    Sorry for the absence. I am back, though.


    IC: Twilight was expecting the barrage of attacks, quickly taking a defensive stance. With the shield held between her and the attacks, the purple Unicorn was able to block each attack, at the cost of lost ground. Even though she was blocking each attack, her magic was taking quite a beating. With every blocked attack, the crested shield cracked slightly. If this stallion did not stop attacking, Twilight would have to switch to offensive without a shield.


    He has to run out of stamina soon! Twilight thought angrily, grunting as the stallion attacked again.

    "Twilight. Try to take me down. I dare you" The stallion said, halting his attacks for a short while, just standing there. He grinned at her, knowing she would attack him, and be surprised at the consequences. "Do it. I'm not even going to try. I will attack back in a few minutes if you don't do anything"

    Lowering her shield, Twilight's sword began glowing once again as she raised it to her side. With a loud battle cry, she charged forward at the stallion, swinging her sword diagonally.

    The stallion roared in pain, leaping backwards. He grinned despite the noise he had just made and the blood now running down to the snow n the floor.

    Even though she knew she hit the stallion directly on the chest, she was surprised to see him chuckling. Her eyes widened at the sight of the gash running along Night's chest.


    "How can you still be standing?" Twilight asked, her voice filled with shock.

    "Not easy" The Pegasus said "You will find your consequences later" he added before he took off. A few minutes later, a figure could be seen, bleeding profusely, collapsing on the floor.

    The strength of the stallion left Twilight to stand still for a short while, staring in the direction he flew with her jaw gaped. She would have never had that kind of strength if she was struck with a blade, let alone if she was injured at all.


    Images of her brother flashed in her mind as she looked down at the trail of blood left in the stallion's wake. Images of the arrow that had pierced through his chest shone clear. Images of his limp body in her hooves were the clearest, bringing tears to her eyes.


    How could she be just like that archer that had killed her brother? The stallion she struck could be bleeding out right now somewhere in the forest with no one to help him. Would they ever find his body, or would it be covered with snow, never to be seen again?

    As the Celestial soldiers lost more and more, some of them decided it was best to retreat.


    Fleeing back toward the direction they come from, the ones that stayed were easily dropped.


    Twilight, however, stayed where she was standing, her eyes starring into the distance as if she was in a trance. Golden noticed this quickly as he trotted up to the mare.


    "Your army is gone, Sparkle. We are taking you to Luna's base as a prisoner. She will decide your fate." The stallion told Twilight as he sheathed his blade.

    "Dammit! Ah missed the battle 'cause y'all told me to wait!" Applejack shouted in frustration as she stood, her angry eyes looking down at the still crouched Shadow. Even though she seemed upset, the stallion could not resist a smirk.


    "You are too cute when you are angry." Was all it took for the farm pony to calm down, her face quickly flushing in embarrassment.


    "Whatever, let's just get in there and escort Twilight back to Luna." Applejack ordered as she trotted down the slop and into the field.

    "Twilight!" An injured voice rang out "Run!". The figure came closer, showing an extremely injured Silver. "Leave her, take me!"

    Sky turned toward the voice, readying his weapon in response.


    "And why should we do that?" Golden asked loudly. Twilight however, was still starring into the distance, her mouth still dropped in shock. It wasn't until she heard the stallion's voice that she snapped back to reality. Scanning the field for the owner of the voice, she was surprised to see Silver, injured beyond compare.


    "S-Silver?" The purple Unicorn's voice was cracked and injured, devastated to see her brother-like figure injured like this. "Please... don't hurt him." Twilight pleaded to Sky to sheath his weapon, but the stallion ignored her and remained in a defensive stance.

    "You know Twilight, there's no way you can break her. I, on the other hand, am injured, so you have leverage. Information for healing" Silver said "Please, leave Twilight be" he added, the world starting to spin.

    "You do not have as much information as Miss Sparkle of here. Why would we take a foot soldier into custody when they cannot give us any information?" Golden asked in reply. Even though Silver seemed to be out of energy, Sky still remained in a defensive stance, his blade held tightly in his jaw. His eyes were locked onto the injured stallion, narrowed in concentration.

    "I am not just a foot soldier" Silver said. He steadied himself and charged up a teleport spell, but made it look like an offensive spell.

    Golden noticed Silver's horn as it flared. Adjusting his position, he readied for the attack.


    Twilight, who had stepped in front of Sky, shook her head to Silver, telling him to stop the attack. Her eyes were filled with plead, telling him that she did not want any more bloodshed.


    "I will be alright. I don't want you to be hurt anymore than what you already are. Please..." S=Her voice died away in her throat as she fought back a tear.
