So I made this character for a Traditional TC adoption board, then disappeared off the face of the earth for a while. Back now, but the traditional board is gone and I still kinda have muses for this character, enough that i'd like to try him out on the main boards.
The plot is that a young ThunderClan couple is having kits for the first time, and their first two kits die shortly after birth. The father, overcome with worry for his mate and the rest of their unborn kits, he bolts from the nursery in a panic and wanders out of camp. He walks to clear his head, and by the time he realizes he's overreacting and he really should be with his mate while she's kitting, he finds he's gone all the way to the WindClan border. He's about to leave but he makes a shocking discovery: two very young kits, seemingly abandoned and alone. Without thinking, he decides to bring them back to ThunderClan with him and sneaks them in the nursery. By the time he returns, his mate has given birth to two healthy kits. The two decide to bury their dead kits in private and raise the abandoned kits in their place. The truth about their adopted kits is known only by their parents, not even by the kits themselves.
As for where the abandoned kits came from and who their real parents are, anyone who'd like to join in this plot is welcome to contribute ideas. If someone would like to play their real parents, you're welcome to apply for both or one of those, too! In the old Traditional TC plot, the kits were from WindClan, but since i'm kind of redoing the whole thing with Lightstep, they can be from wherever you want.
Slots
My character is one of the adopted kits, and i'm opening slots for his adoptive parents; his biological sibling, the other abandoned kit; and his two adoptive siblings, who are the biological children of his adoptive parents. Not gonna be too picky with names and appearances, but i'd prefer somewhat traditional names and realistic coats and they should all look enough alike that they can pass as related and have at least some attributes of a true ThunderClan cat. We'll start roleplaying them as apprentices, but they should have their future warrior names already chosen. I might be a little picky with roleplay skill, and i'd really like it if you can make a few sentences a post or at least have good spelling, grammar, capitalization, and punctuation. That being said, slots are not first-come-first-serve!
Each person can apply for two slots each, and if any are left over, i'll play them!

-
- Cat's Names:
- Gender:
- Clan: Should be ThunderClan unless you're trying for the adopted kits' true parent(s), then it can be anywhere.
- Appearance: At least a short description is needed even if you have an image.
- Personality:
- History/Future: You can skip this part if you want to, unless you're trying for the adopted kits' true parent(s). The true parents will need some kind of history, maybe hinting as to why they abandoned their kits, and for the kits and adopted parents you can put some ideas for future events that could happen to them in roleplays, like ideas for the plot or a plan for an injury.
- Roleplay Example:
Accepted Characters
Lightstep
Adopted kit.
Player Nickname: Moss.
Activity Level: 6/10. I'm getting back into the site after being inactive, but not gonna lie, there's always a chance I could lose interest and disappear again. I won't if we get a good roleplay going, though!
Muse Level: 8/10. Really excited about this character, only thing i'm not sure about is where he came from since i'm leaving that to be decided after his family gets players.

Cat's Names: Lightkit - Lightpaw - Lightstep
Gender: Tom.
Clan: ThunderClan.
Appearance: Lightstep is a white tom with a black tail, black patches on his back, and black ears with some striping on his head. He has a black dash on the left side of his nose and a black spot on his right jowl. He's a thin, tall tom with a light, lithe build and short, thin fur. His eyes are yellow and take on different shades in different settings; a more intense yellow in sunlight to a very pale, almost white yellow at night. They appear greyish when there's cloudy weather or rain.
Personality: Lightstep is soft-spoken. It's not that he doesn't talk much or doesn't have anything to say, it's just that when he speaks, he's very quiet, and he words things gently and with tact. He's literally a soft speaker, in both tone and words. He's a good warrior, brave and clever, and his practiced ability to move about silently that gave him his warrior name comes in handy often. But he's wistful and curious, often a daydreamer, and it's his desire to discover the unknown that drives him in everything he does. He's sufficiently loyal to the clan he was raised in, but ultimately his interests are more valuable to him than his place in ThunderClan.
History/Future: His history is the same as his siblings, of course, having been raised in ThunderClan with no knowledge of the truth about having been adopted. I'm voting him Most Likely to take an interest in his parents' secrets, and he'll probably do some travelling in his adulthood but I don't have any specific plans for him just yet.
Roleplay Example: I'm gonna be lazy and grab the example I originally used for his adoption sheet, so this is about four months old ahaha.
"This is your first time outside of the nursery, my kits." Lightkit's mother cooed. "Take it all in." The young queen led the way into the clearing and slowly, at their own paces, her four kits followed behind. Lightkit came first, his golden eyes shining in the dappled light that filtered down over the camp, though he had to stop short and blink it away for a moment while he adjusted, having been used to the warm darkness of the nursery for so long. When they did adjust, he found himself overcome again, not by the brightness, but by the myriad of new sights laid out before him. He swept his gaze slowly over the clearing, his ear turning backwards to acknowledge his siblings that had now followed suit. He noticed his father eating with the other warriors, and could tell that he was watching them, his eyes full of pride. Lightkit took small steps across the soft ground, eager to fulfill his curiosity, and opened his mouth to catch a scent unlike anything he'd ever encountered before. He followed it to a well-worn space in the bracken wall. The main entrance to camp. "Lightkit, where are you going?" he heard his mother call, her voice getting closer through the sentence as she approached him. "Please stay close to the nursery, son, there'll be plenty other times to explore farther. I don't know what i'd do if I lost you." Lightkit turned around and saw something different in her eyes with the last thing she said. She shook her head, bent down to give her child a quick lick, then walked along side him back towards the nursery.
Ebony Way
Biological mother of Lightstep and his sibling.
Player Nickname: Patchtail
Activity Level: 6/10 on average - I was inactive (except as a geneticist) for a while but I think I'm getting back into WCRPG.
Muse Level: 8/10 at current. It was very low for a while but then yesterday suddenly returned. I have no idea how long this is going to last but I'm hoping it'll stay for a while.

