We could do a mane six,but maybe with a twist? maybe kinda like a chaos elemnt rpg. Let me give you an example. All the elemnts are the same but the bad guys,we still have laughter,kindness ect. but the dark side kinda like the equinox ponies! (Dont know them? Here ya go! We could do something similar to EQ but they turn into our OCS. The mane 6 go through some sort if portal and they are in a new dimension, and they turn into other pony's that can be our OCS. They meet other pony's from the dimension and have to figure a way out.

Instead of the elements of harmony, new elements of... I need a name. Fire, water, earth, air/wind, light, dark, electricity, ice and spirit/magic. It would probably be set in the equestria girls universe, but Pegasus pony-humans would have wings and unicorns would be able to use magic(maybe?)[/fancypost]

if ice and water were one element, we'd have to add another one. Metal? I was thinking they could start out as three pegasi, three unicorns and three earth ponies or something like the mane 6 of the original friendship is magic series. Four unicorns and four pegasi would work for eight elements... I don't know. Eight isn't divisible by three.
And I think being a son/daughter of a canon character could be optional, and not tied to the element you choose. That was kind of random, it popped into my head. I thought the princesses would either do their parent's jobs or be elements themselves.[/fancypost]
