    Ivory noticed the other hooded one beaconing her. She clearly hesitated but didn't want to be rude so she walked over. Her footsteps were too light like an air bender and her body frame too elegant. She just hoped they wouldn't notice as she assumed all three of them were fire benders.

    Ivory hesitated again. This could be a trick question but she answered truthfully anyways. "No, I wouldn't." She answered first, before the others. She pulled her hood down revealing her reddish brown hair and eyes. Well, eye.

    Cooper looked at her suspiciously. He was opening his mouth to answer when Jade cut in. "Of course not! If they're not doing anything wrong then I don't see a reason to." She told her. Cooper wondered why someone would ask that question. Then the two figures took off their hoods. He instantly tensed up, ready to fight if needed. Jade on the other hand, didn't seem to mind, she was just excited to meet people of other elements.

    Ivory moved her eye patch back over her orange eye and exposed her blue one. She immedeitly felt better but she still felt slightly tense because of the male fire bender. She finally nodded in response to the water bender's question. "Are you a water bender?" It was easy to guess but she just wanted her to say it.

    Cooper didn't trust the other Elements for a second, but Jade didn't care what Element they were. "My name's Jade and this is my brother Cooper. Nice to meet you!" She said cheerfully. Her brother kicked her in the leg and muttered through gritted teeth, "Don't tell them our names! They could just be spying for their villages." Jade let out a huff, sometimes Cooper should at least try to make friends with other Elements.

    Ana then told the 3 the things that her mom had told her as a child. Then she could tell what the boy named Cooper was thinking by his body language and facial expressions. "I'm not an enemy spy if that's what your thinking. I promise." She assured the teen with a warm smile. She then asked everyone if they wanted to be friends. Waiting for an answer, she glanced over at Cooper, who seemed like he would be a pretty nice guy after a while.

    Although Ivory was cautious of the other elements she was getting a little excited by the fact that she could actually be making friends. "My name is Ivory." She told them.

    Now taking off the whole cloak, she showed everyone her dress. It was a very special dress that her father had given her. It was a dress made of flowing water, but it stayed in the form of clothing. This was her favorite dress because she had received it just before her family died.

    Cooper felt his face turn a bright red. How did she kbow I didn't trust them? Jade answered Ana's question in a heartbeat. "Of course! " Then she turned to the water bender's dress. It made her flinch a little, being so close to water. Cooper wasn't fully trusting of the two strangers, but wasn't so anxious about them attacking anymore.

    "That's good to hear." She said to the excitable fire bender. Turning to her brother, she told him, "I knew what you were thinking because of your body language for one. And I learned that each element has their own special ability." Water could read minds, fire had better senses, air could see the past, and earth could control emotions. (ooc: sorry that's the best I could think of) "I actually learned it the other day, so I wouldn't think you guys would know." She added with a small chuckle. "Do you guys want to meet at the lake tomorrow in between all of the villages at the same time tomorrow?" She asked the group of all elements but one.

    Ivory found that interesting. Air benders can see the past? She wondered. Because of her isolation from other air benders it was expected that there were things she never got to learn. "I'll think about it." Ivory said not wanting to make any promises.

    Turning to walk home, Ana started singing. It was the song her mom always used to sing to her whenever she was sad. She didn't think she was the best singer, but others seemed to think different. She forgot about the others behind her when she started running home with a melody.


    When she got home she was greeted with, "Hello dear." with a warm smile from Mrs. Rivers. Going to her room, she started drawing again. She drew the three people that she had met that day. She may have actually made her very first friends. She, a quiet, shy girl, made friends. These pictures she didn't hang on the wall, because when the adults came into her room, they would see that she drew other elements and they would get suspicious. That said, she left the three drawings on her desk, under a pile of blank papers.

    Ivory have a small wave goodbye and walked back into the forest she appeared from. She put up her silver hood and when she was behind the cover of the trees she whistled. Navinne heard and ran to her immediately. The conpanion had been anxious about her. Ivory jumped on his back and they headed home.

    Jade nodded. "See you tomorrow!" Then turned to Cooper and began scolding him for thinking. "You should've known they read thoughts! I can't believe you thought she was a spy! She was so nice! And-" Cooper ignored his sister, who kept talking about how 'rude' he had been back there as they walked home. He couldn't believe her sister had actually accepted the water bender's request to go to the lake tomorrow. It's a lake! Full of water! What was she thinking? That was another thing. Water Elements read minds? He'd have to keep his head blank when around Ana. For Jade, that wouldn't be a problem. She barely ever thought of something she didn't tell everyone.


    As they walked into the house Jade collapsed onto her bed. "I can't wait for tomorrow!" She exclaimed, though in her excitement setting herself, and the bed, on fire. She let out a tiny curse at herself and fell asleep in the flaming bed,the fire of course not hurting her. Cooper lay on his bed and stared at the ceiling. Maybe I should trust other elements? He shook his head and fell into a restless sleep.

    The next day, she went to the lake, telling the Rivers' that she was going swimming. When she got there, she didn't see anyone. She was the only one at the lake, and she wondered if they remembered to come.

    Jade leaped up from her singed bed and ran into Cooper's room. "WAKE UP WE'RE MEETING THE OTHER ELEMENTS AT THE LAKE TODAY REMEMBER?!" Cooper's head snapped up and he covered his ears. "I remember! Just get into some day clothes and I'll meet you outside." He got into his normal clothes as well and went outside, where Jade was tapping her foot impatiently and part of her clothes were burned. "Come on slowpoke let's go!" She bolted to the lake, and Cooper followed close behind. Jade saw Ana at the lake far before they got there, using her advanced senses. "Hi!" She exclaimed as she stopped running by the lake to face Ana.

    Ivory had a good rest and woke up with the sun shining in through her window. Navinne was about an inch away from Ivory's face with his tongue rolling out the side of his mouth. Ivory pushed his face away but he jumped on her bed. She laughed then got up and dressed herself. "Now we're going to meet other elements so be nice." She warned him.


    They were the last ones to arrive to the lake. Air benders were never really in any hurry but she wondered how long they waited. After Navinne and Ivory landed she jumped off and walked other to them, this time with no cloak. "Hello." She greeted.
