    whispering Goodbye...[b]

    [size=12px][b] ((We'll see what happens ^^))

    Artemisa lifted her bow as soon as she touched ground, shooting an arrow right into Guillaume's arm. As soon as it landed, she dodged some more knives and began running. She shot three arrows at the same time at her brother, only one of them hitting him on the leg. It was enough to stall, though, for she got to jump into the air and soar about his head, taking aim right at his noggin with her arrow.

    Guillaume looked up at his sister as she began to release another arrow. Before she could, the black mist from his feet grew intensely thick before launching up at her. It engulfed her with the dark smoke, blinding her just for a couple of moments before she landed on the floor again. He didn't take time to stall; as soon as Artemisa was on the ground, he lunged for her with a black blade of shadows. He slashed at her over and over again. She was quick at dodging, yes, but near the end of his run, she became victim to every single one of his hits. For a final blow, he used the majority of his strength to lash out with his blade and slash her across the stomach, sending her flying into the wall just above Orihime and Akari.

    Artemisa fell to the ground after hitting the wall, not moving for a little bit. She slowly began to sit up, her scowl growing deeper on her face. "You've gotten better," she said to her twin, locking her extremely red eyes on him. "I'm surprised." She cringed and grabbed at her stomach, which was now producing a deep red liquid that came gushing out.

  • "Dang. What did I miss here?" Alyssa mumbles, looking at Guillaume and then at Artemisa. Twins perhaps? They look close enough. But why are they fighting? Sibling rivalry much...?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: 1px;]Orihime watched, her eyes filled with absolute terror as she leaned into Akari, the pink-haired male also watching, but with a grim expression. It seemed that Guillaume was now winning, since he practically cut up his sister with shadows, and flung her at the wall near them. "Artemisa..." Akari was hurt just looking at her in pain. And the blood..

    Orihime glanced to Alyssa, who looked confused. She waved her hand at the girl, her eyelashes not allowing tears to fall on her cheeks for the second time that night. "W-we don't e-ev-en know wh-why they-y're fight-fighting," the orange haired girl called between hiccups. She realized that the flower crown that was atop Guillaume's head was now on the floor, practically crushed. Her face went deathly pale, appearing almost white. Akari gently shook at the now frozen girl, his quiet murmurs not getting to her.

  • "Hmm, so their fighting with no reason? I don't like when people are hurt without a reason" Alyssa grumbles, her red eyes gleaming for a second with curiosity. HAmm, step in an risk getting hurt or stay out and let it play out?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] Despite the serious wound to her stomach, Artemisa didn't back down. She became a blur as she lunged for her brother, stopping her attack on the other side of him. She now had an arrow in her hand, cloaked with the blood of her target. A small smile was on her face as she heard it.

    Gushing. The sound of blood pouring out all at once came to the area as Guillaume's entire torso was sliced. The wound wasn't deep enough to do any true damage to him, but it was long and noticeable. The young man wavered slightly as he took the blow, honestly not seeing it coming. He didn't have time to turn around and react, for sudden exhaustion flew over him. Relaxation took him suddenly, and his anger began draining away. He turned his head to the roof, seeing Artemisa now flying towards him from the sky. Despite his numbing exhaustion, he lunged his arm towards her, a black shield being formed out of the shadows. It blocked her move with an ear-numbing klang, and he pushed back against her to send her falling back. She landed on her feet, and he was left standing on shaky legs. "Damn your Emotion Manipulation," he growled. "You're getting good with that gift."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: 1px;]"I-I guess s-so.." Orihime murmured in reply to Alyssa, her eyes still blank as she watched the siblings go at each other again and again. Akari stared at the girl who approached, his gaze harsh. "Do not go out there if you want to get hurt," he told her bluntly, turning back to look at Orihime. He turned his back on the fight, not wanting to watch any further. Too much blood..

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] They could only dish out a couple of more blows before Artemisa began to show her exhaustion a little more. She made the foolish mistake of hitting then resting; as soon as she lowered her guard for that split second, she went flying again. She went tumbling across the ground in the direction of the three bystanders, more damage being brought to her since she was rolling over her wounds. She was mere inches away from Akari now, lying on her back. Her bow was across the room, and she only had one arrow left. She looked up at Guillaume as he prepared a final attack, but before the sword could land, she shoved the arrow forward and aimed it for his throat.

