Lenik after a practically a whole day of training healed his pokemon and rested on a bench that had quite the view of the sunset. It is by the south side of the city just in front of the pokemon center. Just then Lenik asked his pokemon, "you guys want to watch the sunset?" All of them but gastly popped out of their pokeballs, at that moment. In response Lenik whispered to gastly's pokeball alright gastly I'll take you out when the moon starts to rise i suppose gastly's shook once as a response. "I'll take that as a yes" Lenik beldum and charmander all watched as the sun slowly turned the sky a nice orange/red hue. After the moment passed gastly came out of the pokeball and began to speak to the other 2 pokemon. Meanwhile Lenik just relaxed on the bench and smiled.

Corry and Blake arrived in Ecruteak soon after nightfall. "Hurry, we have to get to Route 38 before it gets too dark to see!" She dashed to the Pokecenter, more visible because of it's florescent orange lights. She passed a boy with a bunch of Pokemon surrounding him. "Gotta get inside, gotta get inside," she repeated, entering the Pokemon center. She had her Pokemon healed and finally got Vogel out of her ball. Vogel immediately perched on her shoulder and made a cooing sound. "Aww! You're so cute," she said, scratching under her head. "Now let's head on to Route 38." She met Blake back outside. "Alright, ready to go!"

"Alright let me just give the rest of my water to Ruby" he quickly let Ruby out and gave her the water. "Did you do everything that you needed to do?" he asked as he returned Ruby and threw the bottle out.

Lenik saw a girl with bright red hair pass him by and run straight into the pokemon center she seemed to be in a rush. Lenik would've payed no mind if Blake was not running after her. Lenik saw the girl give him a quick glance as she ran by. But Blake seemed to be oblivious to his presence. So Lenik walked in front of the pokemon center door, and simply said "Hey Blake."

"Hey Lenik" he said enthusiastically "We are kind of in a hurry. If you would like to come with us we can talk for a longer period of time. It's up to you, but make your decision quick."

Lenik caught up in the rush nearly said yes without thinking but collected himself, and said "wait its getting late i mean blake is.. well i know him so if you want you two can stay the night at my sister's house. if you'd like.

"It's up to Corry, she's in a rush and I'm just her traveling companion, and friend" he smiled. He thought about it and returned Ruby.

Corry looked over at Vogel. "Well. That's uhh... interesting. So is he coming with us or not? Because whatever he decides, we need to get moving," she said, glancing at the moon rising. "Plus, I'm getting pretty tired. What she wasn't telling them, was that she was afraid of the dark, and hated to be out in it long. Growing up in Lavender Town, she had always been told to be home before dark, and for good reason.

Corry bit the inside of her lip. Was she that easy to read? Or did he actually fear the dark as well? Anyways, Lenik really did need to make up his mind quickly, or she was going to have a nervous breakdown. "I don't mind you come along," she managed, though her mouth was becoming very dry.

Corry dashed along behind Blake, too paranoid to care that they were technically holding hands. Her sudden movement made Vogel lose her balance and have to fly very quickly to keep up. Blatt had pretty much just dug his claws into her shirt. Soon they reached a spot where some brush seemed to be cleared away. "Should we stop here, you think?" she asked, pushing a strand of hair out of her face and puffing from running so hard.

"Who said I was scared," she asked in supposed-to-be-defiant-but-really-easy-to-tell-she's-lying voice. "And I'm fine, no need to worry about me." She pulled a small pillow out of her bag. "I didn't expect to be camping, so I don't have a tent. If you don't have a spare, I'll just sleep in the grass. I've done it before, and it's really fun." She grinned, looking up at the starry night sky.
