  • "I'm Jack." I said, not really wanting to be called otherwise. My eyes did not open, but my breathing did slow down as I entered a meditation-like state. It helped me calm down sometimes and actually connect to myself in a way. I visibly relaxed rather than being tensed like usual. However, that quickly ended and I was disrupted when I began coughing again. I opened my eyes and looked at the other male in my room. I didn't question him or anything, I just looked at him.

  • "I'm going to kill that damned cat one day" Anubis snarled. "Don't worry about her. I was literally raised by a jackal because she was to full of herself to take care of her demigod kid" Chase replied softly. "But no one deserves to be curse for all of the immortal life" Anubis replied making Chase look outside the window. "Its not a big deal. As long as I don't care they'll live. None of them have died yet." Chase replied with a shrug. "I'll be back later" Anubis told the neko before disappearing. Chase sighed and went back to staring outside the window.

  • I looked at Chase before looking forward and shrugging. I slipped under the covers of my bed, laying there. I held the covers before pulling them up to my neck. I curled up underneath them and yawned a little, closing my eyes.

  • Chase sighed and turned cat, padding over to Jack's bed and jumping up easily before walking over to him. Then he laid on his chest and let his eyes close.

  • I placed a hand on the neko's back, eventually falling asleep, falling limp as usual. Every now and then I would mumble something, but it sounded like gibberish and was nearly impossible to understand. I stroked the cat in my sleep.

  • (Of course.)
I woke up, nearly forgetting there was a cat on my chest. I moved Chase onto a pillow and sat up, looking around for a moment before pulling on a hoodie and a mask. I yawned and stretched as I stood, eventually returning my attention to the sleeping cat, knowing he would probably awake at any moment.

  • Chase turned human after stretching. "Hello" he said standing and ruffling his hair and, like always, avoiding his ears. He looked at Jack before looking at his hands and rubbing them together awkwardly.

  • "Anything wrong?" I asked as I watched him. I pulled my mask off again and watched him with my silver eyes as sunlight flooded into the room. My hands remained in my hoodie pocket as I watched the male neko, not at all bothered by him being able to see my face. I yawned once again, revealing my sharp k-9 teeth. I stretched again, attempting to pop my shoulders, or simply my back.

  • "It doesn't matter. I'm supposed to be asking if anything is wrong with you" he said softly as he stood. "Can we get some food?" he asked still looking at the floor, daring to only glance on Jack.

  • "Of course." I mumbled, pulling my mask back on as I walked out of my room and down the stairs. I sighed and walked into the kitchen, pulling out a can of tuna, setting it on the counter. I sighed and opened the fridge, pulling out some milk, placing it on the counter as well as I reached for a bowl and the cereal. I made myself a bowl of cereal and got a spoon. I slowly began eating it as I watched the neko, making sure smile dog was not around.

  • Chase began to eat the tuna after turning into his hairless cat form. When he finished he turned to the milk and lapped it softly, a small noise resulting everytime his tongue touchd the white surfice. When he finished he jumped down, liking his jaws awkwardly, and started towards Jack's room.

  • I finished eating and began cleaning the mess up, seeing as it was Jeff's day to cook. I sighed and headed back towards my room once I finished cleaning up the mess. I slipped into my room, changed and grabbed my scalpel, slipping it into my hoodie pocket. I stretched and slipped my hands in the single pocket as well. I slipped out of my room and began heading out the mansion, seeing as most people in the woods didn't see daylight until 10 and it was only 6. I would have to be quick about it though. Some people wake early.

  • Chase followed him, turning human after a while. "It's going to be dawn soon" he said softly, following Jack almost completely silent. His sandy blonde hair was a mess while his blue eyes looked trouble and nervous. Honestly the neko had never felt to...turned on in his life.

  • "I know...." I mumbled and slowly approached a house, looking inside, seeing the person still sleeping, I silently slipped in, stole their kidney, and slipped out. "Let's go then. You seem a bit nervous." I mumbled as I examined him, slowly heading back to the mansion.

  • "I don't like being outside during the day" Chase said trailing after him. A dark barked and he jumped onto Jack's back, holding onto him tightly. "I urmm....really don't like being outside during the day" he whispered, burying his head into the crook of Jack's neck.

  • I chuckled and slightly held onto him, heading back to the mansion. "I wont let any mean ole' dog get you." I said, in a joking tone as I headed inside the mansion and up to my room.

  • Chase let out a low growl, but continued holding onto Jack as if he was god. "Just go douche dick" he muttered not even loosening his grip even a little bit.

  • Chase slipped off the other boy sitting silently, not even his breath able to be heard. "Do you think I'm worth it?" he asked ever so quietly.
