    Ruth steadily walked on the ship, her skin morphing back and forth and her anxiety rising. She never really liked small spaces, so why she signed up to be a mechanic she didn't know. Oh My God!! I'm so stupid! she thought as she gazed around, afraid someone would find out what she really was.

    Vixen smiled and shook Aina's hand. "I'm Vixen." She smiled warmly. So far, so good, she seemed to be making new friends.

    Aina noticed Ruth morphing and looked around to see if anyone else noticed "I'll be right back!" she said to Vixen giving a small wave before heading towards Ruth. She grabbed the older girls hand "Are you alright?" she whispered worriedly "We can step outside for a bit if you want."

    Aina narrowed her eyes at Ruth, obviously knowing that something was wrong. "If you say so.." she said hurt and apprehension emanating from her voice she pulled away from Ruth heading back Vixen, her tail dragging.


    Orion watched the small scene his eyes narrowed.

    "I guess we all have got secrets to hide." Vixen shrugged, trying to reassure her new friend. After all, it wasn't comfortable for Vixen to let anyone else know that her parents were different species. Perhaps this girl, Ruth, was the same way..."I'm going to go introduce myself to...Never mind."
    The girl she was about to approach was a wolf. Vixen was scared of canines, as was all kitsune. She stepped back nervously, back to Aina.

    "Yeah, I guess so.." she said glancing back at Ruth. Aina noticed the Vixen tense up, she looked over at Ookami and looked back her fox ear swiveling "Are you afraid of dogs?" she asked curiously.

    Aina hand the girl a bar noticing her look at Ookami "Don't worry about it were all crewmates now! She said giving an encouraging smile. "She wouldn't hurt you and if she did I'm sure Captian won't let it slide." she said taking another bite out of her bar.

    Ruth walked off towards a window, her back aching as her wings tried to push through and all of her clothes and her hair hiding some of the black scales covering her body. Yeah, I gotta get out of here! she thought and raced towards the exit and pushed her way out.

    Orion blinked giving a curt nod in greeting, taking another sip from his water bottle.


    Aina watched as Ruth left wanting to go after her but deciding not to. She turned away taking a couple more bites to finish off her bar.

    Ranma was over at the main console looking at all the nobs and levers and buttons. He mumbled incomprehendable words and chuckled a bit. Obviusly enjoying himself.


    Akane on the other hand was watching the whole group silently. Uncocisly taking in information about them all. She leaned against a window and glanced at Ranma. "Ug, brothers." She said quietly. They talk about secrets? Ranma has one of the funniest ones. Oh how I wish.

    Now that Vixen had gotten the acquaintance of Aina, she decided to go to someone else and introduce herself. She chose a boy who was playing with the controls. "Uh, hi. I'm Vixen." She bowed, smiling.

    Ranma glanced over surprised, he had gotten so wrapped up in the ship that he didn't notice the girl walk up to him. "Oh hi, my names Ranma saotome." He introduced himself and returned her bow. "So why did you sign up?"

    Kayne looked.around and watched everyone conversate . Most seemed to be getting along pretty well. He looked around for a seat but couldn't find one so he leaned back on a wall, hopefully not bumping into anyone again.

    "Nice to meet you, Soatome." Vixen bowed again. So many Japanese! And she knew precious little about their culture...Well, she'd have to learn. "And, I joined because I liked the idea, and I knew I'd be useful. I'm good at star-reading, but I do know a little magic." She smiled.
    "I really wanted to get up close and personal with even more magic." She admitted.

    The inside of the ship seemed as basic as it would come. Pat's attention shifted towards the storage room, and quickly made his way towards it. Once inside, he looked around where a good spot for his magic artifacts would be. But something got him rather worried. Did he properly sign up for the journey? If he didn't, he was gonna swim with the fishes tonight. Or anything that would eat him in the sky, either one was not an option. Finding a good hiding spot, the storage remained quiet. Not a single word was spoken by him.