    He stopped moving just before the arrow could touch him, and he stopped his arm just before his large sword could touch her chest. He stared down at her, breathing heavily along with her. Even if they were fighting, the pace at which they gasped was in sync, just like twins usually would be. He didn't move, and neither did she. One move of any muscle, and they could get hurt more than intended. But after a brief moment, Guillaume found out why Artemisa was threatening his throat with an arrow. They were too close to Akari, Orihime, and Alyssa.

    Artemisa lowered her arrow as her brother stood up straight, relaxing as the black sword no longer threatened her chest. She closed her eyes and just laid there, panting heavily. She stayed like that for a while before she began laughing. Not a light laughter, either. A full on, stomach-aching laugh. "Gill, when'd you get so good?!" she shouted at her brother with a bright grin on her face, still laughing her head off. When she opened her eyes to look at him before returning to her fit again, it was shown that the red in her eyes was gone, and the foggy ebony had returned.

    Guillaume just stared at her before he, too, began laughing. The red in his eyes faded extremely quickly as well, greeting him with excitement and thrill. "When did you get so bad? You used to beat me in four seconds!" he replied, his own laughter making it difficult for him to get the words out.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: 1px;]What?? Akari stiffened as the two stopped fighting and began laughing. He stood abruptly, his eyes narrowed to slits and beginning to glow. "What the hell." He said it as a statement, not a question, his gaze switching between the two. "So, you think nearly killing each other is funny? You nearly gave Orihime a heart attack, I mean look at her," the pink-haired man spat at them furiously, stepping aside to show the pale-faced girl, shivering slightly. She gazed up at the two of them, but quickly averted her gaze, shifting to move away. Akari glared at them, crossing his arms over his chest. He released a sigh and his eyes stopped glowing almost instantly. Instead of facing them any longer, he crouched down beside Orihime, his voice soft as he spoke to her. They both stood in sync, although Orihime arose in a shaking manner more so than Akari did.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] Their laughing slowly began to die down, but they kept chuckling every now and then. "But this is what we always do!" Artemisa protested, that smile still on her face as if she believed she didn't do anything wrong. "Back at home, every chance we got, we fought! It's how we train!"

    "I'm sorry if we scared you too much," Guillaume said sincerely, even though his chuckles were still there. "But it's a habit of ours."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: 1px;]Akari grimaced at them, but remained silent as he stared at them. Orihime also kept quiet, wanting to just leave and get out of there. The pink-haired male felt her tugging on his uniform, so he gave a slight nod and began walking in the direction of the exit, taking the orange-haired girl along with him. She glanced over her shoulder to look at Guillaume, but only saw the horrors that had flashed before her eyes. She was so worried for him.. Yet they insisted it was 'what they did all the time'. She scoffed quietly, letting go of Akari's arm as she began walking by herself. Akari said nothing as she did, knowing fully well to keep his distance from the girl now.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] Artemisa looked up at them with the smile on her face just for a moment before she jumped up. The smile was faded now, and her laughing had stopped. "Wait, wait!" she called out to them. "Why are you leaving? Did we do something wrong?" Her eyes suddenly widened as a thought came to her mind. "We didn't hurt you guys in the middle of that, did we?!" She brought her hands to her chest, now making strange noises of alarm. "I'm so sorry! We didn't mean it, honest! We were just training is all! We didn't mean for you guys to get hurt!"

    Guillaume would have stopped her from her rambling apologies, but he, too, had no idea why they were angry at the two twins. He didn't see them get hurt at all. But maybe they did, and they were mad at them because of it. The expression on his face was one of worry and fear, though. Yes, pure fear. He definitely did not want to hurt Orihime. Not after he just said that he would be there for her when she was in pain.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: courier; text-align: justify; font-size: 11pt; letter-spacing: 1px;]Akari stopped, and stood still for a moment, grabbing Orihime's arm before she could walk any further from him. He released a heavy sigh before turning just a bit so he could somewhat face them. "No, you didn't. Thank god. You could have easily hurt one of us though. Get that through your thick skulls before you accidentally end up hurting someone else," the pink-haired male said flatly, lingering to look at Artemisa with a softened rose gaze. Akari's gaze left her and found the floor, and slowly it traveled back to where Orihime was standing. And then they continued walking away.

