    "If Luna had sheltered you, how can we be sure you aren't siding with them?" Twilight asked, her eyes narrowing at the three ponies in front of her.


    "This message is a peace treaty. Before long, there won't be a side to pick!" Golden replied loudly, obviously upset with the question.


    "Luna would never want to make peace with Celestia. That nocturnal moon-lover wants nothing but bloodshed." Twilight hissed back, her words filled with anger and hatred. This hatred was fueled by her brother's death at the hooves of a Lunar Archer.


    "You do not know Luna like I do. She just wants the bloodshed to end, not continue. Her daughter wants the same thing." Golden attempted to calm the Unicorn with his words, but it only seemed to anger her further.


    "She has a daughter? What kind of leader bares foals during a war?" Twilight seemed lost as she spoke, her voice tipped with sorrow toward the foal.


    "The kind of leader that wants to end this war!"


    "You keep on telling me this, but I am not agreeing with a word you are saying," Twilight sighed, her head shaking to the sides. "Do you know why we are here?" She added a question, her gaze returning to Golden. The orange coated stallion shook his head in answer.


    "Your 'Wants to end the war' princess is harboring a weapon of massive destruction. This snow has not stopped falling in weeks! Something is controlling this weather and there is only one thing that could do this on such a massive scale." Twilight paused for a moment to build up the dramatic release.


    "Windigoes."


    "What does that have to do with Luna and this peace treaty?" Sky asked before stepping forward.


    "Luna obviously has an artifact that can control the Windigoes. Perhaps, a tooth or a claw from a deceased Windigo? She is using it to control the monsters, causing an endless snowfall."

    The black Lunar pegasus had an idea, when listening in on the conversation. When she was distracted, hope they could get her slightly away fro the group, then he could try to grab her. He'd have to wait as he couldn't blow his cover too soon.

    "She has no such item!" Golden protested in reply, his voice raised higher than it should be. "The whole time we were there, this 'fang' would have stuck out, if not the fang then the coldness. If she had control of this item, don't you think this place wouldn't be covered in snow?" Golden remarked.


    "That would look too suspicious if she did clear this area of snow. It would be foolish for her to make it blatantly obvious that she has it." Twilight wittingly replied, her mind dead set on Luna's evilness.


    "She wouldn't do something that puts her own soldiers in danger. We have already seen three ponies fall to frostbite. Whatever is causing this snow does not have a pony controlling it. It is completely wild, making it snow wherever and whenever it wants." Sky spoke up, taking another step forward, matching Golden in stance. "Luna has nothing to do with the snow. That's it."

    The lunar pegasus whom was eavesdropping went into a charging stance. His body was bulkier than most pegasi,meaning less speed but more power. He prepared to charge and grab Twilight, waiting for a few more seconds.

    Twilight let out a sigh as Golden and Sky defended Luna, even though they were on Celestia's side.


    "You made an oath to Celestia when you first joined. That oath stated that you would fight for her no matter the situation. Do you know what else it says. Luna is the enemy, and enemies must be taken care of." The purple Unicorn reminded the two stallions harshly, her attitude obviously harsh and angered.


    "I know about the oath, but Luna is not the enemy at this point. She wants peace. She wants to end this war." Golden repeated, his tone slightly annoyed now.

    The lunar pegasus, who was named Night Spirit, started his charge, trying to take them by surprise and charging at Twilight.

    Just as Twilight was about to rebuttal, a sudden movement from behind the three ponies caught her attention. It was an ambush! Golden must have planned this with Luna to capture her patrol.


    "Attack them!" Twilight gave the order with a flick of her hoof. Being that Golden and the others were so close to the Celestial attackers, they had to retreat back toward the center of the field. The snow made it difficult for everypony to run, making the chase slowed and lengthy.

    (Night Spirit was on his own in the trees, so a whole army is chasing him?)


    Night Spirit grunted and leaped up. "Not my best plan"

    The army is attacking Golden and Sky with Night spirit included.


    IC: As the dark coated Pegasus sped toward Twilight, the purple Unicorn did her best to dodge the attack. Being that she did not have much battle training, she did not know the best way to roll. Jumping out of the way of the attack, she clumsily rolled through the snow before stopping on her side. Quickly standing back up, she took a defensive stance, facing the Pegasus.

    "We need to get in there and help them!" Applejack whispered to Shadow. Before the farm pony could jump up and rush out into the battle, Shadow placed a hoof over her shoulder, halting her movement.


    "There are too many of them for us to help. We need to wait for Dash and Scootaloo to get some help." The stallion whispered back , his eyes focused on the battle. Reluctantly, Applejack sunk back down into the cover of the snow.

    "We'll boys, survival of the fittest. Time to see your stamina" Night Spirit said before he lunged forward, fainted and went to strike from another angle.

    Golden and Sky found themselves surrounded by several larger soldiers wielding spears. Sky was directly behind Golden, facing the opposite direction of his companion.


    Just as one of the soldiers lunged forward, Golden dipped under the attack, slashing upward. Crimson liquid flew from the wound, covering the nearby snow in a red mist. The soldier fell to the ground, landing in the red snow.


    Before Golden could recover from his own attack, another soldier took the moment of weakness to slash toward the stallion. Luckily, Golden was able to slip under the attack, leaving the soldier off guard.


    As soon as Sky finished off a soldier of his own, he turned to face Golden to see a soldier looming above him. Lunging forward to assist Golden, Sky was able to knock the soldier off of Golden. Sky's sword easily slipped through the Celestial soldier's armor, coating his blade in blood.

    Twilight Sparkle, you cannot escape. Night Spirit thought, before knocking out some guards and trying to slit their throats.

    It seemed that the Celestial troops were falling easily to the combined forces of the three soldiers, but that would soon change.


    More and more soldiers began surrounding Golden and Sky, out numbering them by three.


    Backing up slightly, both stallions backed into each other, their swords held tightly in their mouths.

    Applejack watched on as the Celestial troops fell to the three ponies' attacks, her hooves yearning for action. Come on, Dash. What's takin' so long? She whispered under her breath, her eyes scanning the battlefield.

    With the added stallion soldier, Golden and Sky began attacking as well. It was not long before the two former-Celestial soldiers to take down their targets.

    These soldiers are falling too easily! They aren't even landing any attacks! Twilight's eyes flared in anger as she watched the troops fall, their thick blood mixing with the snow. If this continued, the three ponies they were attacking would easily eliminate all of Twilight's troops before even landing an attack.

    After enough of the soldiers had fallen, Night Spirit signalled to the other two to carry on as he moved towards Twilight. (We really need to poke the others.)

    What do you mean by poke?


    IC: Twilight noticed the approaching stallion before drawing her weapon. Though it was small compared to the other blades most of the soldiers used, the purple Unicorn's sword was glowing a dark purple. Twilight had magically enhanced it before the battle, making it lighter and double the size.


    With the blade hovering around her, Twilight was able to shift to a defensive stance while still having an offensive weapon ready to attack. This technique used a bit of energy to use, but it was still deadly. Even if she only had a few moments of magic, that was all she needed.


    Instead of waiting for the stallion to make the first move, Twilight was the one to lunge forward, blade stretched out in front of her. With a flash of her horn, a protective, shield-like barrier appeared between Twilight and the blade. The shield was crested with her brother's Cutie Mark, making it unique to her and her alone.
