Out on the Open Seas! [RP THREAD]

Nicholas sweatdropped as he looked at the two. "Well, its not me practicing... I'm just planning out a strategy for the battles tomorrow, Cobalt and Neon probably wouldnt mind having a crowd watch." He said as he pointed at his Lucario and Jolteon.

Cobalt quickly swung the staff as he tried to hit Neon; but the electric type was just ducking and weaving his way around the staff despite Cobalt's skill with the weapon. "I told you you couldn't even touch me!" "Dodging may be your strongest suit; but finese and skill is my expertise" Cobalt said as he swung the staff upward to try and meet Neon with an uppercut

"Interesting," Sakura smiled.

"Sylvi!" Sylveon exclaimed.

Neon quickly rolled to the side and tried striking Cobalt with a Rock Smash; but the Lucario quickly jumped over and smashed down the staff on Neon in mid-air. "Nice try Neon, but going in for an attack instead of letting your opponent exhaust himself is an error you have to fix." "Well, at least I know I can keep up the dodging for a long while." Neon painted as he looked at Sakura. "Uh, when did we get a crowd?"

"you got one just now!"Espeon called.

All three Pokémon (Red the Staraptor is lurking in the background... Me gusta) sweatdropped at that statement before Cobalt placed the staff where he found it. "Nevermind that you two. Nickelback is coming up with the strategy, so let's just focus on not getting killed in the battle." Red said as he flew down from where he was. "Now then. Up for a little fistfight Cobalt?" Red balled his wings into makeshift fists as Cobalt took a martial arts position. "Let's give the ladies a show."

"Hmm....." Espeon said, not impressed. Glaceon and Sylveon didn't look impressed either.

"Aurina, high-paw!" Espeon giggled.

Cobalt rolled his eyes before quickly begining with a Back kick at Red; but the bird easily ducked under as he delivered a Steel Wing to his other leg; causing the Lucario to fall on his back and recover by rolling back into a fighting stance. Red however had cut him off as he sent an Air cutter his way; the wind having shaped into strange disk shaped projectiles that looked familiar from somewhere... But Cobalt had already recovered and closed the distance by the time Red launched the Air Cutter; giving his opponent an Axe Kick right on the head as Red had struck back with a Wing Attack at his torso

Saylveon sniffed. You can tell she's not impressed. Glaceon and Espeon were also not impressed. "It takes a lot to impress us," Sakura smiled.

"Are you impress?" Espeon asked Aurina.

Both Pokémon got knocked into the ground from their attacks; Cobalt having the wind knocked out of him while Red had his beak cracked from the force if the kick. Red quickly swung his wing in a wide arc at Cobalt; but the Lucario simply ducked under and delivered a horse kick at Red; who in turn got another crack on his beak. "I'm gonna need to have to have this checked." Red muttered as he quickly delivered a Close Combat at the Lucario; throwing punches and kicks as his opponent weaved and ducked his way around half the attack; the other half covering his fur in scratches

"He can't handle something simple like this?" Glaceon looked still very unimpressed.
