    Twilight was not expecting her target to take flight, leaving her to skid to a halt. Raising her shield, the purple Unicorn lowered her weapon before putting all her attention onto the shield. The best thing she could do was defend while she analyzed the fighter's move set.

    Hope Springs had come on the train as well, the least important healer sent to heal any still alive after being struck. The blonde-maned pegasus shivered at the thought of being the most disposable healer.
    She surveyed the scene, but it seemed all of the soldiers attacking the three Lunars were dispatched and killed so swiftly they didn't have a chance.


    Gale hid on a long, thick cloud above the battle. She quickly poked her head through and looked for a unique rainbow mane and cyan coat. She didn't see it and sighed, pulling her pink head back up to the top of the cloud.

    Hope stared up and saw the Lunar pegasus. Her eyes got even wider. Dear Celestia, what if he sees I don't have armor and realizes that I am a healer?! She quickly hid behind a bush and tried to seem like a Non-Republic pony.

    Twilight remained in a defensive stance as she looked up at the Lunar Pegasus, awaiting his next move. Though there was a battle going on around her, her gaze remained on Night.

    Sky was the first of the Lunar soldiers to fall. It was not because of a blow from a enemy, but it was due to exhaustion.


    Seeing that Sky had fallen, Golden stepped back to guard him while he rested. The golden maned stallion was becoming breathless as well, though he seemed to be able to control it.

    "You can't hold me away forever Twilight" Night said "And the longer you try, the more of a nightmare it will become"

    Gale Dash looked back through the cloud. Oh, no! That stallion can't hold off all of those soldiers by himself! She paused and then got an idea. My old job was to create wind currents. If I can just create a big enough one to make it hard for ponies on the ground to move... She began to fly around above the ponies swiftly.

    As the pony in the sky began circling the battlefield, several soldiers glanced up at her momentarily before returning their attention to the battle.


    Twilight grunted at Night's comment before lowering her shield. "Why don't you come down here and fight me then!?" She spat back, loud enough to be heard over the clashing of blades.

    Gale lost energy and soon the rough wind slowed down. Ugh... She quickly flew back through the cloud to get a break without falling from the air.

    "As you wish" Night said, landing, and using his wings to make basically a smoke screen out of snow, then going with a large blunt object to try to knock her unconscious.

    Twilight noticed one of the Lunar guards in the trees and issued the attack on the three messengers. Now, Twilight and Night are fighting, while Golden and Sky are fighting some grunts.


    IC: The blanket of snow was enough to blind the purple Unicorn momentarily, but she was able to regain sight just before the impact. Barely being able to raise her shield in time, she blocked the attack. With Night now within slicing distance, Twilight's sword began glowing once again before slashing toward the stallion.

    The stallion leaped back. "You will regret this, whichever result comes out" Night said, leaping into the air and lunging forward, flying and repeating.
