However, Itachi's second comment set her eyes ablaze with rage. "You bastard! What part of 'I'm not a morning person' do you not understand?" she yelled, her hands clenched into fists and she made a couple quick hand signs, gathering all her chakra into her core. "Water Release: Wild Water Wave!" she announced coldly as a large flood of water shot out of her mouth. It was almost as good as her cousin's. Almost. Rin worked well under pressure and anger.

Sighing, Rin glanced skyward, scanning the clouds for any hidden clones, then she glanced left and right. Where was he? Then it hit her. Turning around, Rin spotted Itachi. Oh, crap. I won't be able to move fast enough.

"katon:fireball jutsu!" the shadow clone exhales, a large ball of fire spilling out of his mouth. the real itachi, a smirk plastered to his face, turns behind a tree as rin is distracted by his shadow clone. he blinks, his sharingan coming into place. if she can beat my shadow clone, he thinks, she can learn something more powerful. Oh, yes, her kekkai genkai is called Ice Release. Since this kekkai genkai belongs to the Yuki clan, Rin obviously wouldn't have been able to use it if her mother, Satsuki Yuki, wasn't related to the Yuki clan. But, thankfully, since her mother was a descendant of the Yuki clan, Rin will be able to use Ice Release.]




    The gigantic fireball that was currently hurtling at her, snapped her to attention, forcing her legs to move. So, not wanting to become a fried delicacy, Rin happily obliged, step-siding quickly. However, though she managed to escape most of the fire, a small part of her arm had gotten slightly burned, due to her slow reflexes. Damn. Rin silently hissed, her pinkish-red eyes gleaming with excitement. She was a thrill seeker and loved exhilarating moments like this. Itachi is seriously amazing. she mused cheerfully, all remains of her anger were gone. But, in order to beat Itachi, Rin would have to use a jutsu from her kekkai genkai. Her second and last jutsu, Certain-Kill Ice Spears. Unfortunately, that was her worst jutsu. Which wasn't surprising, seeing as she learned the jutsu from her mother's journal. Whatever. It was definitely worth a shot. Biting her lower lip and taking a deep breath, Rin quickly made a couple hand signs, gathering all her chakra into her core. "Certain-Kill Ice Spears!" she recited. As she said this, tall ice spears shot out from the ground, hurtling towards the clone Itachi.

"Yay!" she cheered, pumping her fist in the air triumphantly five times before turning to Itachi. "Thanks," she replied with a wide grin. "Yeah, my mom was a descendant of the Yuki clan, so, yeah...the Ice Release. What about it?"
