  • Lee was speechless. She hardly even noticed that White had gotten up. "If we die in the game...we die...in real life...?" she whispered, her body shaking. "No...that's not fair! Why...!" she was biting her lip in an attempt to keep from sobbing.
Curiosity struck her when a new item was mentioned. Lee hesitantly selected the item from her inventory and looked into it. Her vision suddenly turned white as soon as she saw her reflection, and when it faded away, someone else was looking back at her through the mirror. No, it wasn't someone else; it was her? There she was, wearing exactly what she had been wearing when she put the nervegear on; her adored red hoodie, her blonde hair pinned back at the bangs, and..."Oh great..." she moaned, realizing that she was a girl again, but worst of all...she was short ^-^. "And I was beginning to take a liking to my avatar," she pouted, shakily putting the mirror back in her inventory.

  • As everyone had their avatars stripped to show their real-world bodies, White sighed with acceptance. "Now I'm really going to get stared at...and this isn't even a bug." He muttered. His eyes were now fixed but had now turned a gleaming, crimson red. Even worse, his true hair color had finally come through; what was once a dark brown became an explosive shade of white. Everyone looking at each other couldn't help but stare at the only head who's hair was completely white. White cursed under his breath, though he could not change himself.

  • Lee turned to look for White; it had been much easier to look around the crowd when her avatar was tall. "White, you're--" she paused, a bit shocked at his new appearance, "You...you're eye is fixed!" she exclaimed, trying to remain optimistic. She felt a little weird now though, now that her appearance was a drastic change from her avatar, and everybody seemed like a completely different person. It would also make it hard to find the rest of the party members, seeing as she had no idea what they looked like or where they were.

  • Aichi stood there in shock, "Why... why must we be tortured this way..." he asked tears coming to his eyes as he thought of his family, friends and his life. The notification snapped him out of his trance. He swiped across the and checked it out in the inventory. Please let this be a joke or something...Please. he thought as he took a look at the item. "A mirror, what is this?" he asked aloud. He took a look at it and then noticed that he no longer looked like his avatar but as himself.

  • As the large figure spoke Lenik and Rin just stood their stunned. Rin just stood their petrified with fear. Lenik to worried about his sister to care about the mirror. Soon realized what it was for when everyone flashed a blue light, and as the light faded saw his sister as she looked in real life. After staring at each other for a bit Lenik broke the stare by saying "We should get with everyone else." Lenik looked around, and noticed a white haired kid to his side. He saw the username Whitewind with Lee next to him. Lenik grabbed his sister's hand, and the two ran over. Lenik was still trying to shake the words from his head. "If your HP drops to zero you will be deleted from the game and in real life." as he ran to them.

  • "So if we die... If we die in the game..." he tighted his hand's, His body hurt from falling in the fountin earlier. he stood their their as his body was surrounded by white "Did we get teleported again..." He went into his inventory and took out the item named mirror and looked into it, He almost fell back "N... No" His Sky blue hair turned back to its Ember scarlet and his eye's turned back to cromed red "No..." He sort of just stood their until he put it back into his inventory "None... none the less we-" He was cut off by the look of Rin, He just stopped as if the wind was taken out of him ~...~ he slowly backed away and open up the party chat but he couldn't type or speak, It was disabeld ~This... This isn't a dream, This isn't a dream at all~ He told Rin to follow him and he headed on his way to the other's.

  • White knew she Lee was trying to be optimistic, but... Wait...she!? Turning back, he saw who Lee really was. Mind him, he didn't care for that sort of thing, but... It was confusing to him, and now, the stress of the game had finally caught on. White stared at the ground in horror, petrified. What would they do now!? Of course people would die! There was an absolute certainty!

  • Lee frowned, feeling a bit awkward that her little lie had shattered into pieces. She remained silent as the rest of the party managed to find their way to the small group she was standing in with White.
"..." she was at a loss for words at first, but wanted to at least attempt to cheer the others up, "...hey, remember just five minutes ago?" her voice was shaking, but she continued, "We were laying waste to those mobs out there. In our little group, there's n-no way we'll get a game over, right?" Lee gave a weak smile, and didn't know if she even believed what she was saying, but nothing could be accomplished when everybody was horrified (though they had every right to be).

  • Rin was puzzled as the others around her panicked. Wasn't this part of the game or something? And then it struck her- no, definitely not. This was something else, something far worse. The game had become real life. How horrifying. Her brother had always wished he was a character in a game, so he could fight off monsters. Rin couldn't understand why, now. This was not thrilling. This was downright dangerous.
At mention of a new item, Rin didn't know how to open her inventory. She copied Whitewind to do this. A mirror. Her reflection stared back at her, exactly the same one as her avatar. But the clothing had changed. As she looked around, everyone's appearance had changed as well. As her eyes slid across everyone, they stopped at WhiteWind and Lee. Lee's a girl, and WhiteWind is albino?! She shrugged. Her avatar had been adjusted to the same height and appearance as her, so it hardly made a difference. "Yeah." Rin agreed with Lee. "We're not gonna die here."

