Calem followed behind Phoenix and Elf, looking at the gatekeeper with a nervous jolt in his stomach. He was getting sorted soon! He didn't know what house he'd be in. What house would he be in? His mind was sent through waves of a near panic, but he took a deep breath to calm them. Cohra passed in front of Calem, looking towards the thestrals at the carriages. "They're awesome!" She exclaimed. Calem turned looked at her, confused. "What are awesome?" He asked.
"The thestrals!"
"What thestrals? Where?" Calem asked, excited. He never saw a thestrals before!
"Pulling the carriages. But, you haven't seen anyone die, have you?" Cohra said, her tone dropping.
"No... who'd you see?" He asked. Cohra remained silent, and Calem guessed he hit a nerve. Dropping the subject, he turned his attention to the groundskeepers words.

Holly could see the thestral's perfectly fine. And well she could only see them because she had watched her grandmother die of old age, she still found them quite amazing. -
Elextra had quieted down by now as she listened to the Gameskeeper.Ravyn however, wasn't, and was in her own world, daydreaming. She usually snapped out of it if you slapped her, though. And Elextra did, not quietly.
" Ow, what was that for?" she whined.
"You weren't paying attention."said Elextra simply. -

(Caretaker) Come on you lot its time we begin our ride to hogwarts got your partners, Good off we go! He yelled as the boats lurched forward

Melody scrambled into a boat and sat down.
Ariana and Laurel glanced at each other and took their own boat.
"I wonder what House I'll be in..." Ariana murmured, staring at the water.
"Whatever House it is, we'll find out soon." -
Whoever was paired with Elextra and Ravyn had very bad luck, indeed. Halfway through, they capsized the boat. Actually, it wasn't on purpose, they were just prone to accidents.

Holly recalled how nervous she had been when she first arrived at Hogwarts, and she wandered how her friends felt now. Last year one of her favorite things to do had been to hang out by the black lake, it's murky waters always made her question what was in it, what did Hogwarts hide? -
" Oh forgot to tell yeh' name's Nicholson, Arnold Nicholson." He shouted towards the students. "If you need any help just visit me at me hut in on the school grounds."

"Now Pay attention very closely im going to give you some instructions we are going to enter a cave under howarts. You're gonna wanna duck unless you want to end up like those kids who capsized their boat." Arnold advised the kids.

Holly nudged and laughed with her friends as they arrived at the castle. -
Cohra nearly fell out of the boat as she climbed in next to Calem, seeing as there was no other choice. Her gaze remained on the castle, which was like a torch in a dark room, shining brightly and stunning her eyes. The boats rowed themselves, adding to the mystical effect of the castle. Unlike Calem, who was obviously quite nervous about the sorting, Cohra didn't mind, much. She new that she would be put in the right house, whether it be Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or, preferably to her, Gryffindor.

"Alright everyone ready DUCK!" Arnold screamed as the boats began to enter the cave. He gazed at the layout of the cave. There were stalagmites everywhere soon they reached the end of the dock where the headmaster stood waiting."Ah, Arnold i hope the trip was pleasant?" Twitnip asked. "Little rough couple youngsters fell in but no trouble really. OK everybody 'm gonna leave you in the hands of your headmaster Twitnip Needlsty a damn good wizard at it have a wonderful evening see ye at the feast." With that Arnold left the cave." May i have your attention please if you may follow me we will begin to make our way to the Great Hall!"

With a excited smile, the young witch stared at Hogwarts, absolutely amazed! She didn't know much of this new wizarding world at all! Her bright green eyes a hazel color in the darkness of the night and the light of the castle. Her bony frame looked like a sheet of paper in the darkness. Staring at the headmaster in absolute terror. -
Melody stepped out of her boat and onto the dock, merging with the crowd of students. She took a few deep breaths and shook her head.
Ariana and Laurel got out of the boat and grinned at each other.
"I'm so excited!" Ariana whispered.
"Me too!" Laurel replied. -
Ravyn glared at Elextra.
"That was your fault." she says, squeezing her brown hair of water.
"Yours too!" Elextra defended. Ravyn rolled her eyes, then gasped as they got sight of the castle. -
" So first years are you ready to start your first year at Hogwarts?" Twitnip questioned. Then gazed over the crowd finally his eyes rested onto Phoenix."What is your name young chap?"
