  • ( Okay :) )

When she blew the wind, a burst of light filled the sky like fireworks, and bright, beautiful bits of light like stars fell gently, like a wonderful meteor shower you could touch.

  • Lily continued to watch the sunset, almost mesmerized my it. It always looked like a fiery orange ball, and it cheered her up from whatever was bothering her every time she looked at it. She felt warmth spread from her heart and tingled her body, but it wasn't her fire.

  • Kazumi took a deep breath as she took the journal in her hands. She didn't want to have her snow cloud when she went to give the journal to Lily. It would be rude to have snow in front of the fire element. So, she'd just have to tough it out, hoping she wouldn't overheat. She decided to take her pet snow hare, Turret, along with her. Turret always made her feel better. Gathering Turret and putting him on her shoulder, she began to walk to the field.

  • Lily turned to look at what she destroyed. That made her even happier to see that she demolished another part of nature. She knew it was going to grow back someday, and when it did, she would suffocate it once more. She started to walk in the direction of her volcano. She lived in the heart of it, and she swam in the lava there like her own jacuzzi. Her volcano was highly eruptive, so that meant the magma there was always bubbling with extra heat. She lived right next to the pool, with red-hot lava rocks as her bed. Her home was kept at a steaming 1300ºF, just hot enough for her liking. She warmed it up even more during the coldest of winters, though. She kept the farthest away from the elements as possible, because she didn't want them to get hurt by her heat, and when the volcano erupted, it was like Mt. Saint Helens all over again.

  • "Hey, wait." The shy winter element finally reached the field and stopped her by putting a hand on her shoulder. Big mistake. Since she was a winter element, Lily's hot skin burned her, leaving a red and almost bloody mark on her pale white skin. Turret tried to help by liking it. Lily towered over her, so Kazumi had to stretch her neck back to look her in the eye. She wiped some sweat from her forehead, the hot weather almost killing her. But she couldn't summon her usual winter cloud in front of the fire element. That would be rude. She twiddled her thumbs shyly. "I-I have something for you."

  • Beam giggled as she shifted the suns beams. One of her favorite activities was to use her light beams to draw things in the ground. Right now, she was drawing a gazelle, her favorite animal.

  • Lily winced as Kazumi touched her shoulder. She felt the cold hand sizzle on top of her skin and felt Kazumi pull back quickly. She slowly turned around. "What do you want? Remember, no one should touch my skin. Instead, touch my clothes."

  • Kazumi stepped back due to nervousness and held Turret with one arm, the other behind her back shyly. She looked down, avoiding eye contact with the fire elemental girl. "S-sorry, but... um.... I, uh.... I have something."

  • "Well, what is it?! I don't have all day. Well, all night. I have to go to bed sometime," Lily felt her eyes flare up with flames but forced herself to calm down. She didn't want to hurt on of the fragile elements, but she would gladly hurt a human if one of them challenged her, no doubt.

  • She hugged her snow hare tighter, nervous and shy tears welling up in her eyes as she shakingly took the fresh, blank notebook in her arm and handing it to her. She was half expecting her not to except it and go off to her volcano, leaving Kazumi to sweat. "I-it's blank. I-I-I saw you writing in your book, a-and I thought you were out of paper, so... y-you know....."

  • Lily took the book daintily in her hands. Sure, she could be short-tempered and mean sometimes, but she loved reading and solving problems. "Thanks," was all she said before turning and hastily walking off to her volcano.

  • As soon as she left she made a little mini blizzard above her head, breathing a long sigh of relief before walking back to her little ice hollow, her snow cloud above her once more. She stopped in her tracks. She knew Lily was probably out of sight by now, but if she wasn't, she just wanted to have a little fun with her while Kane was gone and prove she considered her a friend, not an enemy just because their elements were almost polar opposites. Just to do that, she took her ice powers and froze some dead grass, then broke the ice roughly, causing the dead grass to crumble down, some patches disappearing, and look even worse than before. Then she headed back to her hollow to cool off.

  • After about a few minutes of walking, a very tall mountain began to appear. All the terrain around it was...flourished?! How could that be? Lily thought that she had just made the volcano erupted! Then a sickening thought came to mind. What if Kane was here and made a surprise for her? She clenched her fists and grit her teeth together. She drew in a deep sigh, trying to relax her body. That took a lot of energy to make a volcano erupt, she knew that for sure. She decided to ignore it and carried on through the fresh green grass.

  • Kane didn't like to harm people. He was gentle and calm, like the fresh earth. Even though he didn't really get along with Lily, he'd never do something to harm her or make her mad. After all, he respected her. Even though he knew she didn't quite respect him. Right now, he was in his wooden shack high above the trees. The wooden shack was filled with plants and animals, mostly wild tree climbing ones like monkeys or lemurs. A few sugar gliders were spotted here and there as well. The green-haired earth element was training with a punching bag. Sometimes he and Kazumi would practice together in brawls. Even though he was much bigger than her, Kazumi put up a good fight, as she was great at dodging and long ranged combat.

  • Lily walked up to the black rock entrance. Molten lava poured down its sides, making small glowing orange puddles by the opening. She felt heat blast her face when she strode in, but she was used to that. The black charred hallway opened up into a huge room with a small magma pool in the very center. Above the 'jacuzzi' was an hole open to light. That was the volcano hole at the top. It was like a skylight. She walked around the pool to her left where her red-hot rocky bed was. It was huge, king-sized she liked to think. Along the walls, there were bookshelves carved out that held hundreds of books. She had read most of them, but still had a few shelves left. She smiled to herself. This was home.

  • There was hardly any furniture in Kane's shack. There were only three punching bags, a small hammock which he slept on, and a small living chair. He liked to think of it as being one with the earth. Kane didn't need much sleep. About an hour or two was enough to keep him going. So, he stayed up late rescuing animals, training, spending time with the animals he already has, or just training. He continued to punch the bag, thorns growing from his knuckles as they always did when he fought.

  • Lily grabbed a random book from the nearest shelf near her and stripped down to her red and orange flaming bikini. She always wore a swimsuit under her clothes because she didn't have a place to store them. She stepped into her jacuzzi and opened her book, goosebumps running up and down her body.
