The grand library

The clocktower

The church

All of those will likely have different perks/powers associated with them.

I'm trying to think of more but those three will be the major groups most likely.

they're different groups who guard different areas and might provide aid to the other hunters.

Like say The hunters of the church aren't skilled with weapons but they're skilled in some sort of arcane magic.

They could also provide a safe place for anyone who isn't infected.

The clock tower hunters could be skilled fighters and could do reconnaissance in different areas.

The library hunters could be skilled in stealth, or they could be jacks of all trades, but experts in none. They have a balanced knowledge of weapons and the arcane. But they don't excel in either.

They could also possibly be trying to find a cure for the sickness.

There are definitely other smaller orders though.

Somebody has to clean up. And if the three major groups start fighting each other (they likely will) somebody has to be there to take over fighting monsters
