Dylan watched her sleep, since there was nothing better to do. Lillith was actually kind of pretty- not that Dylan was getting any kind of thoughts about her. The thought made her subconsciously rub her thumb over the face of the battered, broken watch on her wrist. The watch was the most important thing in the world to Dylan. It had belonged to her boyfriends grandfather, and then her boyfriend, and then her. But her boyfriend had died a long time ago, and now she was alone.

Lillith
Lillith stayed asleep muttering softly in a dream.
-
Dylan, without meaning to, ended up dropping off to sleep. She was woken by bright light in her face from the rising sun.
-
Lillith
Lillith was up and was stiring a sleeping fire back to life.
-
"You didn't wake me up," Dylan said, standing up and stretching.
-
Lillith
She just shrugged watching the burnt logs slowly become a roaring fire.
-
"Are you feeling any better?" Dylan asked, running her fingers through her mess of hair.
-
Lillith
She nodded slightly but didn't say anything just started drawing in the dirt.
-
"Really? You're not even going to talk? I fixed your leg, gave you food, a place to sleep, and saved your sorry ass. The least you could do is talk to me," Dylan snapped, irritated. She had forgotten how frustrating people could be.
-
Lillith
She grew tense but didn't look at her "I didn't ask you to save me I didn't ask you to give me food or a place to sleep! I DIDNT ASK YOU TO DO ANYTHING... I would have much rathered if you had left me to die..." She snapped back hugging both of her legs close no natter how much her right leg hurt.
-
"Why?" Dylan spat, "Are you so pathetic that you don't even care whether you live or die? Are you really jjust going to lay down and let yourself be killed?"
-
Lillith
"Why live in a world were everything you knew and loved is gone.." She mumbled throwing the stick she was using to draw with into the roaring fire.
-
"But doesn't it want to make you live just a little bit more if you know that there's at least someone else out there? I mean, I hardly know you, but it's so good to actually be able to talk to someone," Dylan said, "It makes you happy, even if just for a while, and isn't that worth living for? Those little moments?"
-
Lillith
She shrugged "For all I know I'm still face down in the dirt dying...". Lillith sighed softly staring into the fire before looking at Dylan " Sorry.." She mumbled.
-
"Whatever…" Dylan mumbled, appalled at the girls desperation for death, "I'm going to go look for your bag where I found you."
-
Lillith
She nodded "OK..." She said
-
Dylan wandered off to where she'd found Lillith, looking around.
-
There was a bag just a few feet away snagged on a root.
-
Dylan's eyes caught on the bag. The girl walked over and picked it up, examining it. "I guess it's hers…" Dylan mumbled, "I wonder what's inside?"
-
It didn't feel heavy at all maybe a blanket or book maybe a couple of tools small ones.
