The cats of FrostClan are descendants of an ancient clan that once lived in the mountains where they live now. Most of the clan were unable to survive in the harsh environment, but the survivors went on to form what is now FrostClan. For moons the cats of this clan had travelers coming through and getting killed or lost in the mountains. Many of these survivors joined FrostClan because they had no other place to go. Now other cats that range from rouges to other traveling clan-cats are welcomed and given shelter from the deadly cold. Even when it is not snowing or cold, the cats of FrostClan give guidance through the mountains and protection from the monsters that lurk in every darkness.
Rᴇʟɪɢɪᴏɴ
The cats in FrostClan have a very special religion. Since they have many cats that believe in different things, the third leader decided to combine each of them into an entirely separate religion for all to share.
They believe that each cat, when they die, first go to "The Place Of Judgement" where the cat is judged based on what they did in their life on earth. Then either go to the "Forest of Light," for those who did good in their lives, or the "Frozen Abyss," for those who did not follow the laws written out by the "Lords of Light," or they are cast down to earth and left to watch those they left behind.
The "Lords of Light" are the overlords of the "Forest of Light" and give wisdom to the cats below. This is done through healers and the ones they are training. They control the weather, earth, life & death, and time. The cats have names for each Lord:
<<Weather>>
Skiton, Lord of Weather
<<Earth>>
Earthus, Mother of the Earth
<<Life & Death>>
Cybeirion, Lord of Life & Death
<<Time>>
Kanitus, Mother of Time

::Leader::
The Leader's rank is inherited by the eldest of it's offspring. If the Leader decides not to have any kits, then a ceremony is held to choose the successor.
::Deputy::
The deputy rank is second in command making decisions along side the Leader. The deputy is not the first in command, so they must submit themselves to the Leader's will.
::Healers::
The clan's healers are the ones who go and talk to the "Lords of Light" and heal those who are sick. There are three of them, each able to take on their own apprentice.
::Guides::
The guides are the ones who take traveling cats through the mountains and protect them from danger. They spend most of their lives from the point when they first agree to be a guide learning the routes through the mountains. There can be up to ten in the clan.
::Trainee Guides::
The guide version of apprentices. They are given an mentor, and learn the ways through the mountains.
::Watchers::
Watchers are the eyes of the clan. They watch out for danger and will send messages back to the clan when they find something suspicious. They surround the camp and go with guides to protect them. The warriors take turns each being a watcher for a moon, then switch out with another.
::Warriors::
Warriors fight and hunt for the clan. They can each have one apprentice, and they train until they master each skill needed.
::Apprentices::
The apprentices are young cats who are training to become one of the above. They begin their training from the age of 5 moons, and are given to an adult cat to be trained in whatever they wish to become. This requires a special ceremony.
::Queens::
The queens are the mothers of kits. They raise their kits in the safety of the clan. Younger cats, such as apprentices, are given the right to visit as long as they help out.
::Kits::
The kits are the youngest cats in the clan. They aren't Apprentices yet, and are still feeding on their mother's milk.
::Elders::
Elders are retired warriors, queens, etc. who are too old to do their job. They entertain the kits with their stories of adventure.

Shardrocks are an area of jutting rocks that come out from the cliff face. Elders like to go here to soak up the sunlight. This area isn't far from the camp, but watchers still watch it just in case. Kits sometimes come here with their mothers too.

Timberwood is the forest below the camp. Warriors go there to hunt for prey during the winter, but they face the peril of climbing the mountain in the cold. They also train their apprentices here as well.

The Cystalpond is an area deep with in the mountain through a dark tunnel. Healers and the Nobel come here to talk to the "Lords of Light."

The creek is a small waterfall inside the camp where tiny fish swim and cats can drink and bathe in. Kits like to try and catch these fish, but they always put them back in the water when they do. This is also the small amount of vegetation found in the camp. Few other plants grow nearby.

The tunnels are abandoned and no two-legs seem to come here. The elders tell stories of monsters lurking inside to scare the kits. Nobody really knows what's in there, but they sometimes hear loud rumblings from inside. It has become a rule that no cat is to go inside as those who have never returned.

ᴄᴀᴍᴘ
The camp is a large cave, half exposed to the elements. The cats seek refuge in the holes on the sides of the walls. Some narrow walkways curve up the sides of the cave, to small holes in the wall. These are also used as dens. Stalagmites growing up from the ground are used to hold things like herbs or prey.
The leader's and deputy's den is in one of the upper dens on the wall. Towers of rock lead up to it, and cats don't have to just use the pathway. The den is roomy, and the floor is covered in a fine grey sand. Mossy areas of the floor are used as nests for sleeping.
The healers and their apprentices share a den the is located at the back of the cave. It is a large and spacious den with pools of fresh mountain water drip from the ceiling. A smaller den is connected to this one, and can be accessed in the front, or through the healers' den. It is used for patients.
The guides' den is a hole on the lower part of the wall. Some large slabs of rock lean against the opening, with moss and vine-like plants growing over them. The inside is like a normal den, but has a very small and narrow tunnel that leads to the outside.
The warriors' den is on the upper level of the cave, but on the opposite side of the Leader's den. The creek runs down the wall beside the opening of the den. The inside is room enough for all the warriors, with shiny colored rocks on the walls.
The apprentices' den is similar to the warriors' den, but in between the lower and upper level. The path to the Warriors' den branches down to the apprentices' den. The inside is a bit smaller, but still enough room.
The nursery is on the lower level of the cave, beside the pool of water below the creek. Very large slabs of rock lean up against the entrance so that you can only enter from the sides. On one side, by the pool, vines line the gap between the wall and slab to form a sort of screen. Dirt also is found inside the nursery where small and soft ferns grow.
The elders' den is directly beside the nursery and is connected only by a small hole in the thin wall. Vines also grow to form a thin screen, but is prevented from doing so by the mischievous kits climbing in and out. The insides of the two dens are alike.
Dirt and moss cover the floor of the large cave and pools of water feed growing plants. Tall ferns also grow here, but most plants die in the winter when the water freezes over.
