• Usually Gravelstar didn't attack Clanmates, but this had gone too far and these two were in serious need of an attitude adjustment. She aimed a heavy, clawed blow for Rosepaw's ears, then aimed one for Flamepaw's. "Treat your superiours with respect, and don't you ever talk to my medicine cats like that. I want to meet with your mother right now and ask her just what she thought raising kits meant, because by the looks of you she obviously didn't do it right. Adjust your attitude right now, before I wipe those looks off your faces. You've got until the count of three. One..." She turned mid-"Two" when Juniperheart spoke.

"Take another step towards her and you'll see how fast these claws are," Gravelstar hissed to Rosepaw, flashing her claws. "Juniperheart, continue please."

• Flamepaw and Rosepaw flinched when Gravelstar's paw hit them on the ear.
Juniperheart had finally found the courage to speak the truth.
"These two aren't windclan at all," She began. "They're just Elite spies sent to carry out the Work of this cat they call Mello. And Brightflower's on their side. Smallflight and Raincloud were taken as prisoners for who knows what,"
Her eyes moved to Rosepaw, then to Flamepaw." And I don't think Rosepaw and Flamepaw are their real names,"
Rosepaw and Flamepaw were stultified. Both were now lost for words.

• SunFang bared his fangs in a snarl. "I knew something was off about you two, Alright talk where have they taken our comrades," he hissed, unsheathing his claws.

• "We're not sure," replied Rosepaw. She knew that it was likely that they were being held in the dungeon, but she didn't want to forfeit Capone's chance and her kits' chance of freedom. The least that she could do was to go back home and inform Brae or Theo.

• "Probably at their headquarters." Acidclaw growled, coming to sit near Juniperheart- close enough to protect her if someone attacked her.

• Rosepaw didn't want to outright admit that she and her brother wanted to rescue Capone. But she couldn't think of any good lies to tell them either.
"We just want Capone and her kits to be returned safely to us," admitted Flamepaw. "But seeing as you've clawed her eyes out, I don't think there is going to be a chance on the safe part."
Rosepaw froze. She feared that her brother was giving a bit too much away.
"But if you don't eventually let Capone return home, there's going to be a fight over it, right in this camp. And I don't think that you'll want kits involved, knowing that many of our bretheren are quite aggressive,"
continued Flamepaw.
Juniperheart narrowed her eyes. There was still a bit more that she needed to know.
"What about Brightflower?"

• "We know that, morons!" Robinsong spat, his green eyes bright with adrenaline. "We don't have bees for brains like you two!" His orange chest fur caught his eye, and he gave it two furious licks.

• SunFang aimed a sheathed claw to cuff both of the apprentices across the ears. "Enough! You two have caused enough damage, you're lucky to still be breathing right now. Why did you come to WindClan?" he hissed.

• "We effing told you already," Rosepaw hissed. "there's no more to it!"
She was growing more impatient by the moment. These dumb cats don't get it, do they? So dense!

• SunFang smirked, "I mean why did they send a couple of kits like you into the lion's den?" he meowed coldly.

• "It's not like that,"replied Rosepaw." It wasn't the doing of The Elite. In fact, no one really knows about it but a three of us, excluding the leader. Not even Capone knew we were coming. My brother and I were only sent by one cat to carry out his whims. Get it now?"

• Lightstream's eyes glinted maliciously. She wanted to sew their mouths together. "I'm pretty sure I get the whole story, no trouble," She meowed, bittersweet. She turned to her leader. "Doesn't that mean we have prisoners?"

• "So we capture your precious leader of your mission and the other cat who knows about it, then nobody back home will miss you." Acidclaw mused. "Not like we're gonna let you go and bring back your friends." He found their continual name-calling just immature and amateur.

• "Time for a 'time out'," Gravelstar meowed. Sure, she didn't want any more prisoners and her den was going be quite crowded, but she could just hold them there for a little while. It wasn't like they were important enough to barter with and they'd only be taking up space and mooching off WindClan's prey... She just wanted to question them before she let them go. "Let's round them up and put them in with Capone and the others. Then they can chat with her all they like. Once we find Brightflower I want her questioned and then chased out."
She turned to Juniperheart. "Thank you for telling me this, that took a lot of guts." It was clear to her now that they'd bullied her into helping them.

• Killjoy shivered. With all the fights breaking out, there were a lot of distractions. The thought of breaking out of their "cell" during one of these moments gave her a small glitter of hope...but with the state that her mother was in...and the kits...reminded her that it would be nearly impossible. "What happened next, Mum?" she asked, not really paying attention. She just wanted out.

• "That's basically it. All there is to say is that after that..." Capone looked down at the suckling kits. She couldn't say here. "Come back, closer now." She couldn't have anyone else hear this.

• Rosepaw and Flamepaw were shoved to the back of Gravelstar's den with Capone and her kits.
Maybe I miscalculated, Rosepaw thought.Lovely.
Flamepaw breathed a sigh of relief.Well, it looks like we won't be sent back home and killedWe'll be seeing more sunrises and sunsets.
Rosepaw unsheathed her claws slightly and swiped them across Flamepaw's mouth. The tom flinched back at the feel of claws on his skin, but it was a secret message rather than an attack. It meant, Keep your mouth shut, or else you'll suffer.
Then Rosepaw swiped both her claws against her neck, both going left. She angled her paws so that they were both adjacent to one another, with a wide space across them. Finally, she then nodded her head to Gravelstar. In this particular situation, the lines could be translated as: They're going to continue to hold us hostage until they can get something out of us.
She then repeated the first sign that she did earlier, which meant, Keep your mouth shut.
Finally, she put a claw to her mouth, then brought it down by crossing it in an "X' across her heart. Promise to keep silent or we'll both suffer.
