was planning on returning it. But would he come back? That was the problem, the thing that worried him. That and the food shortages likely in his future. Guild food was delicious.

    Abigail quickly ran through the crowd and up to her brother, burying her face in his fur "you better come back Arthur..." She whimpered and looked up at him "I swear I will kill you if you die" she growled, she didn't realize the silliness of her words but it was the truth. Arthur chuckled and nuzzled his little sister "don't worry Abigail...I will be ok" he whispered.

    But just so I get an understanding, a Zombie-Mon mocks echo out if air, bruising her. Though in the process blitz is bitten?)


    "I'm sure everything will go just fine. All we need is just little hope and faith." Although it as if she really believed the words she uttered, that was in fact not the case. Deep in within behind the massive anxiety and panic, there was a hint of doubt...Not small not large, just a hint. Blaze New far too well what was going to happen out there. And she knew someone would get hurt.. She just hoped it wouldn't be her brother.. Selfish wish it was, the Chimchar had to admit that, though she decided to lock away these thoughts and hope for the best.


    Blitz grinned wildely, almost thrilled to meet the monsters that were currently knocking at their door. He continued to ignore the fact of how dangerous these so called "monsters" were.

    ic: Hope. Faith. The two things Levi currently had in very short supply. But if Blaze could be optimistic, if only on the outside, he could do it. The Leafeon smiled in a forced way and turned his head so he could see the party headed for outside. What he would give for this to be over...
    That was when it hit him. They weren't going to dispose of the danger in a single mission. There would be more parties sent out for supplies, for defense...It wasn't going to end when Echo, Arthur, Nate, and Blitz made it back to the guild. And for any one of them, it might end in death. Or, even worse, becoming a zombie.
    Now was not the time for this. Levi hurriedly put the smile back up to chase the thoughts away.

    OOC: I was thinking more of slowly, awkwardly flying zombimon appear and knock Echo out of the air before when she had her back turned so she couldn't warn Blitz that one was sneaking up behind him (or whatever you decide) and he gets bitten.

Her ears were low and she sat down "I will kill him if he becomes one of those things..." She mumbled looking at her paws.

    ic: Had this been a happier moment, he would have made a joke. Given the current circumstances, that...well, it would have been bad. "That makes two of us." Though Levi had an entirely different reason. Because if Arthur didn't make it, there was no way...Okay, bad thoughts.
