IC: Jay sat back down, still eyeing the bush carefully. He closed his eyes again and rested his head on Gardevoir's. Jay had flashes of a memory in his head as he slept. A memory... of great pain. "...get away from her!" *thud* *angry growling* "Agh!" Jay had a small tear streaming from his eye, as if he was feeling physical pain.

Jay awoke in a cold sweat, panting hard. Gardevoir seemed to feel his fear and woke up startled. "Jay! What's wrong?" She said, concerned. "I-I had a nightmare, I suppose." Jay replied, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. "What was it about?" Gardevoir asked. "It was the time you were attacked by those wild Poochyena. When I first met you." Jay replied. "But that was six years ago... Why do you still have dreams about it?" Gardevoir wondered. "It was one of the only times I felt genuine terror... not so much for myself as for you. I don't know." Jay said. Gardevoir wrapped her arms around Jay, comforting him.

Jay blushed at Gardevoir's embrace, and he leaned his head on her shoulder. "Thank you, Gardevoir." He said. Gardevoir picked up one of the apples that had been thrown at them the previous day and handed it to him.

Jay stood up and looked around. "It's still early. We might be able to make it to Mistralon today. I don't suppose you guys are up for some mountain climbing?" He said, taking a bite out of the apple.
