    Abigail smiled "well, it didn't take too much effort. We just smashed up some vegetables." She said with a shrug while James walked over to them "hey Sis." He muttered.

    James sat on the couch while Melody left the room, Abigail walked over and stood in front of him, crossing her arms over her chest and staring at him "So....you and Melody huh?"
    "what? No!" James said back, "what made you-" before he could finish Abigail cut him off
    "come on James, I see the way you look at her. She might not see it but I sure do."

    Melody heard the 2 sblings talk, but not clearly. The baby was awake so she put the baby outfit on her. She looked perfect. Melody put the rest of the baby things on the shelves in the room.

    James sighed and laid his head back against the cushions on the couch "Abigail....stop okay? It's not like that...."
    Abigail huffed "right now it isn't..but you want it to be." She said back with a straight face

    She organized the things, and at the bottom she found a empty notebook. She took it out and went to Donny's room. She put it on a blue shelf near her bed, thinking that it would be perfect for her.

    Abigail and James finished talking a short while later, they hugged for a while before she walked over to the stairs and called up to Melody "bye Melody! I'm leaving now!"

    "Bye!" Melody said while walking down the stairs. "I'm going to go explore." She said, opening the door. "I'll see you later.." She said awkwardly. Leaving the house, she went off to explore the farms.

    Kes nodded as she left and stood in the house a bit awkwardly, not really sure what he should do now. After a short while he decided he would work on things around the house to make it look better. There were a few holes in the wall that needed to be patched up, a few windows were cracked and the carpet just looked terrible.

    Melody skipped around happily, glad that a few people greeted her. She arrived at the farm, and they gave her some samples. She ate squash, corn, potatoes and some carrots. It was delicious. She decided she wanted to buy some for tonight's dinner. She bought a few vegetables and walked back home.

    James had managed to rip out the carpets all throughout the house, uncovering the hardwood floors underneath which were all in good condition. He had gone out and found a couple buckets of paint and gave the walls if the living room and kitchen a new coat, he had to admit....it was starting to look homey.

    She opened the door with a lot of vegetables in hand, heavy. "James, could you help me?" She said, opening the door revealing the colorful home. "Wow! Did you do this?" She asked.

    James nodded, a few beads if sweat dripping down his forehead "yeah..what do you think?" He asked while taking all the vegetables from her and bringing them into the kitchen.

    James chuckled slightly and set everything down on the counter "I'm glad you like it. I used to do construction work with my dad before....well before all of this."

    Melody frowned at the thought. Whenever someone mentions 'all of this' she cringes and starts to punch a pillow. She calmed herself. "I'm going to make lunch." It was already 1:40.



    ooc- I think they woke up at 7, well at least that's what I think lol

    James nodded "Alright....I'm gonna go take a shower." He said softly while walking out of the room and up the stairs to the small bathroom.

    Melody put water in a pot and dunked the potatoes in. She would make mashed potatoes and steamed corn for lunch. She chopped the potatoes and dunked them in the boiling water.

    James came back down stairs a short while later in a white t-shirt and jeans. All showed and clean. "How is the food coming?" He asked while walking into the kitchen.

    "Great." She stuck a knife in one of the potatoes and it was soft. She turned off the stove drained the hot water near the sink. The hot water hurt but she attempted not to yell. She started mashing the potatoes and looked for other things to put in like milk and salt.
