  • "Why are you being so nice to me? Why are you being so giving and generous and…you're amazing," the words spilled out of her mouth before she could process what she was even saying.

  • "Oh my god, no way," Dylan said, getting up, "This is amazing! I'm going to go check it out, if you don't mind."
She went down the hallway, the air warm and moist. The spring was bubbling and looked so inviting. Dylan could remember a time when she was a swimmer on a team before the war. The water seemed to beckon to her. So, without a thought, Dylan stripped off her clothes and dove into the water, the silky feeling enveloping her.

  • "Oh my gosh you're the best," Dylan said, "Why don't you join me? The waters great!"
The bubbling water rose up to Dylan's shoulders, foam made it difficult to see anything below the surface. And besides, there wasn't much to see. Dylan was all skin and bones.

  • Dylan kept her back turned until she head Fallow get in. She turned around a wide grin on her face, "This place is great."

  • Dylan closed her eyes and dipped her head under before surfacing again. It felt so good to get her hair wet. She started running her fingers through it, working out the snags, pulling out the tangles.

  • ( haha, yeah :P )

Dylan felt relaxed. She was so often on guard, so often trying to find food. But now, she was truly relaxed. Even when she slept, she was still tense, but for the first time ever, Dylan was at ease.

  • "Thanks," Dylan said, wrapping it around herself when she got out. She felt clean- a feeling she got only from her weekly dips in the river. But with winter approaching, she had been trying to do it less and less.

(Don't worry, my sombrero caught it, lol)
