Chiron, that centaur, supposed camp director here at this... Camp Half-Blood. Lucius was sitting upon one of the lawn chairs outside the Big House, his hood covering his face. Yes, he heard of the rumors spread about camp on him. He wouldn't expect anything else now would he? At the moment, he didn't care, in fact his whole duty here was basically to lead these demigods on this quest and return them safely. He didn't know how long this quest would take... but he could feel the earth, Gaea writhing with rage. Yes, he could hear her clearly... how he hated her with a passion. His gaze settled upon the camp as he sat there, almost motionless. He didn't talk at all to these demigods here so he knew none of them, not that he wanted to anyways. Questions would always be risky, so it was best if he stayed quiet for now.

  • Reaching for the sheath on his back, he unsheathed his scythe, laying it upon his lap, he examined the blade. The energy coming off of it was still potent. Good... He closed his eyes and let out a sigh, relaxing slightly as he once more sheathed the scythe. Deciding he'd might as well check out the camp for a little bit, Lucius stood up, moving down the steps towards the camp and to the training area. Sharpening up his skills would most likely be helpful in the days to come.

  • Metae had sheathed her sword and left her scythe at her cabin. She walked to the training area. She thought she should train before attempting to find the mysterious guy. She stopped short seeing the mysterious guy. She thought for a moment before walking over.

  • Lucius was reaching for his scythe upon reaching the training area then he heard footsteps. Stopping suddenly, he turned to face whoever was approaching. Seeing as it was another demigod, he didn't particularly say anything to her. No doubt another camper trying to quench their curiosity, he couldn't say he wasn't surprised. He kept his attention on her though, now that she had gained it briefly.

  • Metae looked at him for a moment"hi I'm Metae"She said giving a smile."I heard rumors about your coming and I was a bit curious"she said looking at him with her sea green eyes that reflected an aqua blue at times. "I'm sorry if I desturbed you though I just came to train and saw you"

Ooc hey is it fine if Metae starts having a crush on him after a while.

  • Zerina held her cloak close to her with her hood on. She swiped her curly, short hair out of her face. She climed down from the tree and went over to the strange person. She hasn't heard the rumors about him since she mostly keeps to herself. She kept walking until she got to the training arena.

  • OOC: Sure, that's fine.
IC: Lucius turned his head away as he unsheathed his scythe, saying in reply, though his voice oddly seemed very quiet, "Yes, that is fine." He didn't say anything else after a few seconds, then he added on, "...Surely I don't have to introduce myself... as I assume you as well as everyone else here knows, I am Lucius Draften."

  • Lucius' head turned towards the new demigod that had appeared. He simply nodded his head towards her in acknowledgement to her presence there.

  • He thought, Hm.. He glanced down towards the scythe in his hand, briefly checking the blade to see if it was still good. He'd hadn't used it much since he had gotten to this camp, otherwise the blade of the scythe would be worn down. Slightly satisfied with it, he moved towards one of the training dummies within the area and with a simple twirl of his scythe it seemed as if it didn't touch the target at all but then the dummy had slid off in halves, rendered useless.

  • Zerina smiled a bit underneath her hood where no one could see her face or her appearance. She wore this cloak ever since she got to camp so no one really knew what she looked like. She took of her black necklace and it turned into a black sword she went over to the other side and with a few slashes about half the dummies were split in half. She smiled at the fact that her skills haven't gone rusty. Her sword turned back to a necklace and she put it back on. Then she went to the corner, sat down, and started to meditate just to keep herself in control.

  • Zerina cooled down enough to wear she wouldn't lash out on anyone. She got up and went to the strange person. She smiled and did something some people would find shocking. She pulled her hood down showing a pale girl with short, spiky hair and started tattoo of a skull on her shoulder. There was something about this boy that wanted her to be friends with. She smiled and introduce herself properly.

  • The faintest indication that he had heard her introduce herself was the fact that he replied in return, "Lucius Draften." Then he turned away, moving in one swift movement the scythe had successfully ripped through two of the training dummies with ease. Straightening up, his gaze focused on the scythe's blade that seemed to be sending off waves of energy. He thought, Soon... this'll be blood on your blade... Oddly the scythe seemed to respond with slight flickers of dark energy coming off of it.

  • His soul says something but Zerina can't figure out what and this makes her curiouser and curiouser. She put her hood up to block the brightness from the sun. She walked to one of the closer trees so she can watch the two other campers hack at the dummies. Zerina heard a rustling among the leaves. She looked over there but saw nothing.

  • Satisfied enough, Lucius sheathed the scythe, as it evaporated into pure darkness and faded from view, he had already began to leave the training area. Preparations for the quest would have to be made along with the demigods who were going to be selected. Looking briefly towards where all the cabins was located, he paused for a few seconds then continued on his way without a second glance. Supposedly, annoucements for the quest would be made that night at the Pavilion. Lucius expected it as so, besides he'd been at the Camp for the past few days, regaining his strength and resting from his journey to simply get there. But even he wasn't safe behind these boundaries.... he never was and never will be. Walking up the stairs to the Big House, he saw Chiron waiting for him. Stopping briefly as the centaur approached he heard him say, "So the route you are taking is a very dangerous path... if I can remember correctly." Lucius said coldly, "Dangerous for the demigods that survive, Chiron... this situation will not go away, he simply cannot let it stay like this for long." Chiron's eyes darkened, "Lucius... all that I ask is that you keep them safe." Lucius fell silent, not responding for a few moments then he said, "I'll keep no promises... but I'll try." He moved towards the door then said, "I expect the selected demigods to be prepared after the annoucement... it'll be best that we leave as soon as we can."

  • Zerina hopped down and walked over to her cabin. The darkness welcomed her like it has been waiting for her. She dug out her yoga mat and started meditating. There was enchanting music playing and it matched her mood so Zerina couldn't complain. The mat was made to actually rise her off the ground for Zerina always loved the fact that as a soul she floated slightly drifting to place to place.

  • Going into the Big House, he went to the room underneath the stairs, always open for the rare visitor that came there and walked inside. Closing the door behind him, he relaxed sitting on the bed within the room. He glanced down at his arms, the scars from the last fight with a monster he had were successfully healed up. Then he glanced over towards the dark mark on his left hand, his jaw clenched as he abruptly looked away. No... he hated that mark... Of course, there was nothing he could do at the moment but rest for a little while, so he did. Laying down upon the bed, he didn't bother to pull down the hood, he'd gotten so used to having it covering his face that it seemed almost natural now. Eyes closing slowly, he drifted off into sleep, though he couldn't help but feel a prickle of anxiety about the events to come.
