I smiled when she walked in, "No, I woke up a few hours ago. I had some nightmares." I sighed and looked at her, "Oh my god, thank you! I need something that's not hospital food. I owe you again."

"It's nothing." I sighed. "It's funny how when I tell people my name is Matilda Rose they think I have 2 first names so that's what they call me.. My friends or boyfriends- [I blush] usually call me Tilda though."
-
I smiled, "What your middle name? I'm going to call you something different." I looked at her, "Some people call me Olly or Olive, but I think those nicknames are babyish since they were childhood nicknames."
-
"My middle name is Ella.. What's yours?"
-
I smiled, "I call you Matida El, just to be unique." I smiled and shook my head, "Craig... It was my grandfathers name."
-
"Hmmm I'll call you OC. Speaking of calling people can I have your number so I don't always have to go through the hospital staff every time I want to talk to you?" I giggled.
OOC: You spelt Matilda wrong fyi.
-
I laughed and nodded, "Yes of course, here, I'll write it down." I grabbed paper from my best side table and a pen, writing it down and giving it to her, "I like OC btw."
-
"Thanks. When are you going home?" I asked taking the slip of paper from him.
-
I smiled and patted my stomach softly, "I was told in a week... If I can digest my food okay then they will let me go. I have to heal properly since my belly's blown up." I sighed and looked down, it had scared me as much as I didn't admit it.
-
"You'll be fine." I say trying to convince myself more than him.. "Anyway, I want to get to know the real you. The you before all of this happened." I said softly gesturing to the room around us as I spoke.
-
I looked at her, "Like what? What would you want to know?" I liked how she lied to get into my room, it made me feel like she liked me and I liked her right back so I had no problem with that. I smiled and looked at her seriously, "There too much about me that you don't know."
-
"That's why I'm asking. Anything's fine really." I sighed taking a bite of my bagel. I wondered if he liked me back. Probably not. I considered asking him, but decided against it.
-
I laughed, "Okay, I love to sing, my favorite color is green, I grew up in New York with a mom and three siblings, my dad died when I was 10 years old. I'm the 2nd born sibling, the first is my brother, then me, a sister, another sister then twins, a boy and a girl." I smiled and looked at her, "Anything you are dying to know?"
-
"Um nope. I also enjoy singing, my favorite color is purple and I grew up in Arizona with a younger brother and both parents."
-
I nodded, "You lived a pretty normal life?" I smiled and shifted slightly, groaning in pain, "Damn, that hurts..."
-
"Pretty much. Other than the fact I was in a military family, so we moved a lot. Arizona was where we finally settled when I was twelve, that's why I call it and NYC home." "Oh and please don't overextend yourself." I said gently helping him lean back.
-
I sighed, "I'm sorry about that moving around stuff, I never moved once but we went on vacation a few times." I chuckled and looked at her, "Thank you and I won't try to."
-
"It's fine. And, no problem." I sigh really wishing he'd tell me if he wanted to be friends or... I blush at my own silly fantasies and rest my head in my hands.
-
I smiled and looked at her, "Um... Matilda El, I'm just going to call you El, would you care to meet me at my beautiful hospital room for dinner? I would really love it if you would." I blushed and smiled at her happily, hoping to hide the nervousness I felt. She was beautiful, beautiful outside and in though, that's what made me ask her out, I liked her.
-
I smiled. "Sure. It's not the most romantic place but it works. That's why we have to go on a real date when you get out." "I kiss his cheek. "I should go. See you tonight." I give him a little half wave as I walk out.
