Not that this conversation that she was having with him wasn't nice or anything, but it didn't even start until after he had walked in on her. Yeah, she was pretty cure that this wasn't the right way to make friends, or at least it wasn't a good way to start a conversation.
Mina's goal when she first got here was to blend in and not be noticed. She knew that at one point she'd have to be put into a new foster home, so she thought that she could just save herself and others the heartbreak of leaving them. If she continued a friendship with Alex, she had a feeling that this sort of thing might be one to happen.
