He checked the chances of that happening and realized he might not get this chance again. 27% was pretty low after all. He stuffed the wrappers in his backpack and cautiously walked over to her, his hand clutched loosely around his knife. He was still defensive and wary of her. After having so many things try to kill him, Haru wasn't going to take any chances
    'Hey. Are you another student?' he asked.

    Lucas entered the library quietly, knowing there was probably some monsters lurking about. He wanted to see if there was anything here, maybe even a note, that talked about the monsters. The first thing he went to was the librarian's desk, which was messy and had stains all over the counter. Nothing immediately sparked his interest so he decided to dig a little deeper and go through the drawers. Shadows swirled around his feet as he heard something move in front of him and he ducked down. The voices were starting to increase their volume to a shout, making his head ache.


    Peering over the counter, he couldn't see anything at first but a glance down the aisle told him the monster was getting nearer. Taking a deep breath, Luke poised his shadows to attack the moving Eybdoog and quickly wrangled it in a flurry of darkness. He tightened the shadows and the thing disappeared quietly, constricted by the mass of umbra. Though he was dizzy from using his ability, he continued to search the drawers again. 'There has to be something here,' he thought desperately.

    "Yes I'm a student"Sukui says walking closer to him but not to close.

    Amaya stopped just outside the library, pausing at the cracked door. She frowned, knowing that the doors to the library were always closed when she came down here. Which meant someone was inside. She gently pushed open the door wide enough for her to squeeze through, trying her best to move as silently as possible.

    After a few moments more of running, Madon slowed to a walk, no longer within earshot of the people she had heard talking. Sighing in relief, she took a few minutes to take a breather, leaning against a wall. When she caught her breath, she looked around, wondering where she was. Before she could really do anything, the wall behind her shifted. She froze. Walls don't shift. Every instinct in her body screamed for to just run away, but the stupid side of her made her slowly look over her shoulder, and straight into the face of an Eybdoog.

I'm Haruto, what's yours?' he asked, trying to put on a smile. He was a little nervous as he could feel a few percentages start to slip around, making it more likely for monsters to show up or for other bad things to happen. Taking a couple light breaths, he settled the percentages before refocusing on Sukui's reply.

    Luke moved aside files at the bottom drawer and, after finding a bloody note, he stuffed it quickly into his pocket to examine later. There was something nearby. He closed his eyes and felt shadows move, the figure casting a shadow despite the dim lighting. He stood up carefully and held onto the counter to steady himself. He knew it wasn't an Eybdoog since they didn't have shadows so it most likely was another student. Wondering if he should confront them, he decided to continue searching and await whoever comes. His eyes looked back down at the desk when a pain in his head nearly made him keel over. The voices were heightened again from their whispering and were nearly shouting.
    'Stop!' he muttered, clenching his fist in his black hair. The pain subsided a little at his words but the voices still buzzed at his ears. Still, Luke had dealt with worse. He brushed down his hair and pushed back his glasses, trying to look as normal as he could. He looked behind him and pulled a chair out to sit on before continuing to absently fiddle through random papers,

    Amaya looked around the library, eyes wide. She had always been secretly a bookworm, and she always felt protective over abused books. She silently made her way further into the library, pausing at a shelf. Between the books she could see Luke, fiddling with something with his back to her. She swallowed hard, wondering if she should call out to him, or simply leave.

    Madon's eyes widened, and her mouth opened to let out a scream, but nothing came. The Eybdoog slowly turned towards her, its long claws flicking at its sides. Her lungs seized, and it felt like her heart was in her throat as her body froze in terror. The Eybdoog turned its eyes on her, before opening its mouth, and releasing an enormous snarl.
    The scream that she hadn't been able to yell came out of her, and everything clicked into place as the Eybdoog lashed out at her. She ducked, rolling towards the monster, while it leaped with surprising agility, raking its other set of claws down one of Madon's arms.

It was kinda hard to talk again with people after having so little human contact. Mostly he was on alert just in case Sukui leapt at him or something but she seemed to just want someone to talk to. He looked offf to the cafeteria exit and heard a faint shrill, making his blood turn to ice.
    'Hey, did you hear that too?' he asked, 'I think someone's out there. His percentages didn't tell much about the likelihood of who exactly the screech belong to, but odds were leaning on it being human.

    Though his eyes appeared to stare at the papers before him, Luke felt the figure move from the doorway to the shelves behind him. It surprised him that he still felt the same hesitance with approaching people but thankfully it was a lot less dim. A few years ago he'd probably freeze in place and wait for her to approach him. Now, he straightened his back and turned around to look at her. He forced the shadows to stay still but because of his earlier power use they clung around his legs like ivy vines. The voices were quieter than usual and Luke could tell they were interested in the new person. Well, he thought, as long as they're quiet I don't really care.
    'I know you're behind me. I can kinda sense you moving,' he said, keeping his voice low enough to avoid the monsters hearing him.

    Aoi saw Aaoki and waved at her. "Hey. Nice to see someone else besides monsters, huh?" Aoi smiled. "Hey, maybe we can fight together! That would be fun!"



    Tsuyoshi sighed. "I don't know Kaito… I want to get out as much as you do. I-I want to see my old friends again… I actually was thinking of a plan myself… But it probably would not work… Have you been thinking about a plan, Kaito?" Tsuyoshi got up and opened the door to his dorm. (( I saw Violet! posted something with Tsuyoshi too! )) He looked around, to see someone. Some girl who seems to have bad eyesight. He could tell by looking at her eyes. "Uh, hi! My name is Tsuyoshi Ikeda. What is yours? Oh, I may not look familar because I am new…" He looked behind him, at his dorm. He forgot to close the door! Oops! And he just left his brother…




    In case people were wondering how the newbies got into the school, the adds for the school are still there. No one knows of the monsters. As soon as you walk into the school, the doors lock and you can't get out.

    Kaito told Tsuyoshi "No I haven't really thought of a plan much." Then he watched as his brother walked out and thought he would be right back. And then he saw the Eybdoog creeping into the dorm. He screamed and sent a blast of ice cold water at it, but that just stopped it for a second "Tsuyoshi! Help!" He sent a blast of water at its feet and then froze it, hoping that would stop it for a second.

    Amaya bit her lip, Luke's words making her throat run dry. She slowly came out of her hiding place, hiding her face behind her hair, 'What kind of powers let you sense people?' she wondered lightly, coming around the bookshelf, but no closer to Luke.

    Madon let out another cry, this one for the pain that shot through her arm. It wasn't her dominant one, thankfully, but it was still an arm. She sprang to her feet, going to run, but jaws sank into the shoulder of her left arm, her hurt one, and she didn't even have time to fight before the Eybdoog shook her like a dog to a squirrel and releasing her. She hit the base of a wall, her head cracking into the stone, 'Why does this always happen to me?' was the one thought that came through her mind as the Eybdoog began to stalk towards her.

    "Oh crap!! Sorry!" Tsuyoshi yelled. He ran over to his brother. "Should I do my power? I don't want to burn our dorm!" Tsuyoshi was not very good at controlling his fire yet. It could spread like a wild fire! (( See what I did there? )) He moved his hand, taking the risk, and set the monster on fire. "Come over here, Kaito!" The fire quickly spread. "Take out the fire with your magic! Quick!"

    "I-I don't know!" Tsuyoshi cried. He looked around. "We have to find it!" Tsuyoshi put his hands over his eyes. "Kaito… Why can't we go home? I miss everyone…"

    "Tsuyoshi you need to calm down. It's going to be okay. We just need to find it." Kaito put a hand on his shoulder. He sent a wave of water around the room, trying to find out where the monster is.
