    Grinning, the young cougar sat outside the camp. He couldn't believe he forgot to go exploring the new territory with Aolani. It was a bit late for that, but they might as well do something. A walk, maybe some hunting. Some time together was way overdue. Stargazing? That wasn't a bad idea, he figured. He knew all about the constellations. Maybe he could show Aolani.[/justify]

    Ah, there it was. The old nickname. The clouded leopard had to admit she had missed being called that during the time the cougar had been gone. He was the only one who called her that, so hearing it was like some sort of reassurance now. Reassurance she wouldn't have to miss him again.




    Yawning, she padded outside. Though some together-time was indeed overdue, why'd it have to be when the Legate was trying to sleep? Aolani looked up at him and raised a nonexistent eyebrow. What was he up to at this hour?

    He's taking me back to the ship, isn't he? She wondered with surprise. How interesting. In curiosity and excitement, Aolani decided to quicken her pace, catching up with Loke. But what for?




    She certainly missed the ship, no doubt. Actually, she was pretty certain that everyone who had been around during the time they lived there probably missed it quite a bit. Aolani pondered quietly on why she didn't think of visiting the old camp before, as it indeed wasn't that far away.




    Still, he probably wasn't just taking her to the ship, she realized. The ship was still quite a walk, and he said he wanted to "show her something". It couldn't possibly be the ship.