  • Hai started to see the other's Icon's float above the crowd ~Their they are!~ as he made his way through the people he saw their apperance, Everyone looked diffrent "..." He stood their staring at them ~Lee...White...D~ he felt a sharp pain in his chest, His eye's fell to the ground and he looked dead inside "I cant take it" he felt the pain start to well up and hurt more, he blew it off ~Darn you Kayaba~

    The figure started talked again...

Kayaba: Right now, your probably wondering why, Akihiko Kayaba and the developer of SAO and never gear do this? My goal was a simple one, to control the world of my design, as you can see... I achieved my goal. This marks the end of the tutorial and the start of Sword art online, Player's... I wish you the best of luck

his body started to disapate into a smoke like figure and return to the sky of red and before they knew it, he had gone. As if an intstant after a girl screamed a disruption shook the crowd by storm

  • The crowd nearly trampled the trio of Rin, Lee, and White himself if he hadn't taken them both, each in his arms, turning back to shield them from the incoming stampede. Of course the action hurt, but it was better to stay still than to run out and risk being trampled to death. Looking around, the square was poorly built; though their were multiple exits, White only saw a few to empty the contents of thousands of people.

  • Rin squirmed away from Whitewind, turning her back toward the direction of the stampedes and using her body as a shield for him and Lee. Lee was tiny- she looked no older than thirteen, but Rin knew that she probably just looked like a child. Still, she felt a need to protect them, since they were now a 'party', not that it meant much to Rin. She just knew that she'd found friends here, i the most unlikely of places, and she wasn't ready to let them feel the pain of protecting her. They were standing right by the fountain, so she grabbed Lee's and White's wrists, pulling them toward the fountain, then standing in it as she watched everyone rushed by in a panicked mob. Soon enough, the only thing left was a few stragglers and them.

  • Lee couldn't see what was happening; everything was going by in a blur as she was yanked this way and that. It was still strange adjusting to her regular, small, light body as opposed to the tall, strong body she had made at the start. "Oww...are you guys alright...?" she asked, rubbing her arm. She looked around the Town of Beginnings; it seemed like nobody quite knew what to do. True, the only way out was to beat the game, but that also meant risking their lives. It was a tough decision for everyone, but Lee knew what she wanted to do.
"We have to beat the game," she said quietly, looking at the ground. "I mean...I'm really scared, but we can't sit around here waiting for somebody else to do it, right? And even if we did die, we'd be helping all these people..." Lee shook her head, not wanting to think about dying.

  • "Yes. You're absolutely right." said Rin, staring back into Lee's eyes with an empty gaze. "We'll record what we find, and help others conquer the levels. Well, if we don't get to it soon, someone else is gonna go risk their lives first! Anyone with me?" she exclaimed, her challenging look masking the darker undertones of her voice.

  • Hai looked around seeing everyone, he snapped out of his mode and turned on party chat, He knew what to do and where to go and time was ticking away... "Yeah I'm in, but We dont have much time to just sit here, If everything he said is true... Farming area's will be taken up in no time at all" he pulled down a map of the 1st floor "Their are starter place's to train from the west, If we take the right route we can get their and to the second town in no time at all" He was still hurting ~Why... their is no reason at all on why I'm in pain~ his mind knew that he was safe but he felt as if everything had been put on him the second that this world became his new reality

  • Aichi stared at the ground not knowing what to do. He sighed and looked up at the now almost empty center and noticed the people in the fountain. Aichi stared at them for a moment and then quickly headed over there. "Do you guys need any help? I want to get out of the game but I doubt that I will make any progress alone so, can I join your group?" he asked nervously.

  • Lenik in reaction to the crowd's panic shielded his sister from the oncoming mob of people. After mainly everyone was gone he noticed that everyone in the party was still their. Lenik just looked around and thought to himself. So this is our life now. As Lenik looked he noticed his sister on her knees trembling. Lenik knelled down next to his sister and said "It'll be ok Rin neither of us will die here I promise you that." The words eased her fear as Lenik stood up faced his sister pulled her up. Lenik then heard X and Replied with a simple "yeah me too. But before we go i have to do one thing" Lenik looked around at several people who were lost in thought or frozen in fear. And slowly started making his way towards the fountain.

  • Rin snapped out of her panicked daze and turned her head toward a boy she didn't know- Aichi. "Sure, you can join our group." she said. "We'll need as many people as we can to clear the floors." she explained, offering a faint smile.

  • Lee nodded. "We could easily be the best players here," she said, the confidence returning to her voice, "We can beat this game no problem. In fact...why don't we start a guild?" she suggested, putting her hands on her hips.
She looked over at Aichi. "Sure, if you think you can handle it," Lee teased with a smile. It felt better knowing that she had made friends with her in this death-game, so she wouldn't have to face all this alone. If they formed a guild, it would only make them that much closer and more powerful. "So what do you say, guys? A good guild will need a good name, of course..."

  • "Let's make a guild," agreed Rin. "What is a guild, anyway?" she added uncertainly. "Is it similar to a party?" She felt embarrassed, not knowing anything about this game, but she knew that some of the others were new too, so she wasn't alone. Her eyes followed Lenik as he walked slowly toward the fountain. What's he doing? she wondered to herself, shrugging and turning back to Lee.
