"Really? Thanks. I've been trying to find her for a while... She's the only other person from my family that I think is still alive." Xandria said. She pulled her hair in front of her shoulders and put the hood of her jacket up. "I think she's still alive... She should be, I know she's not stupid and she's better at protecting herself than I am."

Vladimir stood up, "We'll start searching tomorrow." He grapped his gun and slung it over his shoulder. "This apartment is secure, you can rest here. I'll search the other apartments and bring back any thing I find handy." He left before Xandria got to object. He closed the door behind him, he wasn't sure why he just felt he need to. From the corner of his eye he saw Raven. He looked down at the kid, cocking his eyebrow. Waiting for Raven to react first.
-
Xandria sighed. "I could have gone with him." She muttered. She stood up and looked around the room. "I could move some stuffaround.." She said to herself. Xandria walked over to a couch and pushed it up against the wall aand into a corner. "Maybe it's a pull out couch.." Xandria found a place where it could pull out and tried it, it worked. "So that's one bed down." Xandria smiled. She found a little chair and pushed it in a little corner across the room. "I can sleep in this chair.." She muttered.

Raven stood stalk-still slowly reaching for her sword, but she knew it would be way too obvious. So, while she seemed to be reaching for her sword, she was really reaching for her pistol. Once she had it in her grasp, she quickly pulled it out and pointed it at the man, taking a few steps back. "I-I don't want to pull the trigger, but I will if I have to." she tightened her trigger finger just a little and took a few more steps back.
-
Stating calmly, "You'll be wasting a bullet, kid, I'm not a threat to you. Or I don't nean to be." He spread his arms outward before taking a step back. He sniggered softly, "I've been held at gunpoint many of times, but to be held by gunpoint by a teenager, thats new to me." He smiled hoping to change the mood.
-
Raven tilted her head and slowly put the gun away. She suddenly felt very small, but didn't let that faze her closed up and stone-faced mood. She just took another step back.
She felt her resolve starting to crack, but held it together by a hair width. Anything could break her resolve now, which she hated. -
Putting his arms at his sides he sighed when the gun was lowered away from him, "I think we started on a bad note. I am Vladimir." He introduced himself to Raven but of course he wasn't sure how friendly she would be, after all she did point a gun at him at pointblank range. Normaly he would shake habds with people he met but he was not going to take the risk of having a knife jammed in his arm. "So, you another survivor?"

IC: Raven nodded, then slowly and hesitantly held her hand out. "I'm Raven, its, uh...nice to meet you." she was not good with small talk, but would try anyways.
-
He smiled before shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you too, Raven." He studied the weaponry she had for a second, "Would you like to help me scavenge these apartments?" He wanted to see how she woukd use the weapons in case of a zombie or two.
-
Raven gave a small nod and put her hand on her sword hilt, waiting for Vladimir to make the first move.
-
He walked over to a door and turned the knob, it wasn't locked so the door swung open. He raised his gun as he entered the room. He didn't see anything at first sight so he ease up a little, "I think it's clear. Keep an eye open though."
-
Raven nodded and looked around the room. She saw a dresser in the corner of the room, slightly shadowed. She walked over to it and opened the top drawer. In it was a wallet, a small knife with a blood red gem on the hilt. "Well, there's a wallet and a knife in this drawer" she said as she looked in the other drawers. "Unless you want paper, there is really nothing else."
-
"Money is useless and knives aren't my thing." He said turning a corner and went into the bedroom. "Theres a gun cabinet." He walked over to it and broke the lock with his gun's stock. The metal door swung open and revealed the inside. "Nothing in it though." He did find a small box of pistol ammunition at the bottem. Walking out with the box in hand he read the caliber, "Nine millimeters."
-
Raven put the wallet and the knife in her bag. She liked knives and wanted to have at least something that will remind her of humans. She looked at him and nodded, then walked into the kitchen. "Lots of food in here."