    Look what you dropped, Orihime's voice fluttered through her thoughts, attempting to make it louder than the rest of what was going through her mind. Her hands were clenched into tight fists as her eyes met with Guillaume's, showing mostly terror. She felt his strong waves of worry and fear towards her. She pushed away any thoughts that he might think of hearing in his mind and pulled away from them, following close behind Akari.

  • "Mmm, well I guess as long as no one got killed I really don't care" Alyssa mumbles flatly. Well, really I do care that so much blood was spilled. She looks at the two twins and let's slight worry slip across her face before hiding it again.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] "No, wait! Wait!" Artemisa ran with amazing speed in front of them, forcing them to look at her full on. "We knew what we were doing! We always fight like that!" Her gaze landed directly on Akari's face. "Akari, don't you remember me telling you that I was gonna show you what I always did back at home? This was part of it! Guillaume and I always fought that hard, and we always made sure that whatever blow we delivered, it wouldn't hurt us or anyone around us!" She spun around and lifted up the bottom of her shirt and jacket, showing very old, very dangerous scars laid there. There were some rough, jagged ones, but most of them were smoothly cut and never too deep to do real damage. She spun around again and showed the ones on her stomach, minus the currently open wound. The clean-cut ones were nowhere near vital organs, and they weren't that deep. Even the open one wasn't deep enough to touch anything. Only the jagged ones were near things that could kill her. "See? We know what to do in our fights to make it as safe as possible!" Her face was one of pure pain, but not by the marks she received. She was hurt that they didn't understand that what they did was safe. Well, that's what she thought. In reality, she didn't understand why they would be worried at all. She just didn't get that feeling of fear of being hurt like others did. She then turned to her brother and pointed at him. "Gill! Show them yours!"

    Guillaume heard the single thought that Orihime wanted him to hear. It was like a whisper, since he wasn't really focusing on reading her mind, but he heard it. His eyes widened a little bit as his hand reached for his head, not finding any sign of life there. He looked around and allowed his eyes to land on the trampled flowers that had once made a crown. He would have gone to pick it up if he could have actually moved. As Artemisa began showing them her scars, he watched her and the other two with sadness on his face. When his sister basically ordered him to show them his own past pain, he took off his bloody jacket to expose his arms. They were completely lined with small, clean-cut wounds of knives or arrows. When he opened up the long tear in his shirt, more of those same wounds were seen. Even the one that he most recently got - the long line on his torso going upwards - wasn't fatal at all. But, just like Artemisa, he had long, wide, jagged scars that were near his fatal points. They were completely different from the ones his sister left, meaning they were probably from a different person. Guillaume didn't say a word; he didn't get why Orihime looked so scared of him. It was a normal thing for them. Wasn't it normal for everyone else?

  • "Ah.." Is all Alyssa says before moving towards the door again. They probably are used to fighting. If I had family I count even be able to hurt them at all. But of course that's isn't my case and it wasn't my choice. She glances back one more times before leaving and mumbles "What ever you think is correct may be fine for you but think of others before you do it"

  • ;-; I didn't see this post so can someone fill me in on what happened cause no way in life I'm reading 10 pages.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; letter-spacing: 1px; color: black;]( weee. mostly just character development, talking, fighting between the two siblings. all quite violent really. :3 you can make your character head over to where we are, which is a training area )

    Akari halted yet again, his eyes showing his clear irritation in Artemisa, even though all she was trying to do was reassure him and Orihime. As she began talking about how it was normal for them, and lifted her shirt, he grimaced. He shifted his gaze to her scars, and the open wound. He cringed at the many scars lining her body, but he was still listening as she explained that none of them were deadly. The jagged scars, however, were the ones that bothered him the most. He knew that Guillaume wouldn't hurt Artemisa, but who had made those ones? He stepped forward hesitantly, but stopped when Alyssa spoke. The pink-haired male nodded in her direction, agreeing with her comment. "Yes." Akari said flatly, his optics closing for a moment before reopening to look at Artemisa again. "It may be alright for you but.." he paused, trying to form the words in his mind before he spoke them aloud, not wanting to hurt the red-haired girl's feelings. "Do you really think I want to see you hurt?" He inquired in a barely audible voice, almost wavering as he stepped closer to her. He had his own scars, his own memories that he didn't want to revisit. Seeing her own scars almost brought back those memories. He lifted his hands, but let them drop to his sides when she turned to Guillaume.

