    [align=center][font=arial][color=white]Luke watched as the girl stepped out of the shelves and faced him, though she still hid behind a curtain of hair. He guessed she was either shy or defensive from being called out and remembered he should be cautious. In the past five years, he'd encountered at least a few people with malicious tendencies and didn't want any repeat of those situations. He decided to try speaking with a calm voice at first, both to calm her down and to keep the voices quiet
    'You don't really need to hide. I'm not going to attack or anything,' he reassured. 'Anyways, I'm Luke. What's your name?'

    [[ wow, okay?? i've been gone quite a while due to irl problems... so, i guess this thread will be pretty inactive for a week, and i can't remember where kiyo was... ]]

    She hesitantly took another step towards Luke, still a little unsure about everything, "Um..I'm Amaya." she said, tugging at her hair, a habit she had when she got nervous about something. It was certainly long enough for the habit.

    Her eyes widened as the Eybdoog's haunches tensed, and she struggled to get away, her world spinning while pain lanced through her head. The Eybdoog pounced, and Madon shut her eyes tightly.

    "Yeah"Aaoki smiled holding her drawing pad closer.


    Sukui jumped closer to Hauru when she heard the screech."Yes"She shivered."What was that?"

    ic: Madon's eyes slowly opened when she did not feel the body of the Eybdoog. Her heart came to her throat when she realized what had truly happened. Her body...was gone. Wait..not gone...it floated around her, and the only thing she actually felt was her consciousness. She would have let out a scream, but she had no vocal cords, and the Eybdoog seemed to be just as confused as she.

    Luke nodded, hoping that his questions wouldn't overwhelm her.
    'Are you a freshman?' he said before feeling something bump into him. He took a step back and looked down at the ground with alarm, the shadows around him rising and waiting. Once he saw it was just a girl, he had them settle down.
    'Hey, are you alright? How did you get in here?' he asked, wondering if he let his guard down too much. Glancing towards Amaya, he hoped the girl's sudden appearance wouldn't scare her away.


    Haru took a step to the side when Sukui edged closer to him, uncomfortable with having people near him. 'I'm not sure. Wanna go find out?'

    Sukui felt herself fall to the side onto his back"Oops sorry I'm very clumsy"

    [align=center][font=arial][color=white]Haru moved away quickly, looking both irritated and embarrassed. 'Well, don't fall on me. Do you wanna go find out whose making that noise or not?' he repeated.

    The girl's appearance had a shock sent through Amaya, and she found herself bolting like a panicked deer. She didn't know exactly what caused her to do it, but she didn't want to leave the library. The smell of old books and the leather always calmed her, so she merely vanished deeper into the shelves.

    Madon swallowed, or would have. She willed herself away from the Eybdoog, which seemed to work...slowly. She was more of inching like a snail away from the large creature, which seemed to be scenting for her. It let out a fierce part growl, part snarling sound, and if Madon had been whole, it surely would have caused her to cover her ears.

    [align=center][font=arial][color=white]Luke turned towards Amaya as she sped away deeper into the shelves. He wasn't sure what was in the back but he knew there more of those monsters lurking around the large library. He glanced at the girl who was on the ground and decided she'd probably be safe. Just in case, though, he decided to keep watch through the shadows in case something happened. Thankfully the woozy effect from using his power earlier was gone so he'd be able to spare some of his energy.
    'I'm sorry, I'll be right back,' he apologized quickly before following after Amaya.


    Haru nodded and turned away, not wanting to make eye contact with Sukui. He started heading towards the door of the cafeteria and knew that she would be following close behind.

    Sukui followed closley behin knowing she would trip at any moment

    Amaya had completely disappeared from sight, finding a small corner where she finally felt safe, and tons of old books around her. She slowly sat down, pulling her backpack off and setting it next to her. She would have to go to the cafeteria soon to look for food, she was starting to feel shaky.

    The Eybdoog hunting for Madon let out a roar, stalking the area, and Madon willed herself upwards, rather than away from the large creature. With another glance around, she found that she was nothing more than a small cloud of red dust, floating around in the air.
