SunFang nodded when thanked by LightStream, though blood still trickled from his wound.

Rosepaw's gaze met Flamepaw's, as if they were exchanging words in silent. Flamepaw nodded, and Rosepaw responded back with a slight head shake.
-
SunFang padded over to the two apprentices, "What has gotten into the two of you?" he meowed angrily.
-
Rosepaw ignored him.
"Oh, it isn't us," Flamepaw responded lackadaisically. "I just think our clanmates have been over-emotional. Maybe it's that time of the season for some of us?" -
SunFang's eyes grew hard. "Yes because being over emotional causes one to draw blood on clan mates. Do not think me ignorant. Even the most foolhardy of cats would not harm their own clanmates, enough the threaten their lives because of emotions running high. Now explain yourselves," he meowed icily.
If there was one thing SunFang could not tolerate it was disloyalty among clanmates. -
As Flamepaw began to open his mouth to speak Rosepaw cut in.
" You're not our leader so I don't know why we have to waste time explaining ourselves to you," she meowed. "Don't worry about us,"
Mousebrains, she thought. Clan cats sure are a nuisance. I almost forgot why we came here. It's probably best to leave without anyone ever knowing, then we'll let Mello take the blame. Genius -
"No, but I'm the leader here, and as apprentices Sunfang has authority over you," Gravelstar said harshly, hobbling over slowly. While she was starting to feel better, she didn't want to overexert herself. The leader wondered who these cats thought they were, and wondered whether they'd had any prior infractions. She couldn't remember. "Listen to him, or I'll have you on Elder duties for a moon." All she'd heard was a lot of loud scuffling and swears, so she figured it was just a bunch of apprentices being typical teenagers. "Sunfang, what happened?" she asked, noticing the blood. They didn't claw him, did they?
-
The blood seeping from her wound did not cease, and Forgottenkit couldn't help but moan in pain. Hobbling into Gravelstar\s den; she looked around. Had Zinniawisp left yet? She hoped not.. She turned her head and stared at the crimson blood that had dripped from her would as she entered. Crap. The Medicine Cat Apprentice looked up at Gravelstar as she spoke to Sunfang, slightly hurt that she had noticed the warrior and not the one who was responsible for healing the cats in her Clan. Of course, she was just being over sensitive again.
-
Rosepaw rolled her eyes." I think one of the elders told me that she was fine and able to take care of herself. Isn't that right, brother?"
"Yeah," he nodded quickly."And if they're able to talk their heads off about what they want, then they have the energy to care for themselves,"
Flamepaw whispered in his sister's ear, low enough for her to here."This is much worser than I thought. They assign work?"
"These cats must be bored out of their minds," Rosepaw whispered back.
"I'm one step from insanity,"
"Been there three times today," Rosepaw whispered back.
This mission was now pointless to her. Perhaps the only other ways for her to avoid being killed by Brae or Theo was to blame Mello, hide their mission or become prisoners themselves. -
SunFang saw GravelStar's gaze go to the wound on his cheek.
"These two refused to follow orders, particularly RosePaw so a fight broke out, in which LightStream, Myself, RobinSong, RobinReliant, and these two were in. Not only that, but they were instigsating conflict," he meowed. -
It was mostly to with the fact that Sunfang was eye level with her that she'd noticed his wound and not any of the others. At his words, Gravelstar looked around and saw that Forgottenkit had been hurt too. Then her eyes snapped over to the two apprentices as they began talking about the Elders. "The Elders didn't serve this Clan battle after battle to have to take care of themselves when they retired. You do whatever they want you to do and more. You groom their fur, change their nests, crack their ticks, fetch them prey and if they tell you to stand on your nose for their own enjoyment you do it until they tell you to stop, do you understand!? Stop your muttering."
-
"Which Robinpoop helped further by biting me and harassing me," The wound on Rosepaw's paw bled. she quickly licked it back up to get it to heal.
Flamepaw did the same thing to the wounds on his legs. "Yeah, Robinpoop and Lightspit started this, so it's their fault,"
"After all, aren't we only apprentices?" Rosepaw mewed innocently. She put on an innocent look to match her words. -
SunFang glowered at the two apprentices, "Though I do not condone what he did, and I told to stop, you two were acting like spoiled kits," he meowed.
Noticing ForgottenKit, he padded over, "Little one, are you alright?" he rumbled softly. -
"Sunfart," Flamepaw stuck his tongue out at the tom, then continued to lick his wounds.
Rosepaw giggled in response. -
"Do not call me little one, please. I am an Apprentice." She grumbled, shaking her head. "And I am fine, just a bit sore is all." The she-cat replied as she spoke to Sunfang, nodding and giving him a smile. She then turned to look at Gravelstar. "I will heal them if need be; but I will do nothing to cease the pain they are going to suffer when they begin to feel the pain of their wounds and not idiocy." Forgottenkit said, her voice stern with an annoyed tint. She would do exactly as she said.
-
SunFang nodded, "My apologies, if you would not mind lady medicine cat, looking at my cheek too," he meowed.
-
"You and the others who are injured shall drop by my den later. And by those who are injured I mean those who are not Rosepaw and Flamepaw." She said, ignoring the fact that Sunfang had called her lady Medicine Cat. Why could no one just call her Forgottenkit? She fought the pressing urge to sigh and looked at Capone. The she-cat had missed all the drama, oh how upsetting that must have been to her.
-
"Screw you!" Hissed Rosepaw to the medicine cat. "We never needed you're d*mn held and never will! Real wildcats don't rely on pathetic meddy cats for help when they get wounded. And come near me and I'll claw you're fur and your eyes off,"
"Real talk," agreed Flamepaw. "We are the realest wild cats if you ever seen one. You guys are nothing more than a bunch of whiney baby weaklings," -
That was it. That last string of protection snapped. Turning slowly, the Medicine Cat stepped towards Rosepaw. "And you think your are tough when the Clan attacks you? When you touch me or harm our leader you think that being a Wildcat with no friends or anyone to help you survive in dire need is a good thing?" She growled, her black cascade of fur bristling as well as the red patches that lay upon her tortoiseshell body. She took a challenging step towards Rosepaw, just awaiting when she would attack the Medicine Cat Apprentice.
-
"For you information we have friends," She hissed. "And you just continue running away, coward,"
Rosepaw was just getting started with the string of insults. she could continue all day. This was entertainment for her. It would have been more fun if she could only attack this cat and watch its blood drip. Then she wouldn't dare challenge her again."Gravelstar, I think it's time you knew the truth," Juniperheart padded in.
"The truth?" Flamepaw laughed nervously. "What truth?"
"These cats aren't who you think they are," continued the queen.
Rosepaw began to pad towards her, claws unsheathed. "You're lying!"
