    I listened. It was so terrible to hear. "Well if I can help it she won't have to go back to that jerk again." I said with a frown. "So where to first?" I asked. Then I realized I hadn't any money. Not in any bank in this area with their currency. "Can we start with a bank I need to convert my bank over to Pounds or Euros or what ever you use and set an account up over here."

    Max started the car, "I'm pleased to hear your as protective as ever." He smiled, "And too the bank we shall go, tomorrow we can fo flat hunting! ~"

    (I know I should know this but your from the UK right? I swear I know someone on hear I RP with often who's from the UK. Scotland I believe.)


    "Right. The sooner I can get out the better for everyone." I said with a smile. "So what have you and Dawn been up to? Well besides your break up with Catina."

    "Dawn is engaged, and I'm working up a career as a Author." Max drew the car to a halt, tilting his head.


    (Nope, I wish though.)

    I looked at him when he tilted his head. "Did I say something wrong. Oh no your mad at me for something aren't you. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to." I said figuring he would soon tell me to get out and walk the rest of the way.

    "You can stop that. Stop insisting your a bother. " Max sighed, "Do you think Aroura actually cares that you now live with her? God this is the happiest she's been for years now. Trust me, she really really really wants you to stay... Max sighed, rubbing his eyes briefly.

    I listened then bit my lip as I was once again going to protest. This time it was Carly but I knew that wouldn't fly. He had already said he left his own kids with her. "Right. Well um... Shall we keep going then. Who knows maybe I'll just stay then. Someone could be her body guard keep her from that jerk."

    Max sighed, continued the drive, his thoughts drifting and clouding his thinking.

    The car fell into an awkward silence so I turned to watching out the window. I watched the scenery but give the state of things it all seemed so dull and lifeless. I wanted to look away but there was nothing better to look to.

    "Alex," Max started again, softly and slowly, "May I inquire why you stayed with...Belinda if you weren't happy?"

    "For our daughter. I didn't want her growing up like she did with both her parents split. They are back together now but that only happened last year. That's kind of why we came here in the first place. If I hadn't had Carly I'd have left her so easily like everyone else."

    "I see," Max replied slowly, pulling into a parking lot of the bank, "Here we go~"

    I got out. "Thank you." I said before walking in. I was nervous about this as it wasn't any bank I had been to in the US. "Hello I'd like to start an account and convert all my money and transfer it all over here." I said to the bank teller my heart racing for fear of failure.

    Max followed after, running a hand through his hair repeatedly, looking rather tired. "Okay, sir. " The teller was kind enough to walk him through the process.

    I was relieved when it was over. Of course I was lucky all my money could be changed over so I wasn't broke. "Thank you so much. Have a great day." I said with a large smile and looked to Max. "Well then what's next?"

    "Hmm.... Let's atop by the real estate place, juat to see what houses they have at the moment. And i'll keep a ear out for any flats that might be open." Max finally decided.


    Omg I swear I replied ! I'M so sorry!~

    (It's fine. I've been so busy and distracted by stuff that I haven't really had time to keep up on all my RP's.)


    "Awesome. Thanks so much. With some luck I'll be living on my own in about six months." I said and got into the car. "Do you think what I'm doing is right? Just leaving Aurora like that? I know you say she doesn't see me as a bother but I have Clair too. She can be a hand full sometimes."

    "Aroura loves kids, babies especially. " Max climbed in after starting the car. "Besides, maybe six months from now you won't need a flat." He hinted, a soft undertone.

    (I'm so sorry for being so inactive. I've been so busy then when I can relax I'm exhausted.)


    I nodded. I had a feeling I knew what he meant but there was nothing more I could do. "So after the realtor we head back to Auroura's? I can't wait to see my baby again." I said eagerly. A brief idea popped into my head but he knew what I meant right?

    I understand, it's like that for me too!~


    A small smirk touched Max's lips, "Okay," He glanced at Alex before returning jis haze back to the road. He and Dawn would have to play the role of matchmaker, again.
