Kenjii lowered his head a bit more and lightly bit Marcus's ear before whispering into it. "Next time... you try and... heh... escape, dare say, I'll kill you with orders or without. I'll do it without a second thought." He then moved his head to where his face was just an inch from Marcus's.
Marcus gasped when his ear was bitten, and he nodded in understanding, not saying anything in favor of staying silent.

The insanity in Kenjii's gaze soon faded and he got off of Marcus, picking the boy up again. The hunter stayed silent, his gaze now dull. He had lost his sanity in front of Marcus... He had tried to contain himself. When he made it to the demon hunter's base, he threw Marcus at the feet of the leader of the base.
The leader of the base raised a brow, looking over the demon in distaste. "Lock him up. You'll kill him in the morning." He said, nodding with a victorious smile.
Marcus's eyes widened and he shoo his head, looking at Kenjii with a fearful look. "No.. Please, n-no..."

Kenjii looked at him, then at the base leader. He wasn't one to argue...well, not yet. He huffed but said nothing, picking Marcus up again and going to the containment unit of the base. He looked at Marcus with an unsure look and did what his leader had told him to do. This shifter was just a kid. Kenjii sat outside his cell and just looked at Marcus.
Marcus scooted as far away from Kenjii as his cell would allow, and he curled up weakly. There were tears in his eyes and his leg still hurt pretty bad. This was it.. He'd be killed in a few hours. He choked back a sob and buried his face in his knees, not even trying to be quiet as he sobbed brokenly.

Kenjii bit his lip and left the area, going to the base leader, looking rather mad. "This is just cruel." He growled, his hands balled up into fists. Kenjii was clearly not happy. He knew he had gone insane in front of the boy... and that he needed to make up for.
The leader raised an eyebrow at this. "Excuse me? Have you forgotten what you brought in? They are demons, Kenjii. Raging killing monsters that belong in hell. You're killing him tomorrow, or he'll be tortured to death by me. Those are your options." He said coldly, walking away.

Kenjii went back into the containment room and sat on the floor. He looked around at every security camera. He then looked at Marcus, paling. He just looked like a terrified young boy. He bit his lip. "I have to get him out of here..." He muttered quietly, trying to come up with some kind of plan.
Marcus was still sobbing in the corner, and he was leaned up against the wall. The demon was now hugging his knees tightly to his chest and his face wasn't buried. When perverse he saw the hunter come back though, he hid his face again.

Kenjii just looked up at the time, seeing that he still had a bit of time before the sun came up. He looked at Marcus and went up to his cell, being sure not to be suspicious to anyone watching the security cameras. "Kid, listen to me." He slid the cell key in with Marcus. "I am going to get you out of here. I'm sorry... Okay. I'm going to go downstairs and cut the power. When that happens, get out of your cell and meet me," Kenjii pointed on an area of a map of the base he had, "here. Don't get caught. I'm going to help you, just- just trust me." He said, all of this in a whisper and making sure he moved slow enough with his actions and that his voice was at a whisper.
Marcus looked up when he was called to, and he was about to interrupt and tell him to leave him alone, but when he saw the key and heard him, his eyes widened. "B-but.. Why...? I th-thought you were going t-to kill me...?" His voice was weak and broken, and he looked terrified. Why had he hunter him and brought him here just to help him escape? He wasn't sure whether or not he should trust him, but he figured he didn't have a choice if he wanted any chance at all to live.

"Listen, I was being a bit too rash, I didn't listen to you, and you're just a kid, okay? Just- trust me. I'm going to tell you now that this is probably going to cost me my job if they find out. Now, do what I told you to." Kenjii said and turned to leave, making sure the camera saw Kenjii looking irritated. Kenjii made his way downstairs, avoiding cameras and any other hunter there. He cut the power by slicing the wires messily with his claws to make sure it didn't look like his sharp claws had done that. He then made his way, unseen, back up the stairs. He knew the power outage would be noticed in a split second.
Marcus grabbed the key, fumbling with the lock and then limping out of his cell. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't a fast healing demon. He healed just like a normal person, so his leg was still pretty bad. He changed into a crow so that he could move without being heard or having to use his leg. The boy managed to make it out unseen and untouched, and he landed as a cat to avoid only landing with one foot. That way he could land with three and not hurt the injured on as bad.

Kenjii saw the cat shift from a crow and ran past it, swooping it up. He was hoping to get to the exit before the leader of the base suspected something, anything, and locked the doors down. Which, that, he could still do. Kenjii made his way towards the exit, hearing hunters being worried and confused.
Marcus mewled softly in surprise when he was picked up, and his hurt leg twitched a bit to get comfortable.
The leader was dying to calm everyone down, and he was making his way to the lockdown button. He suspected Kenjii had something to do with this because of his unsettling complaint.

Kenjii had finally made it to the door, setting the cat down and going back inside. "Meet me by the fountain by noon. If I'm not there, I'm probably dead, or busted." He said, having a stupid idea in his head. Before Marcus could reply, he ran back to the containment unit and letting several other demons out that were due to die later that day or night. One scratched him over the eye, leaving claw marks there. He scratched that demon before taking off and involving himself with other hunters.
Marcus looked confused, but did as he was told. He went ahead and went to the fountain, shifting back and leaning on it. After that he decided to change back into a cat and waited under the fountain to be less suspicious, hoping the hunter would make it out.

Kenjii slipped into the room where the base leader was at, a smirk on his face. "Well, well." He said, his voice unrecognizable. He went to another corner of the room with his hands balled up still. He heard scratching at the door. "Looks like your friends are ready to play..." He said with an insane chuckle.
The leader looked around, backing up as he searched for the lockdown switch. He wasn't sure who was in the room, so he was a little nervous. "What the f*ck is going on?!"