Cat's Names: Ebony Way
Gender: Female
Clan: None - she's a wandering loner.
Appearance: Scarred tortoiseshell longhair with white tailtip (smaller amount of white than in the avatar picture, basically just a few hairs at the tip) and locket, and dark orange eyes. She is a pedigree British Longhair, so is large for a she-cat, with a roundish face and cobby body.
Personality: Ebony is reckless, fearless, caustic, and - although she may be angry, annoyed, or miserable at any given time - on the whole, happy with her risky, ridiculous life. She lives life without regrets, but also without foresight, meaning that she has often had one-night-stands without worrying about the kits that end up happening two months down the line; and she has gotten into fights (especially when high on catnip) just to flee when it becomes obvious that she's outmatched. However, she treats her kits as well as she knows how - including giving them away or outright leaving them where she knows they will be cared for better than she can provide - and she's loyal to anyone she considers a friend, although she won't give up her traveling life for anyone. Despite her tendency to get in fights, she's typically well-disposed towards others and doesn't mean most of what she says to be taken personally. The only people she truly despises are forcers, torturers, cannibals, and anyone who uses peer pressure, drugs, or mental powers to make others do things against their nature; these are the only people she will fight to kill.
History/Future: Ebony was born an adventurous kittypet, who, at the age of six moons: figured out how to open a screen door, escaped, picked three fights, got pregnant by two toms, was found by her housefolk and brought back, had a colossal argument with her mother, escaped again a few weeks later, and never looked back.
That really set the tone for the rest of her life from that point onward.
Eb is now five years and three months old. Since beginning her life as a rogue, she has had at least six litters (most of which she gave away to their fathers or to various Clans), innumerable fights, and many death-defying adventures.
This litter (if she's accepted), depending on the personality and allegiance of the father, could either be a one-night-stand litter, a friends-with-benefits litter, or a short-term-relationship-that-Ebony-thinks-is-friends-with-benefits-and-is-unaware-that-the-father-thinks-differently litter.
Since Eb wanders pretty randomly, it's totally realistic for her to wander back in the direction of ThunderClan, so if any of the kit-RPers want there could be future interactions between her and them, unaware of their family relation.
Roleplay Example:
Where there was loud music without obvious Twolegs nearby, Ebony would certainly investigate. Especially with the distant yowl of "party" she could distinguish above the music.
The longhaired tortoiseshell wandered into the building, seeing no one.
"Aw, am I early?" she muttered, slightly annoyed. "Never be early to a party. Fashionably late, that's best."
Daturine Ecuador-Erebus, stunningly, was not late. The two-moon-old servical had been nearby enough to hear, and had skittered over immediately without getting lost on the way.
Actually, in her young life, Daturine hadn't had much chance to be late to things, let alone make such a habit of it that being one of the first to arrive to a meeting shocked her, and she had a fairly good sense of direction. But somehow, it felt like that was her "normal" - going the wrong direction, getting hopelessly lost, showing up half an hour late to train, missing important announcements.
She had absolutely no idea why that would be, but she didn't think about it too much. She was only two moons old, after all.
