Angelpaw sat down, dissapointed "maybe im just an apprentice with no meaning..." she thought sadly. "...I still think it has a meaning. Because, the voices... They want me to find them." her concionse said other wise in her mind. "angelpaw, you fool! You could have just been hearing things! These types of quests are not for an apprentice like you!"

''The prophecy might have started already! Where exactly did you hear the sounds, and smell the blood?'' Rainbreath meowed, trotting over to Angelpaw.
-
I heard the voices uh...." she trotted a few pawsteps away. ".....here. This is also where I smelled blood the second time in the wind. The first time I smelled blood.... Was at the edge of my camp. Both while looking at the star... Does that mean something?"
-
''It probably does.'' Rainbreath meowed, and padded over to Angelpaw and scented the air for anything, when all of a sudden she scented the faintest scent of blood, and the scent of crowfood.
-
Angelpaw continued. "it was always after the blood....that I heard the voices... Its scary..."
-
Rainbreath nodded, and crept forward to see if there was anything there. She quickly pulled her head back. ''I saw a large yellow eye, and a dark figure, standing over a cat.'' She meowed softly.
-
Angelpaw crept foward. No sound came from her, she was as silent as a shadow. Even though her cream fur said otherwise. She looked through the bush and saw a large figure... She jumped back. Her midnight blue eyes widened in shock as she whispered, "what is that rainbreath?"
-
''I think it might be the dragon thing that the prophecy said.'' She whispered back. She crept forward, hiding her silver fur against a bush. She looked again, and a voice sounded.
"Help! Anyone!'' The voice screamed.
-
Angelpaw jumped from suprise. Her ears pricked for the voice to cry again...
-
"Whats that."said Stormpuddle.
-
Angelpaw shook her head to say "i dont know..."
-
Rainbreath shut her eyes. She wished she was back in camp, being a kit again. But that couldn't happen. She opened her eyes, and crept forward, pricking her ears. Before anything could happen, the dark figure took off, leaving a pool of blood with a cat lying motionless in it.
-
Stormpuddle ran over and shouted"We need a medicne cat!"
-
Angelpaw plunged foward. She had to see who was the victim! She sat next to the cat. "....help me..." said a voice. Angelpaw looked around for the source of the voice. No cat could have said that. "hello?" she mewed into the distance for a hope that the cat who said that would show up. Nothing appeared.
-
Rainbreath raced over to the body, and nosed it carefully. She was a medicine cat, but telling them right now was not the moment for it.
-
Angelpaw looked at the sky. "starclan.... Why...?" she uttered as she glanced back at the cat. Then at stormpuddle, "stormpuddle? I....im scared..."
-
The cat let out a splutter of blood. ''h-help me...please...'' he stuttered.
Rainbreath raced over to a bush, and searched for any herb that could help.
-
"Its ok Angelpaw."said Stormpuddle comforting his apprentice.
-
Angelpaw smiled, her expression became slightly serious as she placed a paw on a big gash in the cat's side "don't move. We don't want you losing more blood..." she cooed.
-
The cat looked at her as if there was nothing else he could really do, but nodded.
Rainbreath returned moments later with a mouthful of every herb she found, laying then all out. She squeezed some moss, letting water wash away any infection from the gash, and then layed a few layers of cobwebs, pressing down gently.
