Kitani was sitting at lunch with her friends, eating all the food on her plate. Clyde was staring longingly at her. The youngest, fresh from middle school, Tohb, was sitting silently and staring into the middle distance. Koneko was flirting with Kat. Kitani's sister was the exact opposite of her. She had white, curly hair with blue tips. Kitani's own hair was blonde with red tips. The bell rang. Lunch was over, so they would all go their separate ways.
