Rainbows along the timeline (Doctor Who/Time Turner needed and PAFP)

    Okay. I basically know nothing of the actual show Doctor Who (not counting the Whooves and assistant and the adventure crossovers), so this is to help me learn as well as to have fun with a crossover with Rainbow Dash as the Doctor's assistant.
    And before we began, I want us to start off where they don't know each other. Also, I will give you the honors on choosing where on the MLP timeline they meet.

    And I shall be waiting. :)

    How about before the premiere for the forth season?


    Rainbow Dash watched as a strange blue police box magically appeared and vanished. Each time it showed itself, it seemed to gain a stronger presence. She had no idea what it was and part of her was in awe while the other half of her was slightly afraid of it, yet she didn't dare move from her spot.
    Normally a pony would report strange activity such as this to royalty, but curiosity keep the pegasus from doing the act. Rainbow had never seen anything like it before and wanted to wait a bit longer before doing anything rash.

    A voice could be heard coming from inside the box, and the sound of some pony stumbling around. The door to the box started to open slowly, but clumsily, as if the pony inside wasn't used to doors.

    She took a few steps closer after it stood there for a moment. Suddenly the door slowly opened and the pegasus stopped in her tracks. Her heart started to pound and she could hear the blood pounding in her ears.
    Her wings screamed at her to fly, but she betrayed they and stood there. Rainbow noticed the figure of a pony, but she couldn't tell who it was or anything much of the pony based on the viewpoint that she was watching from.

    "Okay. Let's see. I'm a pony. Could have been weirder. At least I'm still male. Let's see. Everything is colourful... Now, let's see according to these co-ordinates, I should be on earth, but this looks nothing like that." The pony said, stepping out, revealing a brown earth pony. "Oh, I didn't see you there. I'm the Doctor, who are you?"

    "I-my name's Rainbow Dash... Wait a second," the multicolored equine said before glancing at the box again, "What is that?"
    She knew that it was a police box, the words were written on it after all, but she had a strange feeling that it shouldn't be able to magically pop out of nowhere.
    Her wings were still spread out as if she was ready to fly, but the truth was that she had almost forgotten that she had wings in her mixture of confusion.

    The cyan pegasus looked back to the earth pony, "In other words, you're a time traveler?" She asked. She didn't know if he was pulling her leg or being truthful. Twilight mentioned something about a spell that had the power to take one back in time, but she didn't pay much attention to what the now alicorn had said about that adventure.

    "You're in Equestria and when is November 22, 2013," the pegasus answered she walked past him and over to the police box.
    Dash glanced back at him, "This small thing that hardly has room for one pony is a time machine?"

    "I doubt that I will-" she stopped when inside. The box was still a box, but it had more room then she originally thought of it. Of course the pegasus didn't know what to think, so she ran back outside and examined the sides of the container.
    Dash finally stopped in-front of the Doctor once more, "H-how is it bigger in the inside?"

    The Doctor smiled. "It's basically a different dimension in there. It's got a library, a swimming pool, bedrooms, and so on."

    For some reason, this pony made more since then Twilight when talking about boring topics. But Rainbow would never dare to tell the alicorn that she pays more attention to some random time traveler explaining stuff.
    "I guess that makes sense. So... Why this part of time?" The pegasus asked.

    "I was meant to be going to a planet called Earth, but I think I must have shifted universes and I ended up here, at the co-ordinates of... Cardiff, Wales, Great Britain." The Doctor said "But I am curious. Want to see what time travel is like? To everyone else, you would have been gone for five minutes"

    "Time travel... Why would I ever say no to a one in a million chance like that!?" Dash replied with a smile. She did have a couple of minutes to spare before meeting up with the rest of her friends. Traveling through time would be the most awesome why to send her free time.
