Those gorgeous green eyes burned straight through her conscious, causing her to blush even more. She could no longer hold back her feelings. The pressure Applejack was putting on her was too much. She had to tell her now."I-I love you." Twilight muttered. Before Applejack could respond, Twilight unwittingly aimed to smooch the farm pony on the lips. But, because of her drunkenness, the Alicorn barely missed the lips and landed a passionate kiss on Applejack's nose, tongue and all. Twilight did not realize this as she had her eyes closed the whole time.

Applejack leaped back with a start. "Twilight! Ya'll love me?!?!" The farm pony asked. "This does explain some actions you have done around me, though ah never though this! How long for, Sugarcube?"

Twilight was startled by the sudden movement of the farm pony, causing her to flimsily fall to the floor."Does it matter how long I have had feelings for you? Love doesn't need aging, it just happens." Twilight replied as she attempted to stand up. With several drinks already in her system, it was difficult to stand still without her hooves wobbling.

Doing as Applejack had said, Twilight plopped down where she stood, her ears drooping slightly."I have had feeling for you the day I met you." She replied quietly, a long, drawn out sigh following her reply. "The way you were so generous to me and Spike when we first met was unbelievable. The way you treated me was something I was not used to. I felt special, as if I had known you for years beforehoof. I wanted to tell you how I felt the moment I felt it, but something pushed me away from revealing my feelings to you. It might have been the fact that my day was so busy, or it might have been my feelings rejecting themselves, knowing that you would never fall in love with somepony you just met."
Her speech dragged on a while longer, mostly gibberish and inaudible words.

"I get it now" Applejack said "Ah guess ah will see ya'll tomorrow" the farm pony added, getting ready to leave, firstly putting on her Stetson.

Twilight wanted to stop Applejack from leaving, but she knew that would only worsen the moment. Instead, she sat completely still, her purple colored eyes focused on the floor beneath her hooves. She could not even bare to watch Applejack as she left, knowing that if she were to watch, she would grow saddened and angered with herself.[/size]

Applejack left the building, closing the door behind her. Applejack was lost in thought of the events that had jet transpired.

(Yep.)"Twilight! Twilight, wake up!"
"Hgh, what is it?" Twilight asked, her closed eyes tightening slightly. As she attempted to sit up, her whole body ached in reply to the movement, causing Twilight to wince.
"How much did you drink last night?" The voice replied with another question, their voice tipped with worry and annoyance.
"I... I don't even remember." Twilight spoke with a sigh, shaking her head slightly. "Enough to make my body feel like I had ran away from a Hydra the whole night." She added groggily.
"You should at least get up and clean yourself off. You shouldn't be sleeping out here in the garden." The voice mentioned.
Garden?
Opening her eyes, Twilight realized exactly what the voice had pointed out. Somehow, the purple Alicorn had managed to fall asleep laying on top of wet soil, caking her feathers and coat in soil. Taking her attention away from the mess, she looked toward the voice, only to see a baby dragon looking down at her with a smirk.
"Yuck! How did this happen?" Twilight shouted, quickly standing up before flicking the soil from her wing.
"I don't know! I came home to you like this. I checked your room first, but the moment I saw the empty bottles scattered around the room, I knew you were going to be somewhere around the castle, sleeping in the worst spot. That's when I found you here, sleeping like a filly." Spike told Twilight, shielding his face with his claws as Twilight began flicking soil off of herself.
"Why did I choose the garden out of all places?" Twilight asked herself with a sigh.
"I cleaned the bottles out of your room." Spike mentioned in attempt to distract Twilight from her thoughts. It did not work at first, but Twilight soon found enough strength to lift herself out of the wet garden.
The rest of the morning, Twilight spent cleaning her coat and cleaning up the mess she had created during the previous night. Though the night was blurred to her, some moments stuck out to her. One of those was her admitting to loving Applejack.
Just thinking back to that moment was enough to sadden Twilight.

Applejack had woken up early, as always, and had went down to buck any remaining apples on the trees before heading back up to the farmhouse. As she was walking, she was thinking back to Twilight's confession. Today, ah might find out if she was just drunk when she said that or if she meant it the orange farm pony thought to herself. When she made it back up to the top, she got all the apples together, ready to bring into Ponyville to sell. Ah wonder if Twilight will come tag see me. was her last thought on the matter before bringing the cart to the main square of Ponyville.

Big Mac was giving the trees a once over, seeing all of them bare of apples. "Applejack must'a got up 'fore me." He said to himself before going back inside the house and making himself some waffles.
'It's the time of the year not much goes on...maybe I'll visit Fluttershy.' He thought to himself.

Depends on what it is. I will do almost anything.IC: "So, you drank every single bottle of cider we had last night?" Spike asked as he skipped into the room. Twilight had occupied herself with a book, coincidentally on the subject of alcohol consumption and the effects it has on the pony body.
"I only drank half of them. Applejack gladly helped with the other ones."
"Wait- Applejack was here? I didn't see her this morning." Spike noted, confused by the mention of the farm pony.
"Yeah, we were planning on having a slumber party like we had that one stormy night, without a tree falling into my room of course. But, it did not go as well as I had planned. I... I think I admitted my feelings toward her." Twilight's words felt weighted as she spoke, as if weights were placed on her body.

Applejack set up the apple family store and waited for the time when all the ponies in Ponyville would start passing by the orange earth pony'a stall of apples.

"I'm guessing that didn't go over well enough?" Spike obviously pieced together the rest of the night, seeing that Applejack was not any where to be seen. "You should go and apologize." He suggested."That wouldn't help anything. The most it'll do is make things awkward." Twilight remarked, a drawn out sigh escaping her mouth. What could get more awkward than french kissing somepony's nose?
"Actually, I think I will go and see her. The least I can do is apologize..." Twilight decided. "By now, she would be in Ponyville selling her apple products." Standing up, the Alicorn quickly trotted toward the door, nodding a farewell to Spike before shutting the door behind.

It did not take Twilight too long to find the stall Applejack was at in the town market. Most of the ponies were around her stall, buying apples and apple products.How am I going to approach this? I can't just walk up there directly and apologize in front of all those ponies. I need a reason for coming here... Twilight's metaphorical gears spun inside her head as she thought of a way to nonchalantly make a conversation that would inevitably lead to an apology for last night.
After stalling for a few more minutes, Twilight finally found the courage to begin her plan.
Trotting toward to stall, she quickly took a place in the back of the line, out of Applejack's sight.

"Y'all come back now, y'hear" Applejack said as another customer walked off with some, at least Ponyville-famous, goods. The farm pony then greeted the next customer. Today was a busier day than normal for Applejack.

As the line shortened, Twilight began running her speech through her head.About last night... I know I was under the influence of alcohol, but most of the things I said were true. I apologize if this hinders our friendship, but I just want you to know that I can let it all pass me by.
Who am I kidding? There is no way in all of Equestria I could let this beautiful mare go! I am not going to let one lousy drunken night ruin our friendship! I have to think of something else that will make it seem like I did not mean what I had said. But what?
As Twilight pondered on what to say, she realized how short the line was becoming. Only three ponies stood in her way of Applejack. Only three ponies stood in the way of her either messing up their friendship, or playing it off as a joke that Pinkie had thought of.
The tension was high, causing Twilight to sweat uncontrollably. Panic began roaming free on her facial expressions as she bit down on her lower lip.

Applejack continued her farewells and her greetings, shortening the line slowly. When Twilight made it to the front, Applejack was looking away, sorting out some of the other apple related products.