    Orihime's chocolate gaze was mostly blank now, the terror gone and drained from her face. She wasn't particularly scared of them in general or the way they cut into each other like they were slabs of meat. The orange-haired girl was afraid of pain. Any kind, emotional or physical; the pain of rejection.. Her breath hitched in her throat, and her hands slowly began to hang on to her arms, rubbing them soothingly. She coughed as she regained her will to breathe, and opened her maw, but shut it almost instantly when Guillaume showed his own scars. Unlike Artemisa, he had more of those rough, jagged ones, much more deadly than his sister's, but he also had ones like the long line on his torso. Orihime figured that the uneven ones were from a completely different person, considering that the one done by his sister was thin and even. It wasn't fatal at all either. The others were. One of her hands found her throat, as it felt uncomfortable and sore. Pain.. Orihime released a 'tsk' noise, as she shifted her gaze away. The pale girl blinked away some tears brimming her eyes, her lips curled into a frown. Why didn't they understand it wasn't normal for everyone to just "train" with their siblings. Pain was pain.

  • {Mkay}

    Akumi walked causally over to the others, her hoodie pulled over her eyes and her face mostly hidden. She didn't like the fact she would have to show herself to others but they were just like her. She sighed and drew the hood back reveal her bright ginger hair. It was straight and came down ti her waist. She pushed some escaped fiery locks behind her ears and watched the others from a distance.

  • [hr]

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify][font=trebuchet MS][color=black] Artemisa furrowed her eyebrows with confusion. "See me.. Hurt.." she muttered. "Why would... You care if I got hurt or not?" Everything she learned in the past went against those few words that Akari just told her. 'Do you really think I'd want to see you hurt?' Why would he care so much? He was a person that was new in her life. Almost every time she met a person, they never cared if she got hurt or not. So, why was he caring? Sudden visions began filling her mind. Voices were faded and the images were fuzzy, but she could definitely feel different emotions. Sadness, fear, and pain. Huh? Were these Akari's memories? She looked up at him, her eyes slightly hollowed since she was seeing both him and the images that went through his mind. She couldn't say anything; the emotions of the past were basically consuming her at that moment.

    Guillaume's perspective wasn't that different. He was seeing Orihime's past again, but this time, he could feel her discomfort towards pain. It was understandable, since so many things happened to her back then. So when she saw his scars, she grew afraid. "You... You really don't like it, do you?" he asked her, his voice hollow. His eyes then moved to the man behind her, and immediately, new sensations flew through him. Worry? Mimicking Artemisa's facial expression, Guillaume's eyebrows furrowed together with utter confusion. Why was Akari worrying about Artemisa's safety and pain level? That was a completely new thing for them, especially his younger sister.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt; font-family: georgia; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; letter-spacing: 1px; color: black;]Akari stepped back, attempting to clear his mind of the nightmares pressing at the gates, ready to flow back. He regained his composure rather hastily, seeing as he recovered from things in an insane amount of time. He frowned down at her, eyes cloudy and blank. "Do you not care?" The pink-haired male inquired simply, raising an eyebrow at her. Akari wasn't one to impose on others, just because he didn't want them to press anything down on him in return. He wasn't nosy; he usually kept to himself. Akari glanced at Orihime, already knowing her past. She basically knew his as well. That's mainly why they stuck together. They understood everything the other went through. "Please.. Stop staring," his voice came out in a quiet murmur, his face turning away from her gaze as he also felt Guillaume's gaze on him as well.

    Orihime was silent for a moment. She kept opening and closing her mouth, unsure of what to say. She finally reopened her mouth, words hanging off the edge. "No. I-I don't," the orange-haired girl murmured, letting her hands drop to her sides. Her gaze dropped to the floor as she felt many emotions flow through her. She couldn't help but wince at how powerful they were. The confusion, worry and sorrow. The girl stood tall though, not allowing the emotions to weigh her down. She wasn't weak. Orihime frowned and her eyebrows furrowed in frustration, making her appear darker than before. "People.. Most people you have met have not cared for you?" Orihime asked them hesitantly, her voice quiet at first before it slowly got more confident.
