For my characters, they are the portals from the Portal games. They are unicorn sisters and their magic is making portals. They are called Orange and Blue, and only able to make their colour of portals.

Orange ran fast, looking behind her to see if Blue was behind her. Sure enough, she was.
Blue ran after Orange, but not as fast and was more careful about it then her sister was.
