    ᴛʜᴇ ᴄɪᴛʏ ᴡᴀs ʙᴇᴀᴜᴛɪғᴜʟ, ᴡᴀsɴ'ᴛ ɪᴛ?


    New York City was the first city where the vaccine was introduced. Scientists claimed to have found the cure to HIV - and in all technicality, they did. Only it came with a catch. The vaccine made all those who were injected lost their memory within a week, turning them insane within a month. Crime rates were up higher than they'd ever been before. But nobody had known this before the vaccine was mass-produced, shipped world-wide, and almost everyone got the shots required. It was an epidemic - cities shut down, a sense of government no longer existed. Everyone was on their own.


    Until a group by the name of 'Shadows' rose to power. They recruited young, healthy, and physically fit males to join their group. Those who lived up to the standard they held were sent into a high-security to train in survival skills. Their original goal was to save the world. Now it's to murder off all of the weak.


    This is the world you live in.

    You don't belong to the Shadows, instead allying with a small group that has been here since the start. However, your life revolves around escaping from the group and also surviving the insane around you. But what happens when one of the group has been infected? Or when a traitor has been found out?


    The plot is basically this

    Jackson Bailey is a rather handsome fellow. He has beautiful brown eyes that are almost a slightly darker version of milk chocolate and in the sunlight seem to have a bit of green and hazel coloring in them. The skin that suits him is nicely tanned from spending almost all of his time outside when he could, running or just relaxing the day away. His build is very thin, his ribs visible through his skin, but his waist is also quite slender and curvy, a bit like a women's would be. His legs are the only thing that have been toned from running all those years, but it looks a bit strange with his muscular legs and his skinny, curvy body. The only other thing worth mentioning is his dark, dusty brown hair that coats his scalp. It's pretty dry and scraggly despite being brushed and taken care of on a daily basis, and it curls up when there is damp weather.

    courageous ;; Colin is afraid of few things. Although he isn't fearless, he works well under pressure and is an amazing strategist. When it comes to speaking his mind, he'll say as he pleases and won't care otherwise. Sometimes this can be annoying, even arrogant, though a lot of times he doesn't think about consequences. He's gone through many horrible times, and he doesn't believe it can get much worse. Instead of being scared, he will rush into things without thought. Some think he's brave, while others think he's an idiot.


    emotional ;; To start it off, Colin isn't emotional in a weak, sobbing way. Not even close. It's more of a thing that comes from childhood trauma. On the inside, he's a mess. While on the outside he can seem like a charmer, it's all a fluke. When he was younger he witnessed his mother's murder, which was a bit upsetting for the eight year old boy. Then the vaccine... Let's just say everything went wrong. Everyone he loved seemed to die, causing part of him to shatter, leaving a shell where his heart once was.


    thorough ;; When Colin does a job, he does it exact. He's a bit of a perfectionist, going over things hundreds of times. Never does he leave something untouched, looking for little details rather than the obvious. With him, everything must be accurate. He's very observant, with an excellent memory and keen eyes.


    stubborn ;; While Colin is usually friendly--to his friends, at least--he can be very hard to persuade. When he's doing something, you can't tell him otherwise. He's a rather determined young man, and won't let anyone wreck that.


    flirty ;; On the outside, when he's with people he actually likes, Colin can be outgoing and fun. A kindhearted person. He can also be quite the flirt, playing a charming smile and using cheesy--but all the same effective pick-up lines. When he's like this, he can somehow forget about the vaccine and how the world has collapsed, and be the boy he was before it all began. He is, too, an optimistic being, seeing the glass at half full rather than empty.


    loyal ;; As a Guard, Colin's duty is to protect the group. He'll risk his life for any of them, whether they want him to or not. Never would he tell a hurtful lie to any of them. He's a fairly trustworthy person, never giving away someone else's secret or purposely upset anyone he cares for.
