    IC: Twilight nodded to Silver before he could fall back. The purple coated Unicorn returned her attention to the path they were following. The grass was thick and overgrown, almost coming up to Twilight's shoulders.


    The land suddenly sloped upwards, almost turning into a hill-like structure. The grass suddenly lowered to the Unicorn's hooves, making it much easier to maneuver.

    That mare sometimes Silver thought to himself before his legs were leaving the deep grass, as he was at the very back of the group now, but he could still see Twilight.

    As Twilight came up to the top of the slope, she quickly halted her movement, catching the ponies behind her off guard. The purple Unicorn came nose to nose with Golden, the air suddenly going quiet. Sky stopped as well, surprised to see such a high ranking soldier this far away from Celestia's headquarters.


    "Golden? Sky? What are you doing here?" Twilight asked in astonishment, her eyes venturing over the two ponies.


    "We were taken as prisoners." Golden put simply.

    "Twilight?!" Rainbowdash hissed quietly, obviously angered by the sudden appearance of her former friend.


    "Shush, Dash! Do y'all want her to hear ya?" Applejack remarked, quickly placing a hoof over the cyan Pegasus's mouth. Dash easily swatted the mare's hoof away, her eyes focused on the Celestial patrol.


    "How many of them do you think there are?" Rainbow asked, her question not focused toward anyone.


    "I count twenty." Shadow was the one to answer.


    "Twenty soldiers on a single patrol? That cannot be right..." Dash whispered, her eyes narrowing. What was Twilight doing leading a group of soldiers so far into Luna's territory?


    Luna's territory.


    Twilight was planning on attacking Luna's base! How did she find the location so easily?


    Quickly glancing behind her, she looked toward Scootaloo, who had slumped down into the snow, watching the patrol intently. There was no way Dash would get her attention without getting the patrols attention as well. The only way to tell Scootaloo to retreat would be to go and tell her.


    Just as Dash was about to backtrack, Scootaloo, luckily, looked toward her.


    Waving her hoof toward Scootaloo, Dash signaled a retreat to her. Nodding in understanding, the orange coated filly ducked away into the trees toward the Lunar base.

    Silver Blade walked up to the front. "I hear movement" the unicorn said "Sounds like retreating" he said. He could hear it probably a bit better than Twilight as he was standing closer to the trees than the afore mentioned unicorn was. The guard glanced around and started moving towards the trees. "I might need back up, if I am not mistaken about the source of these noises."


    (Soon, enter the Scott's-pony! Also, let's let a chase scene begin, shall we?)

    I am not sure if I have mentioned this before, but this is before Twilight became an Alicorn. She is still a Unicorn in this thread.


    And I would love to have a chase scene.


    IC: Twilight scanned the tree lines for any movement, barely catching sight of Scootaloo's purple tail.


    "Catch them before they get to the base." Twilight ordered, turning to pick out three other ponies to accompany Silver.


    "Whoever is retreating had been watching us ever since we left Luna's factory." Golden mentioned. "They must have went back to tell her we made it to a patrol." He added.


    "Luna's factory?" Twilight echoed, her gaze returning to Golden. "You were at Luna's base this whole time?" Her voice suddenly switched from calm and collected to confused and irritated.


    "Yeah... We were captured a few days ago by a Lunar patrol. One of our stallions were killed during the brawl, but three of us were captured. Me and Sky were released to send a letter to Celestia from Luna. The mare with us was too injured to make the trip." Golden explained.


    "A letter? What kind of letter?" Twilight asked. Golden turned to Mint before trotting over to her. Reaching into her saddlebag, he carefully took out the letter.


    Trotting back toward the Unicorn, Golden presented the sealed envelope to Twilight. "It's a peace treaty. Luna wants to make peace with her sister and end this war."

    "And, I'm with them." Mint watched Golden, her eyes fixed on the envelope. "Do you mind if I get that back now?"

    Silver dashed off, as if his injured leg was not able to slow him down. He moved at speeds which seemed impossible of a unicorn of his size, especially because of his aforementioned injury. He, and the other soldiers with him, we're weaving through the trees so effortlessly, it was as if some divine force was moving the trees for them, thought that obviously wasn't the case. His pace started slowing as soon as he was close enough to identify who the ponies he was chasing were.

    Twilight held the letter out for mint to take back. "They just let you go because of this letter?" She asked.


    Golden was reluctant to tell Twilight the actual reason of their release, but it would feel wrong not telling her the whole story.


    "That's not the only reason we were set free." He began telling the story of how he had managed to escape custody the first time, only to run into Luna's daughter, who had protected him from harm.


    "She gave me this figurine as a token of our relation." Reaching into his saddlebag, he quickly took out the said statue.

    Scootaloo heard sudden slush of snow behind her, causing her to slow down slightly. At first, she thought it was Dash and Applejack coming to tell her the patrol had left, but she quickly realized there were too many hoof sounds to be them.


    The patrol must have sent a group after her!


    Turning back around, she sped away toward the Lunar factory, almost doubling her prior speed. Though her hooves were still small and the snow was tough to tread, she still managed to make up some ground.

    Silver old his group to carry on going before slowing down, and, as he could see it, he used a lot of magic to teleport just behind Scootaloo, and he started running again. (Common knowledge: For teleportation, you eed to picture the area you are going to)

    Actually, Scootaloo is the only one running right now.


    IC: Panic began rampaging through Scootaloo as she ran, her breath coming in gasps. Never had she ran for her life before. It was such a tiring activity. No wonder no pony likes it.


    The sudden flash of Silver's horn was startling, causing her to gasp louder. Dash! I need you!

    "Stop, and no harm will come to you. I shall make sure of that" The unicorn stallion said. His voice had a slight coat of exhaustion on it, but the message came through clearly. 'Stop, or I'll force you to stop'.

    "I can't trust you!" Scootaloo yelled back in reply. With the added speed and the thick snow, it was not long for Scootaloo to loose her breath entirely, making it impossible to continue.


    Slowing down slightly, Scootaloo ducked behind a tree, her breath heavy and wheezy. While she was in the recovery stage, she glanced back to see just how close the Celestial ponies were. Because of Silver's idea of teleporting, the other two stallions were much farther behind than he was. If Scootaloo waited any longer, Silver would be right on top of her. If his threat was true, that stallion could easily take Scootaloo down without a problem.


    Now would be a good time to take flight. If only... A sudden sadness shot through the filly as she glanced back at her wings, frail and frostbitten.


    After taking a short break, she darted back into a gallop, kicking snow up as she ran.

    Silver sighed. "No time for games". He focused and teleported himself just in front of Scootaloo. In hindsight, not his best idea.

    Almost like running into a brick wall, Scootaloo collided into Silver. Because of her shortened height, her head made contact with the stallion's hooves, knocking her back onto her rump.

    "Sorry about that. In hindsight, not my best idea. But I didn't have to wound you" Silver said "Come along now, and show me where the others are"

    "I do not want to use force, but if I have to, I won't wait a second and I will have no restrictions." Silver said before, to emphasise his point, used his magic to bring a spear over to him.

    IC: The glint of the spear head shone down into Scootaloo's eyes, causing her to look away, covering her eyes with a hoof.


    "F-fine. They are back toward the field, hiding in some undergrowth." Scootaloo spoke in reply, her voice filled with defeat and sorrow.


    "Stay away from her!" A sudden voice shouted from behind. Before Silver could react, one of the stallions that was following him was flung to his side, crashing into the snow heavily. Rainbowdash had taken out both soldiers easily, the other one underneath her hooves. "If you touch one hair on her mane, Luna help me!" She shouted, her eyes flaring in anger.
