    "Okay, suit your self." I ate the rest of my granola bar. I wondered why she ignored my question about being so distant. "So, how did you end up here?" I asked.

    [size=7pt][color=black]I sighed softly. "Eh. Before this 'disaster' happened, my parents were killed a couple months ago in a car accident. Me and my sister had to go live with my uncle. Worst thing ever. He abused us a lot. I ran away. Now I'm here." I say. I didn't mention my ex boyfriend and what he did to me. Id rather have that be left unsaid. [/fancypost]

    "Oh." I said nothing, this was awkwarder enough. I walked to where I met Hanna and Luke. We picked them up and we started walking all over again. This would be hard, the Arkanasis Pave was hard to find, it was found through tons of tunnels, caves, and routes. It seemed like we were walking forever, but I saw a sign (the green signs you see on the streets). "Hey look, Faryn, James, Hanna and Luke."

    Hanna glanced around. She realized how alone they were.


    Luke looked around seeing a figure in the trees.


    Dylan jumped down holding his weapon up. "Humans?"

    "Haha, kidding. The sign is practically gone." I said, joking. But I could make out an "asis" in the sign. "Guys, let's go this way." I started walking in the direction the sign was pointing at. This is a great start, only 23025 days to go. I stopped walking, completely forgetting that the man was in the tree. "Yes, we're humans." And I keeped walking LIKABOSS.

    [size=7pt][color=black]I wandered off from the group as a small rodent caught my eye. I was hungry and it looked pretty good to eat. I didn't really care how I ate it. Alive or dead, I just had to catch it.[/fancypost]

    A couple minutes later James realized Faryn wasn't there next to them. Be put a hand on Melodys shoulder to get her attention "Faryn is gone...I don't know where she is."

    I turned back, going back to the spot where the sign was. There, I saw a figure in the dusty air, the figure was hunching. "Is that you Fa-" I stopped. I saw Faryn eating a rodent. I screamed, but put my hand over my mouth. She was a zombie. I ran to James and said, "Faryn is a zombie! I-she I- I SAW HER EATING A RODENT!" I was close to fainting.

    James' eyes widened in horror. He looked at Melody and put his hands on her shoulders trying to calm her down "slow down melody...where is she? We have to try and help her..."

    [size=7pt][color=black]I stood up and licked my fingers clean. That called my hunger down just a bit, but not too much. I turned around and stared at Melody and James, my eyes a sunken dark color and my skin was pale. They seemed scared of me now but it's not like i cared anymore.[/fancypost]

    James stared at Faryn, he finally believed that she was a zombie "Melody....I think we should run." He whispered to her. Although he didn't really want to. He wished there was a way he could save Faryn from her horrifying fate.

    [size=7pt][color=black]I sighed and closed my eyes. I snapped out of that zombie mode state. They were truly scared of me, so I didn't bother trying to approach them. Now they were gonna leave me behind, and I would be alone once more. [/fancypost]

    "No. We can't leave her. We can't. Although she is a zombie, she can still help right?" I looked at Faryn. "Faryn, you can control yourself, can't you?" I asked her. Nobody must be left behind.

    James watched Faryn closely, he didn't think she would try and hurt them. Maybe zombies weren't like what everyone thought? Maybe they really could control themselves. James hoped that was the case, he wouldn't want to have to hurt Faryn or leave her behind.
