    Rievn nodded."Sounds good to me, Saphirepaw!"she purred.


    Tarren walked forward and waited for Saphirepaw.

    sapphirepaw heard kensei's call, and followed tarren to the front of the great oak. he couldn't believe he was gonna become a apprentice! he was exstatic.

    Tarren looked over at the young cat.My first apprentice!he thought.He smiled.

    "Tarren asked to mentor Saphirepaw, I believe he has much to teach the young tom." Kensei called out. "Saphirepaw you will learn much of our ways from Tarren." he finished.

    sapphirepaw was so ecited he couldn't speak, so he just nodded, and turned to see his mentor. he watched the amusement in his mentor's eyes.

    Tarren smiled.Thank you brother!he mouthed to Oni.He turned to his apprentice.


    Rievn looked up at her father.Who's the other new youngling?she wondered.

    ooc|Right now Kensei Oni is making Rievn Damae's second apprentice, and Tarren is now mentoring Saphirepaw.



    The wind had the smell of rain on it as far as Fenrir could tell.

    Shea'ira wimpered as her kits kicked restlessly inside her. They're coming... she thought. Oh, I need help... She let out a loud yowl, hoping somebody would hear. She was still fairly new to the clan, and wasn't sure of their ways. But one thing was certain: this was her first litter, and if she didn't have help, either she or her kits would die.

    sapphirepaw heard it again, and this time reacted." one minute. I have to tell kensei!" sapphirepaw quickly padded over to kensei, and told him what he heard," kensei..." he said in a pant,"Me, and fuji just heard a screech come from somewhere in the camp!"

    Maya woke up."What's wrong, Shea'ira?"she asked.She padded over to the other kit-bearer."Your kits?Just keep calm.I just had my first litter.You'll do fine!"she said calmly.She felt the she-cat's belly."Alright.I think you need to push now!"she told her.

    Her body jerked in violent spasms, and Shea'ira moaned, her energy already beginning to be depleted. She let out a small sigh of relief as Maya came over, but instantly hissed in pain. She pushed as Maya told her, and one of the kits slipped out, a calico tom.
