  • Yavas
    [Pronounced- Yuh-vass]

First things first. She's basically blind. Yavas does not know how but she woke up one day with a throbbing headache and eternal darkness. She was given what looks like a contact lense for both eyes by an old man she never identified. Therefore her eyes work as a camera and the lenses affect her brain so she has the ability to literally take pictures and videos and save them in her mind.

Now your probably wondering how Yavas has any sort of connection to the Doctor. Well that's up to you if you want them to be connected to him 'family' wise or friend wise at all. But what I will say is that when the Doctor finds himself in 2014 good ol' New York city he is confused on why the TARDIS just had to stop here and practically refuse to go anywhere else. After doing some digging around he finds out about Yavas due to her criminal history and 'Have You Seen This Child' papers on every wall and telephone pole there could be there.

But when he tries to dig further and finds out about the connection of both of they're pasts, will he dig further? Or will he finally realize that most secrets are better left hidden?

Yavas blinked rabidly before heading into a store with bright lights all around it. She pretended to study the racks of candies by the cash register but was really looking at the credit card a man was using to pay for a bag of unknown stuff. The camera in her eyes did their magic and focused on the card. Then they zoomed in on the numbers and snapped pictures. All saved in her twisted mind. Then Yavas handed five bucks to the cashier and grabbed a bag of 'War Heads X-tremes' then she walked out the door. The small girl headed to what looked like an ice chest. It was empty inside all except for a black duffle bag which she pulled a laptop out of. After a series of minutes the girl had all sorts of stupid crap purchased online with the poor man's credit card. Grinning mischievously she grabbed her stuff and ran.

  • (Alright, I have some ideas of how Yavas and the Doctor are connected. One of them is Yavas is the daughter or younger something of a woman the Doctor had fallen in love with, maybe before Rose or during the Eighth Doctor or something, or Yavas is the daughter or younger something of my OC named Akayla. (Or her Time Lady incarnate the Writer, I haven't really decided who she will be at first in this role play, Akayla or the Writer) So basically, in either idea Yavas will either be the daughter of the Doctor, or related to which ever woman he fell in love with. I'll let you choose idea 1 or 2 since Yavas is your character, and then once you decide I'll start role playing the Doctor.)

  • (Alright, I shall start role playing then!)
An odd sound of whirring filled one of the many alleyways in the city of New York. A blue box materialized settled between two stacks of cardboard boxes. With a final thump the box had landed, and a man with tousled brown hair and wearing a long brown coat, a brown striped suit with a brown tie and white under shirt, and red CONVERSE shoes opened the door. "Why did you bring me here?" The man wondered out loud. He walked outside of the box, his hands in his pockets of his coat. The brown haired man looked around, wondering what was so special about this alley way. He saw a poster nearby and walked over. He carefully tore down the poster and saw a picture of a girl that looked familiar. Walking inside the box, he went to do research on "Yavas". His name is the Doctor, and he travels time and space in that blue box called a TARDIS. Soon, the Doctor and Yava's destiny shall meet.

  • Yavas slowed to a jog and then to a walk as she neared the Doctor's location. She pulled the candy that she'd just bought and popped one into her mouth. Yavas grimaced at the sourness but then she shook her head. She was now at the Doctor's location and she saw the blue box. "Thats...off.." She murmered then she slowly walked over to it slowly. She pushed a few cardboard boxes out of the way and then she layed a cold hand on the blue box. A burning sensation exploded from the spot on her fingers that had touched the TARDIS and memorys flashed in her eyes. It surprised her so much that the small girl stumbled back and tripped over the cardboard boxes behind her. She went flailing back and laid there on the ground. "Yup. Very graceful. Good job me." She muttered angrily. Yavas scrambled to her feet and held the strap of her bag. She picked up a box and held it like a shield. Her eyes zoomed in on the box. "Whoever's in there..come out..Now!" She called and threw the box at the TARDIS as hard as she could.

  • Loading screens, the bane of his existence. Alright, that was a bit of lie, the Doctor still hated them. A message popped onto the screen, telling him someone was outside his TARDIS. The Doctor left the screen and opened the door, glaring at Yavas. "What?" He asked harshly, then realized she was the girl in the poster.

  • "Well for starters: your in a box that looks like it should be in an Brittish soap opera when your in the middle of New York city! And-" She was cut off once she caught sight of the poster in his hand. "I can explain that.. she's my." Her eyebrows crinkled together as she thought. "Twin sister.." Yavas rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Yeah..".

  • "Don't lie to me." The Doctor said, crossing his arms and giving her a disapproving glare. "Now, you can't get my TARDIS attention so easily, so what are you?" The Doctor asked, taking out his sonic screwdriver and scanning her. He looked at the readings and then into her eyes. "That is clever, not as clever as me, but clever." He then grinned and said excitedly, "you've got contact lenses that shouldn't exist for another 50 years!"
(Do I sound like I'm in character?)

  • "Oh. That's all your excited about? My lenses. " Yavas chuckled. "Well your mental but who's going to believe you eh? Ok I'll explain. " Her eyes zoomed in on his face and snapped a picture. "An accident made me.. lose an ability. An old man gave me these. I've used them for quite sometime now. " Yavas looked at the sky and frowned. "Ah great. Im late." She scowled. "Listen.. dude.. I really got to go." Her eyes glanced around nervously. "Really, you should go to. It's not going to be pretty if you stay.." Now the girl looked scared. Genuinely frightened really.. "Its..erm.. punks and gangs that come out at this hour. " But Yavas was lieing yet again. Something more powerful lurked at this hour.

    Yes.

  • (Alright, thanks!)
The Doctor grew annoyed, people listened to him, usually. He was definitely not mental, mad sure. But he is a madman who travels time and space in a blue box. There's a difference. He pointed his sonic screwdriver at Yavas' eyes, pressing the button and the tip lit up blue and it buzzed. He finished and put it back in a pocket in his coat. "There, your lenses are now disabled. You can see, but nothing else is special about it. Good thing too, your record is impressive." He then remembered something on her birth certificate and his jaw dropped as he stared at her in shock.
(What should the name of Yavas' mother?)

    Her eyes now ↑

Yavas grumbled angrily. "Jerk." She hissed under her breath. "You know, I don't wake up everyday to impress you!" She used her finger to rub the bone under her eye. "You know mister some people have reasons for doing things that they do-" She was cut off by the look on his face. "What?" Her eyes narrowed. "Listen.. maybe I should go. But that wasnt nice and by the nice side of me I'll let it roll right off my back. Goodbye." She said sarcastically and waved a hand.

    (Savy)

  • Yavas stopped and turned. "Wh-aa-tt" she whined. "Dude I have got to get back soon so this better be good. Now tell me." Her eyes narrowed. "The hell do you want?!"

  • The Doctor stared at her as she walked away. Savy. The Doctor made a mad dash to his TARDIS, he needed to make sure. One thing was for sure, those two would definitely cross paths once again.
