  • "A Head Full Of Fears Has No Space For Dreams"

Plot: Everyone always says; "Dont give out your personal information online!" Or "People are never who they say they are when it comes to the internet." Well, neither your character, nor mine, care about that, much less what other people have to say. My girl, and your boy, over a period of three months have been talking through E-mail, it all started in a chat room that was able to allow dozens of people to talk all at once, but the two of them clicked, and exchanged E-mails. Neither of them know each other's real names, addresses, looks, etc. But what they do know, is that they each go to the same High School. Without their knowledge of course, neither of them speak to one another at school, they practically don't know that the other person happens to exist in our "lovely" world, considering they go to a large school. Although, one day in school, they bump into each other (that part can happen at any point in time and any way we end up making it actually happen in the RP) They instantly hit it off, and later on, they realize that they've been talking for months over the internet! [PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, have at LEAST four complete, literate sentences per post, and include a picture of your character in your first post. THANKS! :)]

    Violet Rae Taffner

[align=center]IC: Violet awoke that Monday morning to a loud thud against her door. Because her dad went to work so early, her mother was always the one left with the responsibility of waking her, if Violet didn't rise and shine on her own for school. Her mother would usually wake her up by making extra noise outside her bedroom door. Her mother rarely knocked and she almost never opened the door. Violet could probably count on the fingers of one hand how many times her mother had been in her bedroom while she was in it too, especially during the last five years. This morning she was especially loud. Violet heard her put down the pail roughly, practically slamming it. Her mother was cleaning earlier than usual. The mop hit her door, swept the hardwood floor in the hallway and then hit her door again. Violet stared at the black computer screen across her room, it was an older computer, surely as old of not older as the ones you'd see in the town library. When her mother hit the door with the mop again, she knew it was time to rise, but she was stalling. Today was the first day of her Junior year. Slipping out from under the covers, Violet made her way slowly over to her bedroom door and flung it open. By then, her mother had already finished mopping the hallway, the strong aroma of cleaning pine sol filled her nostrils. Crunching her nose, Violet made her way to the bathroom for a quick shower.

Wrapping a robe around her body, and filing another towel around her head, Violet made her way back to her bedroom, tip-toeing on the still wet hallway floors. entering her room, she gently closed the door beind her and she hurried over the her computer, moving the mouse causing the screen to awaken and flicker a dull white color. Her E-mail was the first thing that happened to be on the screen. Other than school work, she only used it to talk to [Your boys chat name]. Violet liked the secrecy, to her it made their.. "relationship" more thrilling. LoneGirl06: Hey! You ready for the first day of school? Cause I'm not :P After sending the message, Violet grabbed the clothes she had laid out the night before, a simple black tank top, with a grey pullover, along with dark denim skinny jeans and white converse. After she finished getting ready, she glanced at the stuffed animal frog on her shelf above the desk. Looking back at her door, she slowly walked over to the toy and took it off the shelf. On the belly of the animal, the lining was ripped, and inside was a green and while box with the words "Signal" on them. She slipped the box into her pocket, grabbed her bag off her bed and made her way outside, without checking her computer again or saying goodbye to her mother. She walked down the side walk, and turned a corner so that her house was no longer visible. To her left was old abandoned garage, that belong to a house that was destroyed due to a fire.

She walked around the back of the garage and pulled out the small box. Inside was only Six, left from twenty cigarettes, and a lighter, as well as four matches. She never normally smoked that early in the morning. Violet only liked smoking at night most of the time. But today, she was feeling especially anxious and nervous. Not because it was the first day of school, but because she knew (Your boys chat name) and herself went to the same school, she didn't know if he was in the exact grade as her.or not, but she knew they were both 16. Slipping the filter of the cigarette into her mouth, Violet lit the end in a quick swift movement and look a long drag, holding it in for a long moment and breathing the thin smoke out of her mouth, She slipped in one headphone and played the first song on her shuffle list. "Teenagers" by MCR. Grinning, Violet took a second drag, three, four, five, before she finally started to feel slightly dizzy. She didn't particularly like the brand she had, they didn't give her that.. "buzz" but she took what she could get, considering she couldn't buy them for herself. Not having many friends she could barely get them from other people either. Violet only had a few drags left, before she'd have to go and face her first day at school.

  • "Wake up Nerd!"
Riley woke up as he was jumped on continuously. He grumbled with frustration. Then suddenly a small, hard knee rammed into his stomach. He was instantly infuriated and yelled, "Knock it off!" before sitting up and throwing his sister onto the floor. It was silent for a moment. Riley fell back down on his pillow and sighed before the screeching began.
His sister was only 6, and she was a complete wuss. She cried all the time, just trying to get Riley in trouble.
In a few moments, a little squeal began, slowly becoming higher and louder. It then came to the point where it was deafening, and Riley covered his ears.
"Shut up!" he shouted. Then mother crashed through the door. She got that little "aww what happened" look and walked towards her "precious little girl" with arms open. She had stopped screaming and ran towards Mom, crying into her shoulder and hugging her. Riley unplugged his ears.
"What's wrong darling, what's wrong?" Mom asked gently.
"Riley pushed me off the bed!" she cried.
"Riley why would you do that?"
"Just - let me go to school!" I snapped, throwing the covers off of me. Mom carried my sister out of the room and closed the door behind me, giving me some privacy.
I took advantage and opened my closet door, which had Avengers posters all over it. I found a t-shirt and some jeans and put them on, then grabbed my scuffed-up tennies and shoved my foot in, not bothering to untie of and tie it again.
Then I went over to my laptop and opened the top, squiggling the touchpad to turn it on. The screen illuminated my SpiderMan screensaver, hurting my eyes for a moment. I opened my email and smiled when I saw the only name that could make me happy: LoneGirl06[i].
I opened the email which read: [i]Hey! You ready for the first day of school? Cuz' I'm not.

I laughed to myself before typing back: SpiderMan26: I'm with you.
I then closed my laptop and grabbed my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder as I ran out of my room and our of the house. I entered the garage and hopped on my bike, pedaling out and down the sidewalk. I pedaled quite slowly, secretly hoping to be late to school.
What if I meet her today? I asked myself nervously. What if she's Sarah, that weird kid that picks her nose? I shuddered at the thought. What if she doesn't like me? I'm kinda a nerd. I thought, remembering some of the times in Middle School where I was beaten up. And some times in Highschool, too. This was the main reason I didn't want to go to school today.

OOC: Sorry for point of view mistakes, I was struggling for some reason :D And I hope this isn't weird, but Riley is actually kinda based on my boyfriend, Xavier. So if I ever say Xavier or anything, please ignore me :D

And sorry about the italicized text, I don't know how that happened.
